Should Jayden look back down at the dirt, he would find two large, malicious eyes staring back at him. The eyes of a Gastly, which would rise up from the ground and move to lick his face with its large tongue. If Jayden wasn't fast, he'd be covered, from forehead to chest, with ghostly saliva.

"Damn it, Nova."

The voice of a man. Rally, a man of average height and build, ran towards the duo with an exasperated look on his face. Upon seeing the trainer, the Gastly quickly abandoned Jayden and floated over to them.

Rally and his Gastly had only been in Hoenn for a short time. So far, the region seemed like an overcomplicated mess. Compared to his home region, things here seemed to confusing, there were so many customs to abide by, and the people were all very strange. Case in point, the guy in business casual, hanging around some bushes just before nightfall. The first thought in Rally's mind was, "is this some sort of cruiser?"

The man didn't to have any Pokemon on him. If the guy was a pervert, lurking for a quick feel, then he was probably not a threat. If he was a pervert, lurking to prey on innocents under the cover of the coming night, he and Nova could catch him unawares and attack before he could pull out a Pokeball.

And so, the man and his Gastly approached Mr. Stuffy. "Can I help you with something?"

After searching Meteor Falls for several hours, Rally hadn't found his dragon. But he did catch himself a Baltoy, and he was already thinking of ways to use it. Mud Slap alone could net him a decent amount of money, if he trained up Clay's abilities.

As Rally made his way to Fallarbor Town, he and his Gastly looked around. Maybe they could catch another Pokemon before heading home? A nice Swablu to entertain Park visitors, or a cute Lotad he could train to dance. Maybe he'd be lucky and find a strikingly scary Seviper? Though, would he even be able to battle one with just his two Pokemon?

The sound of rustling could be heard behind them. Both Rally and Nova turned around to spot a Baltoy as it passed by. Quite a strange sight, since Rally they primarily lived in the desert, at least in Unova. But this was Hoenn; a land known for being much more lively and bizarre compared to other regions.

Still, it was a Pokemon. And one that was weak to Nova's Ghost type. Catching it would not only be easier than catching a Bagon, but it would bring him one step closer to his goal.

Rally threw out his hand. "Shadow Ball!"

Immediately, his Gastly leapt forward and opened its mouth. An orb of haze and spookiness formed from its lips, growing to nearly the size of the Gastly itself. The Shadow Ball was shot forward, striking the Baltoy.

Yet Rally wasn't going to let the Pokemon catch its breath, much less fight back. He drew a PokeBall from his pocket and cast it toward the wild Baltoy.

Meteor Falls was famous for its Dragon types. While they were very elusive, they were also very powerful and very popular. A Bagon alone might be enough to draw eyes to Paradise Park.

Rally crossed a bridge as he explored the rocky, cavernous world inside the mountain. His Gastly, Nova, briefly stopped following its trainer to observe a large waterfall not too far from them. The rushing water made the Pokemon uneasy; just seeing it was enough to make it sweat, but it had to be loud, as well?

More commonly known by his self-given nickname, Ronaldo could charitably be called a weirdo. He's prone to cynicism and can be fairly judgmental. He's quick to notice problems around him, assume the worst of any given scenario, and voice opinions many people wouldn't like to hear. At the same time, his "solutions" to these problems are often nonsensical to everyone but him.[break][break]

Rally moved to Hoenn from Lentimas Town, Unova. Rumors of Team Rocket's troubles meant that property values have dipped, which let him buy a sizeable plot of land. His dream is to catch as many Pokemon as possible, and make a zoo with them. Partly to have a big family, mostly to form a small army in case the government falls, society breaks down, and everyone is left to fend for themselves. [break][break]
