when giada morgan awakens, she will find herself in a similar state as she was earlier. in the middle of a foreign man's bedroom, the very man who she is attempting to rob.

[break][break] well, figuratively speaking. caden has used his handcuffs to bind her wrists to the wooden bedframe, immobilizing her in place for at least a moment. the time has also given him enough time to change; she'll find that he has had the time to change into proper attire. he has a black button-up with proper pants on; not ideal for sleeping, of course, but now he's awake.

[break][break] caden's not really sure how much CIAN MAHER has shared with his best friend. to be honest, the two brothers don't talk about it all that much — their dating lives, sure, but also caden's work. and no, he's not talking about his residency at lilycove's general hospital.

[break][break] the blond pushes him away, but caden is not deterred. insatiable as always, that one. as he walks beside him, he leans over. he pauses when a couple passes and once they're out of earshot, he whispers, "do you have an only fans, eli?"

[break][break] but there's not enough time to hear the answer to the question, because soon they're in the middle of a bustling restaurant. caden lifts a hand to get the hostess' attention and they're brought to a table soon after.

[break][break] it would've been much more convenient if he could just look at things and memorize them. unfortunately, having an eedetic memory was not one of his many blessings.

[break][break] his smirk widens as she gives in to him, leaning forward. she's skilled. he'll give her that. even a professional like caden can't help the heat that curls into his groin at her words, her whispers tickling hot and heavy against the shell of his ear. "giada..."

[break][break] his finger's run up her sides, tempted to give in too. it would be so easy.

[break][break] unfortunately, this isn't the time.

[break][break] his munna's dream mist swarms the room and then the munna herself, eyes glowing with HYPNOSIS on her. it makes the room heavy and heady enough to knock giada morgan senseless. caden himself is immune — having spent too many years attempting to cure his insomnia, his own pokemon's abilities are often rendered useless.

[break][break] caden arched a brow, but otherwise said nothing about how easily he'd been able to sneak up on the other. maybe he should try to make his steps more obvious, louder. no that he'd really been trying to sneak up on him any way. if he was on a rocket mission, he could've stolen his cash easily.

[break][break] "hoon, huh? got a last name? mine's maher. caden maher."

[break][break] 'free time? yeah right.' he was only here because his father had asked him. what his father won from distracting a farmer and some mareep for a few hours was beyond him.

[break][break] "sure," he shrugs, pushing up his sleeves. "how should we start?"

kanto food, huh? unlike some other rockets, caden has never had the luxury of going to kanto. though, perhaps luxury was putting in thinly - from the sounds of it, he was probably glad that he wasn't allowed back there. borders and all. did they even have fresh water?

[break][break] the look on @elliott's face is priceless. he can't help but let out a laugh, sliding forward and leaning his elbow on the other's shoulder.

[break][break] she leans forward — presumably to capture his lips with hers. wouldn't it be nice if things just ended that way? not to say that caden wasn't just as willing, or just as eager.

[break][break] the rocket grabs her by the shoulder gently, holding her still so she has no choice but to pause just a breath-away from her lips touching his. "do you think that it's that easy?" a soft laugh. "i'm going to need more than that." he traces a thumb across her lips.

[break][break] and the pearly pink haze continues, his MUNNA'S dreamy mist swirling through the room with ease. the kind of mist that would make a lesser person knock out with ease.

[break][break] maybe there was something about the maher genes that made them so susceptible to flirting; they did it everywhere they went. well maybe not bo, he wasn't like that. but he and cian? well..

[break][break] his voice turns low and husky. "and what is that?" as he looks down at her, one might notice a little bit of smoke leaking in from the room that he had entered from. one might say it was residue left over from his shower. another might say... it looked a little bit pink.

[break][break] "well." he leans forward, reaching forward to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "i could tell you how pretty you are. or how nice you look in my bed."

on the contrary, cian certainly gave off the air of a city boy. it had been a long time that he'd been away from slateport or lilycove long enough to not see skyscrapers in the distance.

[break][break] but his father had sent him here, and so here he would be.

[break][break] as he appeared on the farmland, there was a sense of deja vu that threatened to overwhelm him. flickers of a memory long buried away — running along a mountainside with air in his lungs, back when he'd been young and free and not tied to rocket in the slightest. CIAN MAHER had stolen that dream from him, and then buried it.

[break][break] he swallowed the bitterness, instead, walking behind a brunette. "hey, you here for them?" he nodded towards the group of mareep. "caden. what's your name?" he offers a hand in greeting. beside him, messiah stares at @jihoon with a peerless stare.

honestly, he's glad that it's him. it would have been cumbersome to meet someone new — someone who's mannerisms he hasn't already committed to memory, who he wasn't familiar with, and who he didn't already know all the ways that he could make them blush.

[break][break] as expected, a pretty blush rises on the other's features that caden can't help but appreciate. he takes a second longer to let his presence linger, even squeezing his shoulder gently, but then eventually lets himself be pushed off.

[break][break] "alright," he says. "lead the way. what's the great eli have in store for us today?" a smirk slides over his face. "feel free to use all your patented one-liners on me. i can test them out for you."

[break][break] his gaze sparks with mischief.

[break][break] "you can use them on cian after."

it's more for his amusement than anything, or maybe it's the tiredness. either way, giada morgan doesn't fall short. the look she sends him seems to be the answer he's looking for and he steps back, releasing her jaw.

[break][break] "thieves usually don't admit their crimes so easily."

[break][break] he runs a hand through his hair, still wet from the shower. "so what now? now that i've caught you, what's supposed to happen now?" he arches a brow, lips curved into another smirk. "you seem to have it all together."

[break][break] in a way that implies that he thinks very much the opposite.

[break][break] he leans towards her.

[break][break] "flirting, huh? can't say i'm opposed."
