Kazzy was soon yelping in terror. Getting knocked back in a panic and sliding across the ground. The pup froze in fear as it stared at Saber thrashing about like that. What had happened to their friend? Whimpering he got up and backed away quickly, tail between his legs. Frozen in his spot and trembling. But soon Dagger was in front of him, snarling towards the other canine. He wasn't going to follow him near Kazzy.

Matt felt the air change, knowing that meant they must have found- then the display happened. His eyes went wide, gently going to spur Nana forward. Nana howled, sprinting off in full speed. Barreling straight through the training fields, jumping rocks, before arching to turn herself into a sliding stop, which Matt kicked off her back into a roll to then go running for the canine.

"Saber! Calm down! You're going to hurt yourself!"

Matt may have honestly thought something was wrong. "Come on boy, it's me, Matt? Remember?"

Why did he come here. Why was he here? He was nervous. He didn't have Nico with him as his buffer. But.. here he was. Hoenstly, he only knew really two people who would be here. Josh Devlin and annalise henderson. That was only the real reason he came. Plus, you can't get into the rangers without you know, meeting them?

He felt stupid standing outside the door with a pan of chili. It was what nicodemus unken made so good that he just had to share. It was super spicy, too! Matt was never one for nerves, why was he so nervous about going in here? Shaking his head, he snapped out of it. Going to walk straight inside, he hoped no one stared at him. Instantly he went to set his pan down, and keep to himself in the corner. Honestly he just needed to find Josh or Annalise... hopefully they showed up.

So for now he was opening his phone, going to text the two to see if they were here.

"Well, I don't plan on riding around drunk. So I'm good."

Rarely he got a drink, and after today, he thought he deserved it. Glancing over the menu more, he glanced up as the waitress dressed up as a Dustox came by. Matt only blinked for several moments. It was a cute outfit, he never understood the need to have girls dress up like that at sport bars.

"Yeah, an ale and the Blazakin wings, please." The waitress nodded, turning towards Josh, tilting her head at him, waiting for his order. Matt waited for Josh to finish ordering, before he glanced at the screen. Seeing the race going on, he frowned a bit at it. He may have had a passion for racing, but he never wanted to reach that type of competitiveness... he was planning a life out, after all. With his boyfriend.

"Thanks for bringin' me by the way."

Dagger rolled his eyes at all this. What was the point? Huffing to himself, he leaned against the tree. Yeah, he'd help with his eyes, but otherwise.. Nah! Until he saw the clouds rolling in. Brow raised, was this natural or was someone bringing in clouds? Growling, he climbed down the tree.

Sniffing the air, he caught the scent of the last pokemon. With a sigh, he soon let our a loud bark. It echoed over the area, to alert Matt. Which it did, Matt had just got settled after saving Blitz, turning his head at the bark. "Kazzy, go help Dagger." he ordered. Kazzy nodded, zooming off to find his Riolu friend!

He crashed right into him. Tail wagging happily at him, tongue out. Dagger made a face, but soon he was leading the pup to the new area. Looking around, he scratched his head. This would be difficult to go through... but maybe not for the rock type. He motioned him forward with a paw. Kazzy stuffed his noise to the ground, sniffing out where this last pokemon could possibly be!

While Kazzy and Dagger had their adventure, Matt was climbing back on top of Nana. Giving her some affectionate pets, then motioned her to follow where the other two canines went. "Let's go."

Naba was watching Matt during this. The dog started to look... upset. Had she hurt the one who had saved her? Ears went flat to her skull, dropping her head as she started to walk to Matt. Nudging him gently with a soft whine of an apology. Matt blinked at her, patting her muzzle. "It happens girl." Mistakes, he meant.

"I'll ride Crash on the way back, alright? Since they're saddled up." Going to climb on top, he more or less leaned into the dog, closing his eyes, answering Josh. "Sure man, sounds good."

Matt squinted as Noah explained what... what that was. Excuse him, what? That made no sense. How does time and space just mess up like that? "What, someone piss off some god and now he wants to fuck time?" Matt looked a bit baffled by this information. "Ah, sorry. This is kind of a shock." Rubbing the back of his neck, he looked at his bruised hand.

"Well, it's better than the time I punched a Sawk and Throh in the face..."

Was all Matt ever did was fight?

Kazzy had followed the ape, now sitting at his feet and tilting his head at the giant pokemon. Pawing at him and barking happily, as if thanking them for helping save his master, so thankful! Then he dashed to Noah, running around him barking and dancing in his spot. Many thanks!

That got a brow raise. It made him question why she did not want to go to the hospital, but if that's what she wanted, he would do so. "Yeah, picked it up raisin' seven hoodlums." That information could have meant anything. Without a care, he walked over and grabbed some bandages off the shelf. Pulling it apart, he also grabbed some alcohol.

Looking around, he had to find something she could bite on. Opting to hand her some beef jerky of all things from a shelf. Pausing as he did that, that... probably wasn't the smartest thing to pick. Eh, whatever.

"Alright, move your shirt for me, it's gonna sting like a bitch so you can bite on the jerky or punch me, whichever you find best."

The last option may have been a joke but she could if she wanted. "After I get it cleaned I'll wrap the bandage under your arm to secure it, so I'll need as much room as possible."

Lulu Flint

The place Josh was taking him after they got him patched up looked like a bar and grill he had seen several times since he lived here. Having not ever really went in himself, with helping raise his seven other siblings. So time never happened for him to get here. However, this place seemed like somewhere Nico would love to go. Or at least, Nico's grandfather might drag him in here.

"I've lived here forever and never been inside." He felt silly he had never came in here. "Steak fries? Yum. They got wings? I could totally use a beer after all the stuff we went through." He laughed, hoping Josh didn't mind him grabbing a beer to take the edge off things. "Besides the fries, what do you recommend, bro?" He was grabbing the menu, glancing over it. "Blazakin wings... wonder how hot they are."

Matt let out a sigh of relief. He did not expect this to go as smoothly as it did. Now he had a... Grimmsanrl. He would find something to do with it later. Perhaps offer it to trade. Right now though, it was not the time. Turning his focus back to Josh- he blinked as he caught the Drampa. Huh, well okay then.

Feeling bad about snapping earlier, he realized it was kind of rude of him to do so. Josh was just doing what he did when one of his siblings got hurt. "Sorry for earlier, guess I never had to go on the receiving end of being scolded." But now his body ached like hell and he felt the adrenaline wearing off.

"Can we... get back to town? I ain't feelin' too good."

Matt was not smart- he really was not.

His first hu rt like hellfire.

Gritting his teeth, he tugged the bleeding knuckles to his chest. Using his good hand to keep his face still protected. Shooting his head over towards Noah as he called, he gave a firm nod. "Kazzy! Come!" he called for the canine.

Turning on his heel, he nodded at Noah and took off racing with him. Kazzy was going to follow the ape, barking at him in thanks for assisting him and his trainer! What a good... what was this? Kazzy had no idea what the ape was!

"Thanks man, I do appreciate it." Once he made sure they were clear, he grunted at his burning hand. "What... what the heck was that, again? What happened???"

This was the LAST TIME he was doing this. Last time, until next year. Unless he actually took up this diving hobby. He did become a buttered hot god during it, so maybe... maybe should go flaunt to Nico. He can just hear his friends laughing at him for flaunting at his boyfriend. He did not care! He loved Nico! So off he went diving, to just get hotter for him!
