The fluorescent lights flicker and buzz. Each footstep carries callous sound within the hollow acoustics of this abandoned facility.[break][break]

"i think they love me!" Monroe declares.[break][break]

But Walsh does not respond.[break][break]

"you should loosen up, declan! be more personable! relatable! take it from me, a good ol' guy who was voted in with the popular vote."[break][break]

Monroe swings his mighty arm toward Walsh's back. A hearty affirmation of their camaraderie, but the pale specter strides forth to avoid the hand. Walsh's cape flutters behind him as he hisses in Monroe's ear:[break][break]

"do not believe for one idle juncture that this clears you of all suspicion. i know where you come from. i know what you are."[break][break]

Walsh leaves.[break][break]

Monroe laughs.

WHEN THE TRIAD'S INTERFERENCE seemingly fades, the keen-eyed may be able to spot the curious changes in others' hair. Several hair strands have become white on each head: the same dye sported by Father Winter and their colleagues.[break][break]

"you may be right, fiorelli. if ruination is the origin point, then i trust that you will be watchful of your snail?" The Hoenn Boss says. He grants Naomi Sato a brief glance before shifting back to Elisabeth Fiorelli. "better yet, you will be vigilant of the drk triad's interference. no doubt they will be interested in your and cross' patrons."[break][break]

When jayden cross raises his arm, the Boss grants him with an answer: "if you deem it just." Across his pale countenance, the ominous beacon of his gaze seems to flash at howard slayte.[break][break]

To mint frost, the Boss responds too. "i am unsure if arceus is on the drk triad's side. rather, they seem to be warning us. if the future terminal's scenario shown in the cloud is to be believed, then their goal is to avoid the pokemon's involvement at all costs." He compounds upon BARNABY FINCH's contribution: "they have targeted those with potential before. how many assassinations have they committed without the region knowing? how many potential avatars have they prevented from being birthed?" [break][break]

ULYSSES MONROE APPLAUDS THE DEATH OF THE FORMER ARTICUNO AVATAR. His smile is wide. As wide as his clapping hands that seem to be casting off their enemy like meddlesome dust.[break][break]

"what's next?" Monroe says in reply to howard slayte. "venturing into the wilds, preparing for the next siege, my boy! seizing more power for the cause."[break][break]

AS THE MEETING DRAWS TO A CLOSE, the feeling of being watched can not be shaken entirely. The ceiling blinks at them. Vestiges of The DRK Triad's Unown spell out Father Winter's last message: a kindness granted to Team Rocket—perhaps in part due to his toxic affection for mint frost—for the League possesses another text.

"ahaha, a grand reward for our foxy boy!" Monroe says. "you can work and lead among my boys with me! considering your feats and your power, they'll fall in line for you in no time, gahaha!"[break][break]

From across the table, Monroe brandishes his fingerguns at the Admin. Though there is no smoke from the barrels of his indexes, his smile is wide enough to fit several cigars.[break][break]

"we share our failures. that is for certain." Walsh says. "but do not grow soft. do not take that as an excuse for repeated blunders. for the health of the herd, you cull the weak, do we not?"[break][break]

A dreadful pang overtakes the building. Unease spreads from the center of the room, pushing outward into opposite sides like a body splitting itself apart by grasping for grapes.[break][break]

Around the Pokemon Center, sclera can be seen shifting across torn wallpaper and chipped countertops. These UNOWN do not answer to Naomi Sato and instead, answer to the disembodied voice that mint frost would instantly recognize.[break][break]

"warring against us? oh, i like that! some conviction! some drive! don't hesitate, oh mighty team rocket! seize us by the throat and don't let go!" Father Winter's voice echoes. "wow... it's so convenient when our targets walk right into our hands. pressed right against the wall for our barrels."[break][break]

The voice swoops in close to mint frost's.[break][break]

"isn't that right, my little songbird?"[break][break]

Then to Naomi Sato's.[break][break]

"isn't that right, thief?"[break][break]

As the embedded eyes flicker about like haunted lights, the voice speaks one last time:[break][break]

"we're all headed toward the end, you know? almost at the point of no return. unless you and your people willingly bow your heads for our blades. just know that it's not just you against us. it'll be you against all worlds! remember that!"[break][break]

The eyes fade, and along with it, Father Winter's voice.

THIS "EVENT" IS NOT IN A RAID FORMAT. There may be no battles at all. After all, these meetings are opportunities for Rocket's higher-ups to mingle, express opinions, and assist with shaping the direction of the faction. Though there will be "moderator posts", these threads largely live by the interactions and decisions made by writers and their characters.[break][break]

You are encouraged to have characters ICLY DISAGREE with each other and conflict even though they are a part of the same faction.[break][break]

Although DISSEMINATE III is exclusive to canons, the consequences of this thread diffuse into the wider cast of characters. Furthermore, canon characters are granted opportunities to weave in non-canons into their stories from new hooks, new inspirations, and/or revitalized or reaffirmed conflicts, themes and relationships.[break][break]

Participation in this thread is NOT MANDATORY for Rocket canons, but an absence requires IC JUSTIFICATION. Furthermore, there are no sign-ups for this event. Your sign-up will be your first post in the first "round". Please include THREE POKEMON that your character is bringing in your first post. Again, there is no guarantee that they will be used.[break][break]

ULYSSES MONROE BECOMES AN EAGER WOLF at the sound of another incursion. Oldale, Rustboro: these towns remind those with Kantonian ties of the triumphant and violent expansion then.[break][break]

However, Walsh glances at Monroe and the Kanto Boss resumes some level of composure.[break][break]

"general harcourt is right. stay your bloodlust, but allow your sanguine desire to flow past your fangs." The Boss glances between Shred, Jayden, and the Pokemon gathered around. "decisions in regards to the mainland will be made in due time."[break][break]

After Lulu Flint's briefing, Walsh grants her a delicate nod of approval. However, it is her subsequent volunteering that is met with more celebration. Monroe claps his broad hands.[break][break]

"count me in for the distortion world. sounds like a roaring good time!" The Kantonian Boss cackles and brusquely pats THEO BECKETT on the shoulder. "lead us in when it's time. if we're tracking the rifts, then no doubt the league is tracking them too. i'll make sure our guys can keep your expedition from going inside out."[break][break]

The conversation shifts. Walsh's gaze shifts too, his cold crescents sliding between howard slayte, his outstretched hand, and Zev Harcourt.[break][break]

"hm?"
