As for Rally... No. He wasn't going to engage with the girl and her nonsense. Andrea was an adult, or at least old enough to know not to act like a child. Or her talk about people shitting outside, like some film about people in the middle ages. He was just going to keep walking, ignoring her all the while.

"Just take off your suit then," he told her. "You're like, what? Sixteen? Seventeen? You shouldn't be dressing like Tarney the Tyrantrum. It's weird."

Nova was lucky: another Egg Bomb came his way, hitting him directly on the head. But when the smoke cleared, he found that he wasn't hurt. No damage, thanks to his Ghost typing. Take that, you stupid Jerksey!

The poor kid. The poor, stupid kid. He was so naive. And now, because he was weak, the other inmates were preying on him. An Egg Bomb was launched by a Chansey, and the result left the Deerling glowing with rage.

Or maybe it was going to use an attack. Solar Beam. O-or even Wild Charge! It was going to attack the Chansey! Yes, little buddy! Fight back and defeat the enemy Chansey!

... And maybe, while the prison guards work on healing her, the two of them can escape.

Ignoring the miasma, Nova leaned in close to the Deerling's ear. "Hey. I think I have a way for us to get out of here."

Stupid Whitney. He had no respect for the warden, nor her husband. Now the poor Deerling, likely another Pokemon from his home region, was now part of the system. It was young, too young to become another victim of prison life.

To Nova's surprise though, the Deerling was approaching him! It was probably just a kid, looking for guidance and help. Well, tough luck; Nova was going to bust out of here long before the four-legged twerp would figure out the truth: it was abandoned here, just like everyone else.

Maybe it was time to let the kid know the truth. The moment the Deerling approached, Nova screamed, "Your trainer abandoned you! You're in prison and you're going to rot here forever! Your only chance of salvation is to escape or die!"

Rally turned up his nose at the girl's critiques. Well, she was right, but that wasn't the point. You don't criticize someone you barely know like tha- Oh, he was doing that earlier, wasn't he?

Well, still.

Nova, meanwhile, took a liking to Missy. The Gastly immediately flew towards her pouch to take a seating spot inside, right next to the baby Pokemon inside. Maybe he'd give it a lick while he was there, too.

Rally turned around and started power-walking up the hill. "Yeah, let's go. Sooner we do this, sooner we can go home."

Nova grabbed the ball with its tongue again. This time though, its eyes fell to Rally first. Its smile slipped as it seemed to try and get a read on the situation.

Rally furrowed his nose at the money offer. To him, it came off as condescending - to give someone money was to say that you didn't think they could go on without your help. Though he was sure the man didn't intend it that way, Rally couldn't help but take the offer as a message: "You are failing at this."

"I don't need the money," the man responded curtly. "I can handle this on my own; I'm not a kid."

THWAP! The ball was thrown right at the Psyduck's head again, this time with much more force.

The first Pokemon to pop up was a Cherubi: cute, interesting, and perfect for the Park. As far as Rally knew, the species weren't very common in Hoenn, either. Such a Pokemon would be a great addition to the pWait never mind.

Nova decided to act ahead of its master. The Gastly pushed its face against the Cherubi and started Licking it repeatedly. The Pokemon, at first stunned, simply let out a whimper. The strange, purple Pokemon was... tasting it?

Once the Pokemon gained the courage, it took off as fast as its feet could carry it, into a push and to parts unknown.

Oh well. Maybe next time?

"Yeah, I'm thinking of a Noivern, or a Ge- Nova, you better stop that shit!"

Rally glared at his Pokemon. Never mind the dents put into trees, the dirt and grass that had been ripped up from the ground, or the scuffs created in the walkway's walls. Psyduck was in the right for defending itself, and Nova was in the wrong for being a jerk.

After letting a small moment pass, Nova didn't respond. With that, Rally could turn his attention back on Spyro. "Cheap's also a financial objective, and that's how I got land built on an ancient Draconid burial ground."

While Rally wasn't looking, Nova's tongue reached down and grabbed the ball. Once again, it hurled it right at the Psyduck's face. Hahahaha.

"Maybe I'll take a trip to Pacifidlog. I heard it's a nice place, and I can find Corsola there. It'd be nice to start stocking up the aquarium. But what can you even do there? Isn't the place just a bunch of houses on some logs? No offense."

Threading with Húxiān Tianyu

Stupid Rally. Stupid Clay. Stupid Psyduck. Stupid...

Nova was a Gastly in trouble. His owner, his beloved and cherished friend of many, many years! Abandoned him! Left him in this "Day Care" prison. After all these years together! Was their friendship not enough?! Did Nova do anything wrong, ^{outside of hitting that Psyduck and accidentally breaking the temperature controls?} 

Yet here he was, in the grassy back yard of some old couple. Other Pokemon - younger than him, mostly - wandered around and played together. Poor fools who didn't seem to get that they were abandoned by their trainers, and they were never coming back!

"Assuming everything went according to plan" was like spitting on the face of gods; you can't just tempt fate like that and not get a reaction. Thank you, Andrea. You've cursed us all.

Somewhere in the middle of the wrestling story, as the duo rode up a long dirt hill, the sound of hissing could be heard. The motorcycle slowed down over the course of a few minutes, and the bike would lower.

"The hell?"

Rally was forced to hit the brakes halfway up the hill. He hopped off his bike and knelt in front of the front wheel. Just as he thought, it looked like a Maractus needle, or something similar, jammed itself right into the rubber. "Fuck, a flat. We're going to have to go on foot the rest of the way."

Wait a minute. They were on a hill, right? And Rally had forgotten to set the bike stand down. Meaning what the motorcycle was free to creak, whirr, and start rolling backwards down the hill.

Rally's eyes bulged as his bike wheeled itself down, gaining more and more speed as it moved. If the girl didn't get off, she would join the bike in rolling down at frightening speeds. It descent was only stopped when it reached the bottom of the hill, crashing itself into a tree.
