With his trip down memory lane, and meeting with his formerly betrothed concluded, Thomas made his way back to Shalour City. Back to the home he hadn't been to since he was a teenager.

Thomas stood at the door reluctantly. For a moment, he wanted to turn back, to avoid facing his family. Despite this, he powered through, ringing the doorbell to the estate.

A familiar Audino answered the door. After a moment of awkward silence, Helga finally opened her arms, allowing Thomas to give her a big hug.

"Helga, it's so good to see you again, big girl!", Thomas cooed, petting her.

The Audino lead Thomas to the den, where his sisters, cousins, and parents all awaited him.

A mountain of a man, taller than Thomas, would be the first to greet him. With a punch to the face.

"That's fer makin' us worry about ya, ya ass!", the man bellowed out.

Thomas quickly recovered from the punch, before turning to his dad. "Good to see you, too, old man.", Thomas greeted him.

"What the hell were ya thinkin', ya idiot!? I thought you were supposed t' have your uncle's brains!", the massive Ranger berated him.

"Well, supposed I inherited some idiocy from you, after all. You did tell me that a real man oughta be a little stupid, after all.", Thomas remarked.

The two men had a laugh, before joining the rest of the family.

Thomas couldn't believe his eyes. The familiar raven-haired woman, Andraste Breachnach, standing before him. Alive and well.

Thomas slowly walked up to the woman. The Baroness of Hammerlocke met him in the middle, the two embracing longingly.

"Andraste, I - was so worried about you.", Thomas blurted out. "What happened?"

Andraste told him the truth. About how their last argument caused her to leave in secret. About her return to the Galar Region, in order to continue her search for the men who killed her mother and brother on her own. Despite this, she regretted the circumstances which caused them to part ways.

"Andraste, you were right. I wish I listened to you sooner.", Thomas told her. "I should've made amends with my family.", he'd reveal to her. "Hell, my path from that night at the Gala was a terrible mistake on my part. I should've used what happened to push for reform, not turn my back on the League.", he'd tell her.

The conversation continued. Andraste broke the news that her father had selected a new betrothed for her. A Duke, and a doctor. Though she missed him, she still had her obligation to her family to fulfill.

Though disappointed, Thomas accepted this news. The two would conclude their reunion with one last hug, before she left.

Slumping over in a chair, Thomas quietly processed his disappointment. Despite this, he felt a sense of closure in this encounter, in this news.

"Doesn't need to be exotic, just useful.", Thomas remarked.

"Don't think they accounted for cosmic conspirators trying to kill us all, though.", Thomas remarked. "Though I wonder, how did they stumble upon that?", Thomas idly questioned.

Thomas lead the way into the kill zone. Clint emerged from the Phantom Force at a sniper's perch, looking out for any signs of trouble. As they pushed onward, a Galvantula, using Camouflage to blend in with the cliff face, fired an Electroweb at the group. Kuma Lisa pushed Thomas aside, allowing the electrified net to ensnare her. Clint fired off a barrage of Razor Leaves in the direction where the web was fired from.

The Zoroark, despite being pinned down, concentrated an Extrasensory burst in the same direction the Razor Leaves were headed to.

Thomas, having taken cover, immediately drew his handgun. "Could be more of them, get ready!"

"Copy that!", Thomas called out, as he arrived.

The little Totodile barely escaped the Stomping Tantrum of the beast, tumbling onto its back, but ultimately escaping the underside of its feet. Meanwhile, Thomas and Colt had to brace themselves, as the earth beneath them shook violently with each stomp of the Paradox Pokemon.

The Decidueye, from his perch, attempted to further weaken the Great Tusk with a Feather Dance. The barrage enveloped the massive body of the beast. The Totodile, further emboldened by this, fired a Hydro Pump at the ancient Pokemon. Joining him was Colt, who'd fire an Ice Beam at the creature, hoping to use the water to freeze it into place.

Thomas sent out Serris, his Steelix. "Need a ride?", he'd offer Cassidy.

Stepping into the empty ballroom of the Hotel Richimme, Thomas quietly scanned around the area. Despite his disconnect from his upbringing, the posh environment carried many memories for the Kalosian.

A boy at the age of nine, who just wanted to quietly spend some time with his beloved Poochyena. A couple of boys, both bigger than he was, attempted to take the dog away, as a sick joke. Despite Thomas' efforts, he could not get the dog back. It was only thanks to the intervention of his twin sister, Andrea Benoit , and Selena Desmarais , that he got his beloved dog back.

It was a night of shame for the boy.

