[nospaces] [attr="class","callie"] as a trained veteran, it's not surprised that callista hears they're not alone before she sees who's actually there. in fact, it's skoll who notices first, looking up from his lapping at water to see a girl approaching them.
[break][break] callie puts a hand out. 'stand down,' she communicates non-verbally. while skoll is still very much a dog, he sometimes could be a little overprotective.
[break][break] this cute girl couldn't be harmful. probably. right?
[break][break] bemused, callie nods at the other as she speaks. "yep. this is gunner. gunner say hi." gunner gives a loud caw, showing off his wing-span with a few powerful flaps of his wings before settling down.
[break][break] or at least, perhaps he would've if something else didn't take his interest. the fletchinder takes off with another caw, making a beeline for @sodapop . however, instead of pecking the poor girl's eyes out, he flies straight past her and picks up the tiny cleffa that had appeared not too far away from them. he uses acrobatics, whipping a whirlwind around the poor pokemon as it flails helplessly.
[break][break] for a bird of prey, he sure liked to play.
[break][break] making sure to watch him out of the corner of her eye, callie then turns back to her. "sorry. he's a little eager." she then notices the motherfreaking serpeant on the girl's back — "he yours?"
[break][break] much like the other had never seen a fire bird before, callie had never seen the serpeant before. at least, up close.
[break][break] "i've never seen a serperior up close," she confesses, a bit sheepishly.
