So, Hoenn’s the kind of region where rangers are celebrities just for being rangers? Is that what he’s implying? They do have catastrophes happening all the time, and people do love a hero, but Unovan as Fae is, she can’t help but only see them as the guys go around talking about pokémon conservation and the environment.

Ah, but this is a fundraiser to help migrating pokémon, isn’t it? It makes sense that a well-known ranger had been invited as some sort of relevant celebrity. For all Fae knows, maybe everyone in the audience is a pokémon conservation fanatic who is obsessed with Laurence Anderson. She doubts it, but it’s still a possibility.

Furthermore, what if the thieves come back for the rest of the pokémon or something? It only makes sense for one of them to stay behind just in case, but maybe this Caleb Harcourt doesn’t trust her intentions. He’s the ranger, so he’s the authority here, is he not?

From a pink and purple pokéball (a Dream Ball, to those familiar with the variants) a Mightyena is released – large and of lucious fur. The Zigzagoon excitedly runs to its side, recognizing it immediately.

She has never understood why some people are so obsessed with what they call “Eeveelutions”, but in her opinion, Umbreon is without a doubt the best of them. Then again, that is to be expected.

They say actors are the greatest liars, and that much is indeed true when it comes to Fae Madden, but perhaps the fact that her whole career has consisted of constantly lying has made her be a rather blunt and honest person when not acting.
