Siobhan would be truthful, having not been spared those details when taking the job for herself. the woman enters the car on the passenger's side, closing the door softly. did she really care? not particularly. "the woman was on the fence about giving us the Pokémon" she explains logically, quietly "best not to rile her up with emotions over it. she could still turn us in."

and that's why Siobhan gave her half of the desperate mountain of cash. if the redhead had really fallen on hard times, she would err to the money over good nature. she waits for Raphael to start, her eyes watchfully glancing out the window. if need be, she would release a Pokémon or two. but she hoped this job would be nice and easy. no point in starting a race in the middle of Slateport.

she would look up, glancing at Xavier as he said his piece. a dry chuckle escaped her lips. of course. most assumed Rocket was 'difficult' to work with. people with issues far beyond physical scars. though she had the pleasure of missions being relatively easy come and easy go, she could at least understand. "you would be correct."

she says of the contact. Siobhan raised a hand to brush aside some blue locks, tossing with her free one a Pokeball at the Magikarp that Lorelai had decided to pursue. Poe landed on the boat next to her, rocking it slightly but otherwise it was fine. "we're done here" she says, staring now at the pile of occupied Pokeballs. quick work.

"though there will be plenty of time to fight Gyarados" she adds, lifting a brow in amusement.

"I prefer ghosts, yes" she would reply to his assessment "though dragons, fairies, dark types... all are equally acceptable to me." if she could find more types that had a duality it would cover more bases.

she was mildly impressed with the way the young man was capturing his beasts. he preferred to befriend over violent acts, but Siobhan unfortunately had to train her Pokémon. that was the only way to gain experience.

she was not so confident enough for battles. "you prefer water-types?" she would ask him.

with some captured and some let go, Siobhan would begin to head off. she did not feel like sticking around for anything, for she had various jobs to do. money was tight as it was. she wasn't going to waste Pokeballs on beasts that didn't appeal to her. it would seem this area was geared toward novices as well. she was not a novice.

recalled Tyrant, who would soon evolve into a Toxapex with the spare experience gathered from this excursion, she would wave a hand at the young man. Siobhan was not one for idle chat or awkward goodbyes. but she was going to say it anyway. "farewell." and that was it, exiting the area as leisurely as possible.

if there was one thing she liked it was an agreeable person. Xavier seemed the type to be logical, which she could get along with relatively easily. Siobhan did not like those that rushed in needlessly. there had to be a plan, and she had no real experience like many of the Rockets. she would prefer to stay out of trouble - for now.

"their evolution is fierce; you should obtain one."

the woman leans over the boat, checking to see the Magikarp being interested (foolishly) in the Corviknight and Whimiscott shadows. she knew Poe would love to snatch one up and eat it himself, but they had work to be done. with a Moonblast shoved into the face of one Magikarp, and a Drill Peck into another - that was more down for Rocket.

Lorelai would drift over her head, amused by the scene. Poe was more solemn, taking the job seriously. "almost done." Siobhan would say to her partner.

a relatively easy job was not something to complain about.

Magikarp were useless but evolved and trained right? they made formidable second evolutions. Rocket had the Submarine HQ, but many preferred the rage of a Gyarados to unleash upon their foes. and the fact they could Mega Evolve was just one more strawberry topping on the cake. "there is no equipment to go to them" Siobhan would explain "so we make them go to us."

tales of swimmers being accosted by water-types were on her mind. make enough ripples on the surface, and the silly fish would come to investigate. Poe would grab another Magikarp and she tossed a Pokeball at it, capturing it. "this is less suspicious to anyone nearby as well" she also says. sure, they could steal the Pokemon... but two humans in a boat? in the middle of the ocean?

capturing water-types? less suspicious.

a thin but friendly enough smile would cross her lips as Mint appeared, followed by Vic. she hadn't introduced herself until both young men arrived. they seemed much too concerned with checking out the Slowpoke. strange, that a Rocket Grunt didn't get the job they were doing - but she assumed if she tipped him off, he'd tell his pink haired friend. that would cause trouble. "Siobhan" she says to both, extending a hand to gesture to herself "they are going to a reservation called Second Hope."

which she had the pleasure of knowing was a real organization. 

"we'll be meeting the activist in Slateport" Siobhan informs both men "and they will transfer the Slowpoke to Alola. it's merely a quick drive into the city - but some unsavory folks have been, ah, robbing people" first pirates and now Pokemon hunters. well, she was in Rocket so her hands were not so clean. "I cannot defend us while driving" she also tells them "so you will have to do that, if we run into anyone." getting into the truck, she motions for one of them to sit up front with her and the other at the back with their precious cargo.

perhaps it was risky. perhaps she didn't care. Siobhan stood outside the Warehouses with a transport truck parked nearby. loaded onto them were Slowpoke, awaiting a buyer. demand was high for Slowpoke due to the Galarian variant and she was here to oversee the transfer safely. to the League member who was accompanying them, the Slowpoke were going to a safe and happy reservation to spend their days lazily frolicking.

there was no need to cage the Slowpoke. they were quite happy just lying in the back. Siobhan had already captured about five of them without the other Grunt's help. the money would go to Rocket and she'd get a slice. but the two other humans were here to make sure the ride back to Slateport City went smooth. she'd lean against the pick-up truck, ready to drive it. rumor about rival gangs coming to steal Slowpoke during transport was on her mind.