The same boy, at the age of fifteen, now having grown to the size of the same boys, getting into a war of words with them. The boys eventually retaliate with violence, a big mistake. Their numbers do little good against the training and experience the boy picked up. Despite the few good hits they got in, the damage he inflicted was far greater.

Andraste Breathnach , a Galarian baroness, and friend, patches him up, ending the encounter with a peck on the cheek. A proud night for the Marquis.

Nearly ten years later, the boy had grown into a man of great status. In a move that few knew the truth behind, the man threw it all away. Cursing his allies spitefully, being thrown out of the ballroom by security. The same girl who patched him up, now a woman, follows him out.

The greatest mistake of his life.

As Thomas reminisces on these events, footsteps catch his attention.

As Thomas felt Yuina cling onto him, he swiftly jumped out of the vehicle. Grabbing onto a cord hanging off of the side of the Hydreigon, Thomas allowed the three-headed beast to bank to the side, before one of its heads grabbed Thomas' harness in its maw. It would guide Thomas to the saddle, where Thomas quickly got on, doing what he could to help Yuina get on.

The truck would fly off the cliff, before a loud, fiery explosion consumed it.

Kalameet would fly away from the area. Any remaining pursuers would find their attention diverted by the Flutter Mane spawning from the Interdream Mist, attacking them on sight. It would give Thomas and Yuina the cover they needed to get back to base, and get treatment for their unconscious partners.

Thomas silently prepared himself for the meeting that was to come.

It had been over two years since the day he made the worst mistake of his life. The day he threw everything away. A Marquis of Shalour City, a member of Hoenn's Elite Four, all dashed away in a single livestream. What he thought was a sacrifice for the greater good, turned out to only cause more problems.

So here he was, crossing a burnt bridge.

Thomas silently stepped into the office of his uncle, Patrice Benoit. The man in white eyed the man.

"Take a seat, Thomas.", the patriarch told Thomas.

Thomas silently took his seat across from the CEO of Benoit Armaments. He expected to have the man unload into him.

"Not only did you humiliate our House, and House Breathnach at the Lumioise Gala, but you shock the world, by spitting in the face of the Hoenn League, our greatest ally. You cost us our connections to the Hoenn League.", the man began.

"Yes. And I'm here to take responsibility for all of it.", he'd tell his Uncle. "For that, and my theft of the Prototype Armor."

"Ah yes, the very Armor used to terrorize the criminal underworld.", his uncle interjected.

Once he was confident that they were alone, the mask came off.

"Thomas, the day that I disowned you, the others were outraged. If not for Antoine, there surely would've been a revolt.", the blonde-haired man revealed to him. "They were worried about you, thought that you needed help. I know why you wanted this, but know that it pained me to keep that secret from them.", he'd tell Thomas, the harshness in his tone having left.

"I didn't mean to put you through that. And I thought that by having you disown me, that I'd be left as a lightningrod to take all the punishment for my departure. Seems Fernando had other plans. I should've known.", Thomas lamented.

"That hardly matters now.", Patrice told Thomas, as he revealed news articles on the exploits of Thomas, following the League's failure in the Ultra Sea.

"Thomas, are you ready, to be accepted back into the family?", Patrice inquired. "I think you've done more than enough to prove yourself to the world again. And frankly, it'd ease my conscience considerably.", he'd tell Thomas.

"Uncle, I - I accept.", Thomas answered. "I'm ready to reclaim my birthright."

Upon closer inspection, Thomas realized that the bowl wasn't the Vessel of Ruin. He was among those who peered into the contents, to find the Mochi. With his curiosity sated, Thomas made his way down the cliff, to reunite with the other team.

Thomas' instincts were correct, it was a trap. The 'prisoners' freed by the other party turned out to be disguised Megalopolans. With teeth clenched in anger, Thomas drew his bowie knife once again. Both he and Artanis assumed combat stances.

Unfortunately, the poison that infected most of the group took hold. Appendages spawned from their bodies, taking on different placements.

As the Air Slash came hurdling towards his master, Artanis once again assumed a Wide Guard, in order to protect them both from the onslaught. The Wide Guard would also catch the Trop Kick coming towards Thomas.

As Desiree lunged towards him, Thomas readied himself. Moving away, and grabbing the wrist with the shears, and attacking her footing with a low sweep of her leg, Thomas was able to throw her aside. Thomas wasted no time in changing his position, looking out for any other afflicted allies, should he need to defend himself.

More importantly, he was on the lookout for any Megalopolans who'd attempt to seize him, ready to hack and stab away at the blue bastards with his knife.

"Vanilla!?", Thomas called out, looking for his apprentice. "Vanilla!" He feared for what might happen to the poor girl. He needed to protect her.

