Matt let out a big laugh, slapping his thigh. "Our names, age, birth signs, everything!" It felt good to cut up with Isaac like this. Just two friends chilling in a gym. No homo there. Matt was only homo for nicodemus unken.

"Better hope the flying types can get our drunk asses home. Or someone with us isn't drinking." A shrug. "For future us to figure out."

Future him hated this already. A lot.

"I'm a little excited to see how space looks.."

Matt smiled as he devoured that corn. Seeing how excited he got brought a lot of joy to his heart. It helped with what had been on his mind recently. To ignore all the bad just to have this experience with Nico made it all worth it.

"The only real thought I have is location.. I'm thinkin' down near the waterfall? Plenty of room for a large crowd, can bring chairs, it's not to far from town. Nana and Dagger can easily help carry anything we need."

Some motions. "I do want to ask JT to be my best man... Assumin' you're askin' Ash, and I was thinking of asking Josh and Isaac to be groomsmen?"

Well Matt saw he was well, screwed. Not that he minded, he ended up in the back with his beloved. Looking towards him, he angled Nana over. Sliding out of the saddle, he stole a few kisses to his cheek. "Hehe." He teased him, before kicking to send Nana off running faster.

"Well go big or go home!" He yelled, as Nana kicked in her Exetreme Speed again. Off they took!

As the conversation went to Torolf, Matt's face soured a bit. Sighing as he grabbed the wine, taking a huge swig, then placing it down. "I didn't... exactly ask him. Asked your sister and grandpa Tro, though." He did ask permission. Somewhere. At least.

"Pretty sure if I had he would have punched me in the face." An eye roll, but he reached over. "Try the corn, mom made it. S aid she added all the spices you like." He wasn't trying to change the subject, just lighten it. "I may have told Aki she has some creative control over helping us with theme... so I'll leave you to controlin' her." He teased, winking.

He was going to have to ask JT how the hell to write a vow. "I'm also sure Ash is gonna be all over it too. You know how those two are."

"Of course they're happy."

Another tight squeeze, hugging him close. "All the kids help put this together." Another smooch. "Helped wrapped gifts, mom and dad helped me with dinner, the smaller kids helped with the petals." Going to finally set him down, he pulled out the chair for Nico to get. Then making sure the glass of wine was close enough.

Going to sit across from him, he instantly went and placed his foot near his, making sure to leave some kind of touching connection between them.

"Everyone wants to help with the wedding but I'm not even sure... what to do with it. You and Aki are the more creative ones in that forte."

Matt's own nerves were getting him. What id Nico said no? That was silly. There's no way he'd say no! Right? Arceus he was praying there wasn't. He knew he was a pain in the ass to deal with sometimes.

Like getting shot. A lot of things.

But it all went away the nanosecond Nico said yes. His eyes went wide, about to put the ring on, only to be glomped by his now fiance. Smiling, he scooped him into his arms and swung him around. Matt had gotten a lot stronger lately, too. Squeezing Nico tight, he placed several kisses over his face. Showering him in affection.

"I was so scared you'll say no-"

A sound was heard in the corner... a camera?

"Yeah, knowing him... he'll be saving me." He laughed, sighing as he shook his head. "Once it's over, we're going drinking. Got it?" He wasn't going to let Isaac forget it. They were going to be need the strongest vodka and a lot of therapy. So much therapy was going to be needed.

A more somber face came, looking at him. "If for some reason I don't make it back... tell my fam and watch over Nico, will ya?" Probably the only person besides Josh he'd trust to look out for his boyfriend.

"And if you don't come back, I'm finding Arceus himself and kicking his ass till he brings you back."

Matt watched on as Dagger took on the beam. Trying to blast it back with his Aura Sphere- howling as formed the blast into a sword of energy, slicing and dashing meteors- before the canine realized he wouldn't be able to keep this up and protect his family. Turning his back to the beams, with the help of Tekka's Helping Hand, the canine would shift his Aura Sphere to shoving his family (harmlessly) out of the way. Instead it seemed he ended up hurting Tekka as he shoved her out of the way.

A pained apologetic look was shot to the Umbreon. But they knew what they needed to do. Protect their family! He would give her a sage nod, to let her take care of getting Nico out of the way, while focused on getting Matt out of the way-

His trainer was stunned there. Watching the destruction of the new pokemon. It was so intense, Matt did not think this would happen here...

Dagger sped forward, shoving himself in front of Matt. The two red-eyed companions locked eyes, Dagger giving a brief nod before the beams hit his back, launching the canine far across the meteor. Matt screamed in agony, watching his friend fall to what looked like an almost life-less heap on the ground. Fists clenched, as he ran for Dagger.

As he ran, a meteor managed to smack him in the back. Shrieking in pain, he growled. He was far more determined to get to Dagger to get him covered, to make sure he didn't lose his friend up here.

Rage started to tingle in him, but it was pointless rage. Rage at this entire situation- this fighting- it pissed him off. Shaking his head, he ran over towards Dagger, returning him to his ball. "I'm sorry, brother.... Thank you." He whispered to the ball, giving it the gentlest of kisses to the top.

Clenching his fist, a glance given to the alien above them. Seeing it readying another attack, but the rockets were commanded to stand down. Kissing his teeth, he would leave it alone. But they were in the most danger being this close too it. He and Nico needed to get farther away.

As he saw Hoenn getting closer and closer, Matt knew they were out of time. They failed. But right now... he just had to focus on saving the one person who meant the entire world to him, before he became flattened by the world he was trying protect.

