though her words lacked a bite to them, Siobhan was truthful and blunt. she hadn't ever met up with Bailey Cooper, never heard of her except for through the grapevine. the woman shakes her head as she pushes back some stray jungle foliage.

"I suppose... I am envious of any one who has met the gods" she says truthfully, quietly "and perhaps jealous of the ones that have achieved avatar status." she considered herself close to Pokémon.

but she still had a long way to go to be recognized. her cheeks turned pink as she looks sharply aware, as if nervous what Remiel would think about it. "n-not that I'm here for that." she adds hastily.

the gleam of the scales. the hue of the color. this was a perfect specimen. Siobhan begins to head toward the Shiny Dratini, ordering an attack of Moonblast from her partner. the Whimiscott is all too eager to prove once again she could handle things. shooting the ball of fairy energy to the dragon-type, the Dratini cries out in pain and surprise.

her luck so far in Hoenn was thankfully good. two shiny Pokemon in different locations... "again" Siobhan requests as the Moonblast is once more used. with the last attack, the Dratini slithers down in defeat. she would toss her final Safari Ball at it, attempting to capture the creature. a strong Pokemon to add to her budding team for sure.

what happened to Siobhan? why the formality all of a sudden? she didn't know what to think about his brutish way of dismissing the talk. "I see" the woman says evenly, controlling her tongue.

if he wanted to be formal... "I'm sure you're aware, but reports diminish the true experience of an event." shoddy film equipment aside, elaborate eyewitness accounts drawn dramatically in writing... 

but if you'd rather refuse to talk she held her tongue again, staring neutrally at him.

perhaps she'd find someone that was willing to speak about it in Rocket? "my regret is not having the chance to go there myself." Siobhan glances away. she felt frustrated for his words.

"perhaps another time."

turning on the spot. a quiet pivot, she shuffles away from him. "if there is nothing else, Mister Calcifet, I should see if there are any jobs available."

"nor I you."

she hugs the Corsola closer to her body, feeling flustered by his presence here. she did not stare long at him, clad in his swim trunks as he was. though she did notice the scars and found she cared little about their appearance.

it came with the job.

"she's just" Siobhan glances down at the Pokémon "uncertain" the Corsola nods, trilling in Poke-speech "stung by a Tentacruel. I suspect she's scared of the water right now."

she paused at Remiel's offer to help, blathering on uselessly.

taking a few steps toward the pool's edge, she'd head for the stairs and stop. the Corsola clung tighter now. "if you have ideas...?" she sighed, brushing aside ego in favor of the Pokémon's health.

Rustboro City.

a beacon of the modern world and modern industry. it surprised her that an indoor pool was reserved for water Pokémon therapy in this city. she would have assumed Lilycove at best, but the place was here. Siobhan was all too willing to assist any Pokémon that needed some help cooling off. perhaps it was in Rustboro because of the trouble getting trainer-owned Pokémon into the wilder areas that had water?

either way, she found herself changed into a bathing suit. she felt self-conscious in such revealing attire, but was promptly given a Corsola to cover some of herself up. she held the water-type delicately, the poor thing having been poisoned by Tentacruel while escorting it's trainer to another location via swimming. the Pokemon Center wanted help making sure it was fine to swim again.

while the more playful of the Pokemon entered the pool willingly, the Corsola clung to her. she could feel it drying out on the spot. "come now" Siobhan says softly "you won't feel better if you're out of the water all day."

"Siobhan" she would say now "means god is gracious" though what god indeed when there were so many here? "and Burke, my surname, is fortified." so basically; the fortified god is gracious. a very divine name indeed.

she could not help but smile wryly at his assessment of parentage. "I doubt my parents had any meaning in mind; just that it 'sounded pretty' to them." her mother had been absent for most of her life, and Siobhan assumed she was named by the woman.

"though a good name for a water or dragon type trainer" she gives Ryuuzaki.

the Primarina is noticed and she wastes no time. already pumped from his previous attack, Corviknight dove at the mermaid. he made quick work of the water-type, a few Drill Pecks making it faint easily.

she would toss a Pokeball at it, attempting to capture.

this was not something she expected to see.

the sand ghost rose from the floor below, cackling. yet Dreepy was quick to act. it shot an Astonish at the wild spook, making it flinch before Siobhan called for a Bite to be used. the Palossand cried out in alarm before the human pulled out a Pokeball and attempted to capture it.

Ms. Olive could sleep soundly tonight if the capture worked. no doubt relieved the pesky ghost was dealt with. but what was a Palossand doing so far from the water, the shore? she would look into the backstory of the Hills on her free time.

"have you ever faced her in battle?"

Siobhan was curious how Remiel fared in a fight. surely well, considering he was a long standing Rocket. they did not promote just anyone. so yes, she could respect the man. he was mystifying to her, an unknown.

someone to potentially avoid outside of work-related things. even if she could... subtly see he was attractive. but good luck mentioning that willingly to him. he didn't seem to have an ego, but she didn't want to stroke it all the same.

a Fletchling flew above her head. Siobhan glances up, smiling faintly as it hopped from one branch to the next. if Remiel's Pokemon went to attack it, she would watch curiously. a prehistoric bird against one who could fly...

fascinating.

he had a healthy fascination with history, myths and lore. Siobhan did not mind if he tagged along. she had left it open-ended, curious to see if he would. "an expert in the field would add merit to any finds" she points out, musing.

Siobhan would rather not guess anything until proven right. she could respect occupations that called for specialists - for her own called for it. "give your contact a call" she advises "and I will give you mine."

the woman pulls out her cell, flipping to her own information. her cell number on display as she lifts it to his level. Amor could enter the details into his own communication device.

though lacking in most social graces, Siobhan's terms were clear. he could come along, and bring a friend.
