Rich people doing rich people things. No one of wealth would ever wander out this way to figure out why someone would experiment on pokemon. Misha was starstruck but the noise of a scientist leaving a paper trail. Sure while illegal research was just that, it provided great insight. Being morally grey was great because he was indifferent about the deaths of the pokemon that laid in this rubble. Not that it overly mattered to him, he just wanted to hire the scientist to help unravel the mystery of Avatars. But....the downside was that there was another person joining him, and he would have to pray to the stars that this person would be as corrupt or stupid.

Walking around the rubble covered corner, he kept his Malamar and Zoroark hidden by their illusions, blending them in the environment. "Hello sir...Misha at your service," he gave a jesterly noble bow. His cheerfully comfortable cloths, the baggy pants, the loose shirt that billowed in the breeze. "So......we do we start. I hear the scientists did some pretty crazy things, and I'd love to figure out what,"

"The circus I've kind of outgrown. But I host the Carnivals around here now," he smiled brightly thinking about his time at the circus. Granted it never ended except for a year or two when he returned home. He just swapped careers for a time being and readjusted his goals. "good job on your job, I happy you moved on," he mused with a gigantic smile reaching down and petting the electric type pokemon. "When did you leave home," he asked curiously, " got any new pokemon?" he asked stretching his arms. "I evolved my Malamar since the last you've seen me,"

"Well" the brunette winked opening his hand. "A simple game really, nothing really hard. All you got to do is guess which hand the coin landed in," The carni was keen and a liar. It was clear that he meant a normal game but with the clown himself it wasn't just that. "And we can place a wager. If you win.....how about." he paused smirking, poking the mans beverage, "I buy you whatever you desire," he then let the coin appear like magic in his fingers, "I get a date for lack of a better term, just you and me alone," he bargained.

"Clandestine? Never" he lied....that was mostly what he was. This sly fox who likes to sneak in the back and disguise himself as something he wasn't. All about the illusion of delusion. He had to think about why he was here. Truly he was here just to investigate and if this women knew something, that was all but better. Though....she had this impression that he was here to fight beasts and legends. He was not. Rather he just wanted a sample, something to explain and spread this supernatural phenomena known as Avatarships.

"Fools go after legends and beasts," he was a fool but he wasn't the idoit. "I'm just looking to understand these beasts and learn why we've gone still in our evolution, while pokemon continue to surpass us. And from what I've heard," his eyes cleverly narrowed at the women, "there's pokemon granting power to humans.....pokemon of ancient times, and that's fascinating.....do you happen to know where I can' find these people?" he knew names but current locations were a bit harder.

It was clear the girl was young, almost stupidly innocent and naïve. The fact she didn't have a pokemon that could have broken her fall meant she was still learning, or at least didn't have a pokemon that could save her. Though the moment the wind escaped her lungs he smiled enjoying the memory of how his circus training went over the years of his youth. "You should learn how to roll when you fall, or pick a pokemon that will actually save you little mankey,". Little Mankey was what he'd stick to calling her because she is careless and climbs around, but he likes monkeys their cute, so she gets a pass.

Was he the culprit? No. He had no desire to obstruct such a small pond. If he did he'd have to have a reason to do it. Perhaps to test someone's morals or just kick someone while their down. This girl, wasn't one but he debated for a moment wondering if he should take this girls innocence and show her how terrible the world could be. Then again the culprit was most likely watching them. "You know....the louder you are the less likely your thief will show up." he shrugged, "They like magikarp so the easiest thing to do is capture the pokemon and use it as bait chances are....it's another pokemon that likes fish don't you agree? Or would you rather me cook it for you Mankey Girl?"

Eyes traveled to the women, ignoring the wild pokemon that crept around the corners. He didn't feel a requirement to capture or battle these creatures. It was better to just let them live their life and leave him be. It was better to be hidden then be out in the open, but once exposed sometimes you had no reason but to fight. Granted the man could just disappear in the heatwave in a blink, but he wasn't feeling extra notorious. The smirk peeled on his face, "True but that is an environment that is controlled. It's better in my HUMBLED opinion to train in nature with that sense of danager,"

"I can't judge you for training at a volcano," he shrugged, "But only the unstable would do that you know," he mentioned winking at her and walked past, picking up the stones. "You know there are fire stones that are made in these flames. Thou very little is known about what makes them," he smashed the rock on the ground. "maybe it's from intension pressure makes them?" it was more of a theoratical question that he concocted to make things.....interesting for him.

"Baraqiel be mindful not to kill all the fish! The goal is to find the culprit not fry some lunch," the brunet scolded the Jolteon who was vibrating with electricity crackling off it's fine yellow fur. Naturally it always got excited like this, ever since it was an eevee. It made the pokemon almost useless on the job because of it's proclivity to breaking things. However he had to say this pokemon was very resilient after all the abuses it had taken with him since it was but a small eevee. Misha often kept him as a companion and it knew how to keep it's mouth shut. Even with his pokemon that played mind games Baraqiel was a survivor just like Misha, doing whatever it took even if meant biting a friend.

"perhaps we should fish for a magikarp first and lure it out yah?" he asked the electric pokemon as it sat down relaxing. Misha making a make shift fishing rod as he waited for fish to nibble. "Aren't you curious about what Perish Song is Baraqiel?" he asked quietly staring off into the still waters, seeing something reflecting. "Hello little mankey girl,"

This desert....just why? He had heard rumors of a rock legendary pokemon lurking in these sands...but again perhaps this was all just garbage. Speculation by a bunch of locals and possibly crazy reporters. None the less these sand storms were ridiculous this time of year. During a cooler season the winds would never be wiped up like this. Realizing he wandered too close to someone, he gave a calming fake smile. "Oh hello dear" words weaved better by only a bard casting a yarn.

"Why yes... Looking for something of legend perhaps....maybe you know something of these lands," he asked canidly, trying to slither his way into the secrets of the regions.

"Oh a person," the blonde turned his head as he moved from his rod, slowly walking across the cavern, then jumping down in front of the women with perfect grace. His body was clearly feeling the effects of the heat, and without drinking any water he was starting to get dehydrated...but that was nothing new. You just push on through the suffering and your willpower will get you through it. "gaining resilience and resistance to the heat," you know....as one does.

A chimchar ran across the rod chasing a litwik because it thought it was the coolest thing. Though the blonde noticed he looked at his Zoroark and nodded, allowing the illusion of a litwik onto the pokeball that was soon thrown at it, and the monkey grabbed it, getting ensnared by it's red beam. "I could say the same for a young girl like yourself. Only a clown like myself would wonder up here for fun. and you don't seem like the kind of gal to do that are you?" probing questions, maybe she was important....or just stupid.