Pulling out Nana's pokemon, the shiny Arcanine exploded out of the pokeball. Matt forced himself up on top of her, groaning in pain from his back. Didn't matter. They had to get OFF!

Running for Nico, he would reach out to grab a hold of him and sling his fiancé up on top of Nana's back and behind him. "Hold on and Do Not Let Go." He ordered, hoping Nico just followed his command. "Extreme Speed! Kick us off the rock and into the sky!" Nana howled, as her body suddenly went crystalline- some odd crown formed above her head.

Legs blurred as she began taking off- going for a piece of jutted meteor, running towards it faster and faster the arcanine ran, before she kicked off the rock. Sending the trio into the air, the speed kicking them off far enough they were now free falling. Matt quickly turned, barely able to keep his grip on Nana from the fall.

"Hold on!" He yelled at Nico, as he returned Nana from under their legs. Soon he re-released Oto, the shiny avian cawed and fly around, quickly going to go under them to catch the two lovers before they would plummet to the earth. Hopefully Oto was able to handle his own landing.

As they fell, Matt saw shards- haphazardly trying to grab one as they fell.

Matt looked nervous. He was at his parents place in Fortree- the entire family was out of the house. They were in on Matt's little surprise he had coming for Nico. The entire house was dimly lit with candles. Several colored petals lined the floor. Leading from the front door, to the living room.

In the living room were several photos of the couple together. Some gift boxes scattered around, along with some cards from the family. But a note said to keep following the petals. They lead to the kitchen. Where a meal was prepared, it was actually one of Nico's favorite. A still sizzling steak on a griddle.

Matt was there, setting down two glasses of wine next to the food. He had expected Nico to come in right about now. Looking up at him, he smiled awkwardly. This was the most nervous he had ever been in his life. Even when he had gotten shot and had to call Nico, this was worse than that.

"Hey, love." Going over towards him, he gave a awkward smile. "I got something I've wanted to ask for a while.." Pulling out a box, he knelt to one knee. Opening the box, inside was a ring! But the ring had Josh Devlin's gym badge on it. After Matt had won the badge, he had went and had it turned into a wedding ring. His first badge, for his first love.

"Will you marry me?"

Matt watched his style, quite the opposite to his. Honestly, he wondered how he and Isaac would fair in a battle together. That wasn't them fighting two pokemon.

"You better be safe out there. I don't want to have to jump off the meteor to get to Pyre to come save your ass." He teased, trying to make some light hearted fun. Getting a towel to start wiping off the sweat from his face.

"Gotta... do something, seemed the best route to go. Plus it's where Nico is going, and not letting him go by himself." Matt would die on that mission to protect him if he had too.

Isaac Merlo

Matt's head was just not in the game. The mistake almost got me thrown off his pokemon. The arcanine did fall on her side, as she growled and got back up. Heading back to running the rest of the course. Matt gave her an A for determination.

But he knew he had lost, but at least he'd finish. Maybe get him out of his head and able to focus.

A loud exhale, hand reaching out to take the water. Tilting his head bag and chugging it, then pouring it over himself. "Have to make sure I'm ready." He pointed out, setting the water bottle down. Looking at the punching bag he broke from the ceiling, he looked it up and down. "Whoops." He muttered, stepping back.

"why don't you let off some steam? Feels good." He pointed out, going to sit down on a bench, rolling his shoulders some. "Gotta be ready to go see a space rock, after all." He pointed out. "Cause soooomeone wanted to stay on the ground and be boring." If there was one thing Matt always kept, it was that stupid sense of humor.

Matt stretched out his muscles, grunting at the tightness in his side from the healed bullet wound. Shit it hurt still. Snorting through his nose, he stopped and cracked his knuckles. Popping up to his feet, he rolled his shoulders. Breathing out a heavy haze from his mouth from the puff he had been holding in.

Shuddering as it tingled his systems. That small rush then mellow, he breathed slowly.

Opening his eyes, he looked around the gym he was in. In the very back, in a privately rented room by him. He was free to do as he pleased, and right now, he was blowing off some well deserved steam.

The music started to play. Matt bounced from one foot to the other. On the other side was Kazzy, watching his trainer curiously, along with Dagger, who was also watching with much more interest.

What's Up Danger started to play. The intro going on. Matt grunted.

"What's up danger?"

He sprung forward, throwing several punches into a punching back. As the music went on, Matt sang with it. "If I sound lazy, ignore my tone, cause you always know i'm gonna answer when you call my phone like what's up danger"

Soon he brought his knee up into the bag, elbowing it as he started to snarl like a wild dog. His punching got more frantic, like it was perseon.

"Mama always askin' where did I go wrong?"

A kick.

"And I ain't really care if you ain't do ne wrong!"

A punch so hard the chains rattled to the ceiling.

"I like tall building so I can leap off of them!"

Two kicks

"I go hard with no matter how dark it is!"

Rapid punches. Sweat was pulling down Matt's arm and face. But he wasn't stopping.

"Like what's up danger."

"Can't stop me now!"

He kicked the bag so hard it came off the ceiling tile. Hitting the floor as he kicked it again and again.

"I got you now! Come on, what's up danger?!"

Panting, he leaned over the bag, sweat still pooled all around him. The back of his white shirt damp at the lower middle of his bag. The front was... tinted slight red. Shit, did Matt overdo it?
