[attr="class","callie"] sol doesn't say much, but of course she never does. it's not something that callie has ever minded in their decades of knowing each other, and she's happy to do the extra legwork just as always.

[break][break] "oh sure," she says as luka chêne invites them to come over to their side of the spa. she glances briefly at @sol to make sure it's okay, before wading her way over. "oh, you don't have to tell me. it feels awesome on my skin."

[break][break] especially after all those afternoon spent with the training academy, this was well worth it. maybe she should ask someone if they could make this a team activity?

[break][break] "oh thanks!" she pipes up as the cute pink-haired girl compliments her outfit. it's a surprise to callie, considering it's usually sol who gets the compliments, but she's more than happy to accept it. "no point in coming if we can't show off a little, right?" she lets out a laugh.

[break][break] the heat of the room seems to double, allowing steam to leak through. she looks at Evette Moreau as the other speaks. "oh, don't worry. heat has never bothered us before. right sol?" she glances back at her childhood friend with a wink.

[break][break] callie looks towards the shrine, which looks probably worse than her mother's house after a very long seance. luckily, there seems to be two brooms stacked not too far away, one of which that she hands over to the ginger. "you're up, kid."

[break][break] she starts, blinking at her expressionless friend, before a laugh bubbles to her lips. "alright, sol, if you say so." put it to her childhood friend to keep her in her place. it was always sol who was keeping callie out of problems — or at least, that was the way it had seemed back then.

[break][break] though, she would've considered it, for sol.

[break][break] the dark-haired woman nods as sol gives an update on her life, which is bare bones minimum. then again, sol had never been the type of person the extrapolate when not necessary, so it's pretty par for the course when it comes to the redhead. "oh, about that. i still haven't been to the hq. anything you think you can tell me?" her head tilts towards the other.

[break][break] a pause, as her gaze lights up at the mention of @sol 's father. unlike with her own parents, callie has always been fond of the einarsdóttirs. they were more family than her own family.

[break][break] "oh yeah - does he live around here?" she glances towards the door, wondering if the old man is snoozing away on the couch like he used to do accidentally when they were kids.

[break][break] she'd never actually asked sol if she could crash — she'd just assumed.

[break][break] for once, something like anxiety flickers in her expression, before it flattens with the smile that she sends her friend's way.

[break][break] the air in the sauna was hot and humid, something that reminded her oddly of kanto, despite the fact that their base had not really been anywhere near any hot springs. wearing nothing but a black bikini, the woman places the towel on a nearby bench and sinks into the spring, just as she notices two others that she hasn't met before.

[break][break] "howdy." she flicks her fingers towards them in a casual greeting. "i'm callie, and this here's sol."

[break][break] it's words that describe mossdeep well — or at least, as much that callie has seen of it so far. she isn't sure if it's something that she likes quite yet; after all, it is a farcry from their war-torn homelands.

[break][break] sol smiles - and it is a soft, quiet thing - but enough to have callie's heart bubbling. as it always does when she's able to elicit a smile from her friend.

[break][break] "yeah, i almost stole him for you," she says, teasing, before standing up straight and pocketing the device. "so, how are you? how's everything?"

[attr="class","callie"] despite his rank, Greyson Connors looks like the meek type. he doesn't look - at least - like the type of person that would be able to step up to the situation when it calls for it, which is why she's a bit surprise when the other does.

[break][break] she glances at him with a smirk. "i didn't think you had it in you, if i'm going to be honest."

she's the one who wakes up first, so she begins making breakfast for the two of them. callie is by no means a perfect cook, but she knows the basics.

she sets the eggs down on the plate just like the way she remembers sol likes it, as well as a pair of toast and slightly-burnt sausages. her own toast she puts in her mouth, throwing her jacket around her, before she heads for the door. she's got a big day today.

left on the counter is a note, along with a pokeball.

"my name's sgt moon, and this here is lt. connors! we'll be directing your training today." she points to a bunch of dummies standing in the dunes away from them. "you have three targets. aim, then shoot. effeciency is key here, folks."