As the battle progressed, Thomas felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise. Something was coming, he could feel it.

Despite the Extreme Speed which the Lucario dashed, the steely jackal barely escapes the Explosion. Like the Inferape, the Lucario collapses, being knocked out by the damage done. Thomas sighed, and recalled his Lucario.

The worst part of the sacrifice was that it failed to account for the numerous airborne threats on their trail. "Yuina, got anything that you can fly out on?", he'd ask her. Whatever her answer was, Thomas had the same response. "We need to bail. Cut our losses. I'm driving this thing off the cliff. On my signal, jump out!", Thomas told Yuina.

Thomas would start by sending out his Hydreigon. "Kalameet, get ready for us to bail out!", he'd order the dragon, as he sped for the edge of the cliff. For good measure, he would arm an explosive, to ensure that Rocket couldn't salvage any of the cargo.

"Now!"

Thomas grinned as the move connected. Despite this, the Genesect was still going strong, the owner hitting another button. As the beam latched onto the Roaring Moon, it would feel its vitality being sapped. Thomas watched as the Genesect's body began to repair itself. Unlike the Fell Stinger from earlier, this mainly served to annoy the primal Salamence.

In retaliation, the Roaring Moon would swing its tail in yet another Breaking Swipe. This time, the attack was aimed towards the man on the console.

At one point, Thomas was someone of great importance. A Kalosian Marquis belonging to one of the top arms tech families in the world. One of Hoenn's members of the vaunted Elite Four. One livestream saw him throw it all away. Stepping away from his seat at the Elite Four. Being disowned by his family, stripped of his title. All to take the matters of Rocket, and the chaos plaguing the world, into his own hands.

Realizing just how mistaken he was in this course of action, Thomas turned himself in for his acts. Given a shot at redemption, Thomas humbly takes it. Though he believes he will never be what he was before his foolish choice, all he wants to be is a real part of the solution, rather than another splash of gasoline on the open fire.

CURRENT PLOTS

REDEMPTION
Following the events of Goodbye Galar, Thomas had turned himself into the League, for his actions as Wraith. Given a chance by dahlia goode to make amends for his abandonment and violent acts, Thomas intends to make the most of it. Even if he will never get back the status he once held within the League, Thomas will work with them all the same, to repair as much of the damage done as he can.

A DARK TURN
After his infamous livestream, and ugly resignation from the League in late 2021, Thomas took matters into his own hands. Donning a stolen prototype suit of armor, Thomas began to terrorize the criminal underworld as Wraith. Using disguises, Illusions, and a Porygon to subvert the technology used for security, Thomas began to prey on the predators.

His actions were characterized by grisly violence. Typically using guile, aided by the likes of his Zoroark and Porygon, Thomas would infiltrate enemy territory, in order to get close to the high value targets within. Once alone with his targets, Wraith would execute them in brutal ways, either leaving them to be found by their underlings later, or throwing their bodies to their minions, before disappearing into the night. If the group was heinous enough, Wraith would find it fitting to engage in an outright killing spree.

Despite the extreme levels of violence that Wraith was known to engage in, the grim vigilante made it a point to keep civilians out of the crossfire. If needed, he would come to the rescue of those in trouble.

REFORMIST
Though Thomas has come back to the League, he believes that things need to seriously change, if they are to win. The disagreements with the League's way of doing things, the very elements that drove him towards brutal vigilantism, are what he seeks to change. Better protections for the people. Harsher responses to the threats that plague them.

In Thomas' eyes, a 'cruel to be kind' approach is necessary. Reasoning that no matter what they do, Rocket's PR machine will find a way to spin it against them. So rather than trying to appease any bleeding hearts fruitlessly, they should crack down on the threats plaguing the Region, and sort out the aftermath later.

Over time, Thomas has found that he enjoys mentoring younger, or otherwise less experienced people in battling with their Pokemon, as well as hand to hand combat. Though John Sullivan was his first foray into the instructor role, his interactions with Vanilla Kingsley have shown him that he enjoys passing his knowledge on, and making others stronger.

This is why Thomas hated shopping for electronics.

As he passed through the computer section, a Pixio gaming monitor sprung to life, with a familiar face overtaking the display. Thomas looked around, taking notice to the pandemonium overtaking the electronics store. A Dell computer would also begin to float, taking on the familiar coloration of a Rotom.

Seeing a rare opportunity, and attempting to play a part in quelling the chaos, Thomas tossed a Pokeball at one of the haunted appliances, attempting to contain the rampaging Rotom.
