[break][break] still, the sight of his twin is well-appreciated. he enjoys the company they spend together, even if sometimes he doesn't always it. he greets the other's fist with his own, bumping them together in kin. "yeah. eileen's been horrible with the schedule this week." eileen being the clinic manager who arranged the resident schedules. she was cute, but unfortunately caden didn't mix work with pleasure.

[break][break] he nods at the other when he hands the water bottle back, eyes glancing over towards a meditate that had wandered onto the field. it sees the hypno and immediately aims a drain punch at him; however caden's psychic type is quick on his feet, and ends the pokemon with a wake up slap, that has the smaller pokemon crashing into the dirt. the doctor throws a pokeball to quickly capture it.

[break][break] he turns his head back to the silph. "how are you feeling?" his eyes glance over the other's form casually, though someone who knew him knew it was with the critical gaze of a practitioner. "following directions?"

[attr="class","caden"] the whole time over, caden is silent. he's still reeling from the news that they had gotten from their father in a group text — his father hadn't even been able to say it to their fucking faces.

[break][break] when his twin pauses in front of the door, caden is forced to speak. there is something akin to gratefulness that reflects in his eyes, but it's mangled by the stormy twist of betrayal and disbelief that he still feels from getting the news thrust upon them.

[break][break] "guess we don't have a choice," he says. "let's just go in."

[break][break] not of course, that caden was any better. he didn't have a preference for hurting people, at least not in the way that rocket so often seemed to want. in fact, both brothers had gotten so far in rocket without killing.

[break][break] as CIAN MAHER takes care of the distraction, caden also pulls his mask up. the truck stops dead in it's tracks and caden runs up to the driver's side. the smog clouds around him and he knocks on the window shield, waiting for the driver to roll it down. sure enough, a face appears, coughing. "what the fuck—"

[break][break] "night night!" caden waves with a positively poisonous grin, just as his musharna launches beams of HYPNOSIS into the crack. it's seconds later that the man slumps against the wheel.

"you come here often?" his head tilts, dark eyes shifting over to the other to look at him. it isn't someone that caden recognizes, then again, that in itself should not be a surprise since he and his brother do not normally talk about such things.
