as pure of a soul as they come; calix is very driven by justice and morality, and in the face of danger and the like, would always put the wellbeing of others above his own in order to give them a leg up. despite his generally upbeat and teasing nature, though, he does have a very good head on his shoulders, and is known to ask hard hitting questions whenever someone he cares about may need a reality check. the more he cares about someone, the blunter he's willing to be when it matters the most. chalk it up to age-based wisdom, or whatever.
