Lyssa will do anything within the legal means to boost her images and fame. She doesn't limit herself to dancing to boost her fame but she decides to collect gym badges and her first stop to reach her goal is the Precision Badge at Mossdeep City. As she is still relatively new to Hoenn Region and not really up-to-date with the news that happened around the region yet when she noticed the Gym Leader is sitting on a chair and incapable to stand made her a little bit curious. Lyssa thought that she came to the place early but she found another man already waiting even before she arrives. Instead of trying to greet him, she decides to wait for other first and try to get to know all of them in one go through the introduction.

Once prompted, the man known Hideo starts to introduce himself alongside his pokemon. Their relationship between the trainer and the pokemon can be seen through their playful interaction which made Lyssa chuckle for a bit. Once he finished, Lyssa walks forward and start to introduce herself, "Well then, I will be next. I am Eylyssa Kay but you can call me Lyssa. You may be have seen me dancing in various cities but I love to travel around - So, if you happen to meet me on the road; Don't be afraid to greet me" Lyssa gives out a graceful smile. A sudden nudge can be felt on her jeans, Agni looks at her with anticipation "This Scorbunny over here has been with me since I was a wee baby. I call him Agni. While this Lopunny is his sister since she becomes my pokemon at the same time as Agni - Her name is Thalia" Lyssa introduces both of her pokemon. Agni quickly jumps to Lyssa's shoulder while Lyssa bows. "Thalia, Agni, why don't you do the usual greeting?"

With Lyssa shrugs her shoulder up, Agni jumps to the sky using her shoulder as a propeller. Thalia doesn't get left behind as she jumps and twirl like a swan and gently land to the ground while catching Agni that has been somersaulting on the air. Once they land, both of them cries their name happily.

The adventurous spirit of Lyssa doesn't stop her keep dancing despite she just arrives at Petalburg city when she was just at Rustboro city one day ago doing the same thing as what she is doing right now. A dance choreography that she made by herself incorporating the bunny duo - Scorbunny and Lopunny - energetic hop, she able to lure a crowd despite they are on the side of the road. Then suddenly, in the middle of her dance - A curious watcher jumps right in and follows their dance, a Plusle and Minun. Well, Lyssa doesn't mind and keep continue her routing until she finished. Once she finished, a woman comes - She looks like their trainer - and gesture something enigma to her. "Ah" Lyssa exclaims realizing something, not the message that she is currently trying to convey but the fact that she might be either mute or deaf. Lyssa tries to look around at her belonging and found her notebook. She spares several pages on the bag and offers them to the lady, "I think this would help us both" Lyssa says hoping to converse with her since she finds the Plusle and Minun is adorable. Her Scorbunny and Lopunny already start to play with them while she was trying to talk with Fawn.

There is a pause for a moment from Lyssa but then a burst of laughter erupts, "Ahaha... Sorry for the sudden laugh. I find something amusing but it doesn't really important" Lyssa sweep away the tears that formed from the laughter. She was expecting that the man would fluster a bit with her frontal teasing, instead he just completely ignore it. She doesn't know about others but she finds that funny. "Yeah, the place is great. Although, if I may be honest - It is not the best one that I visited it should be around the top" Lyssa states her opinion about the place. Swirling the drink before taking a sip, "Oh, it climbs up a rank. This drink is delicious" Lyssa was pleasantly surprised by the drink that she got.

"So, is it normal for the owner to be here? Or was I interrupting something?" Lyssa asks enigmatically, coining down that the identity of the person in front of her is the owner of this place despite he hasn't introduced himself yet.

If she is unable to tell where he is - Then, should it be far from the truth to say that the Charjabug has no way to tell what is happening on the top? "Siren jumps back," Lyssa asks and jumps back several centimeters and evades the oncoming attack from the pokemon. The Charjabug launch to the air and start to descend right toward Siren. However, Lyssa won't allow her to fall that easily. "Siren take a step back and use MOONBLAST" Siren takes a step back and stare at the falling Charjabug. She store the moon energy within her and unleashes a strong blast toward the falling Charjabug.

Taking a sharp turn and suddenly sliding down to evade the worker that was moving a wardrobe, none of them were able to stop Lyssa who has a heart that keeps beating wildly due to the sudden news that she got. A laugh can't be stopped as she abruptly stops in front of a boutique, she takes care of herself a bit by using the windows before entering.

Lyssa had a chance to be dancing in Mauville in the past and this store, Cometara, helps her a lot when she was looking for a dress to use when she is dancing. She had a chance to meet with the owner of the shop, mila alexopoulos, and befriend her. Today, she needs assistance from mila alexopoulos as she believes that this can be a business opportunity for her shop too. Lyssa looks around and quickly approaches Mila. "I am sorry but can I have your time for a moment, in a private place if it is possible. I have a business proposal to make" Lyssa asks Mia, trying to hold back her excitement but fails a bit.

The slash didn't work as Lyssa had expected but she still stands firm and believes the tenacity of her own pokemon until the effect of the Perish Song finally happened and both of them fell down, unconscious. The referee declares the result as a draw but for Lyssa, it is a win. Lyssa approaches Khione, caressing her side "You've worked hard. I am sorry to put you into that much pain but, you did a good job. Rest well and I will treat you something later" Lyssa talks to Khione warmly and puts her back into her Pokeball.

The second round comes as soon as the first round ended, Keenan throws Charjabug in and as she promised earlier - Lyssa throws Siren in. "Siren, this is your stage now" Lyssa announces, Siren jumps and clapping her hands excitedly. The signal to start is given out and it seems that unlike before, Keenan bid his time now. Lyssa could see why it is since Charjabug isn't the most mobile for a pokemon. "Siren, sing to your heart content! BUBBLE BEAM!" Siren open her mouth and a foam of bubble forming and it forcefully ejected and blast directly to the Charjabug.

"Ab... soool!!!!" Khione cries in pain as she becomes the received end of the Tyrunt's crunch. Keenan beautifully nullify the detection of Khione with another move that caught Khione off guard. While she was able to evade the Tail Whip and escape the possibility of her defense got lowered, Tyrunt use the moment that she escape with a CRUNCH. From those moves alone, Lyssa is able to tell that Keenan is a talented trainer however - Lyssa also knows the tenacity of her own pokemon.

"Khione, hang in there!" Lyssa cheers from the sidelines, Khione stares at Lyssa filled with determination despite her side is on Tyrunt's jaw right now. Lyssa notices that Khione is still able to move the neck and above, which means... "Khione, retaliate with NIGHT SLASH!". With a limited movement, Khione unleashed a strong slash with dark energy from the blade on her head. She aim to the Tyrunt's leg hoping for him to release the jaw so she can step back. After that, the effect of Perish Song will start.

There is a reason why Lyssa is not a researcher as she didn't have a similar insight with what Jack shows by answering her questions. Right now, she can tell that the rumor is true as she saw a Beeheyem attempt to abduct an animal from afar - "Khione, NIGHT SLASH" Lyssa mutters. The blade on Khione's side shines and with a single swipe, a dark blade attacks the Beeheyem and made her fails on abducting the animal. The pokemon runs in panic and she runs directly toward Jack out of panic.
