Jalapeño left his trainer's care in order to socialize with Yuina's Zorua some more. On his way to his foxy friend, the Fuecoco tripped on a power cord, falling flat on his face.

Andrea scooped the clumsy crocodilian up, cradling him in her arms with maternal care. "Please continue. I won't open my big mouth again." The young cosplayer said.

They may have knocked out one of the fighters, but Chesnaught proved to be a much bigger threat with its Grass-type shenanigans. Andrea's whole team was seeded, putting them on a proverbial clock.

Battle fatigue finally caught up with her Kommo-o, who hunched over and panted heavily, the remainder of its energy sapped by the seeds. For all intents and purposes, the scaly dragoness was out of the fight.

"It's OK, Kokoro, you did a great job! You deserve some rest!" The young cosplayer said, calling the Kommo-o back into its ball. "It's up to you now, Buzz-Buzz! Catch!" The girl tossed a shimmering Z-Crystal towards her Buzzwole. The Ultra Beast crushed it into bits, absorbing its stored Z-Power.

"ALL-OUT PUMMELING!!!"

Unleashing the might of his temporarily-acquired Z-Move, Buzz-Buzz barraged his opponent with a volley of gigantic fists made up of pure Fighting-type energy. An all-out pummeling, indeed.

Andrea's mouth went agape at Durindana's display of strength, but wasn't too surprised by it. According to a book on DRAGONOLOGY she'd recently read, Duraludon may have been very light and easy to rust, but their alloy bodies could release vast amounts of power.

Noticing the skyscraper-esque dragon's body light up, the dragon lover gasped. "She's gonna burst again! Barron, Protect!"

Her Aggron put up a barrier in the nick of time, but was still knocked backwards by the sheer force of the explosion. The armored rhinoceros landed back on the ground with an earthshaking thud, his form reverting to normal as the Mega Evolution juices ran out.

As someone who had thoroughly studied the neighbouring region's history since its antiquity, Yuina was quite knowledgeable on the subject of Sinnohism. The NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY would not have hired her unless she was qualified in her field. They were one of Hoenn's premier museums for a reason.

Some of the more esoteric stuff went over Andrea's head, but the general gist was understood. "So, Pokémon follow this path, and that's what makes nature so orderly." The PokéManiac mused. "Don't humans disturb the natural order, though?"

No single species on Earth was as detrimental to its ecosystems as man. And yet, their existence had furthered the evolution of the wonderful creatures they shared the planet with. There had to be more to this.

"W-wait, does wanting to become a Pokémon go against the path that's been decided for me?" Andrea then asked, clearly vexed by the thought that everything in life was predetermined by some cosmic force her mortal mind could not begin to comprehend.

At Michael Navidson's request, Andrea had her many Dragon-type Pokémon patrolling the skies of Fallarbor Town and the surrounding routes for any suspicious activity. Things went swimmingly over the first few days, until one woeful evening, fewer dragons returned than she had dispatched.

One of her Flygon had gone missing.

"FLYGON? FLYGO-O-O-O-O-O-ON?" The young woman hollered, yet no response came. "This isn't working. I knew I should've given it a nickname!" She lamented, fearing for the worst. What if her Flygon had been killed on the field--or worse--taken by poachers and sold to the black market?

Two Mega Evolved behemoths clashed. Steel versus Steel. While Barron's immense weight kept him firmly rooted to the ground, his lighter opponent was knocked slightly off balance.

For a brief amount of time, the enemy was vulnerable. Capitalizing on an opportunity when it presented itself was the mark of a good trainer. "It's now or never! Flatten her with a Heavy Slam!" The young PokéManiac ordered.

The gargantuan rhinoceros jumped high into the air, descending upon the flinched Durindana with his big, Heavy Metal bottom. If there was anything worse than getting attacked by someone's butt, it was being turned into a two-dimensional object by it.

Unfortunately for the former head ranger, the dragon maiden was too far gone to listen to his pleas. "No, we need MORE fire! Fire, fire, fire!" She yelled, urging her now feral Hydreigon to go for another fiery bite.

However, Chomper's ravenous jaws met nothing. The Glastrier disappeared, and so did the Crown Tundra. In its place, the ruins of Regirock appeared, the titular golem accosting the group with a barrage of flying boulders.

At the sight of the mighty, rocky titan, Andrea's RAGE gave way to BRAVERY. Her Sygna Suit reacted accordingly, boosting her partner. The draconic cosplayer thrust her arm forward, crying out. "We're not scared of legendary Pokémon! Chomper, use Outrage!"

Andrea and Chomper observed in awe as Helios seamlessly disposed of both aquatic critters. Taking out two Pokémon at once was no small feat. That display of raw power made them all the more excited to battle that mighty Charizard someday.

The young woman blushed sheepishly at Draco's acknowledgement. "I-I guess I'm good at telling what Pokémon want..." Amethyst eyes were drawn to the two socializing dragons, the sight eliciting a wide grin from her. "Looks like Helios has made a new friend too!"

Meanwhile, Finn the Garchomp used Dig in an attempt to unearth any hidden treasures buried under the hard soil. Sadly, there were no Mega Stones to be found this time.

"Thanks, Eli! This is fun! I'm gonna check if there's any Pokémon hiding over there!" Andrea eagerly said, walking into another patch of tall grass. As she walked, she suddenly stepped on something squishy and flaccid. It made a farting noise.

"AIEEEEEEEEE!!!!" The unfortunate explorer was zapped by a non-lethal, but still painful discharge of electricity courtesy of the Stunfisk she had unwittingly put her foot on. Naturally, that incurred the wrath of her protector, Chomper, who fired a Draco Meteor at the ugly fish before it could flop away.

"S-s-s-see? T-t-t-that worked out..." The girl stuttered, her body twitching from the shock she'd just gotten. With a shaky hand, she tossed a Pokéball at what was left of the Stunfisk after Chomper was done with it. The fish was still alive, somehow.
