Though some may question the capture of this creature of ruination, Walsh would rather the CHIEN-PAO be under Rocket's care lest the League capture it for themselves. But he does not voice such an opinion. After all, jayden cross must now walk his personal journey with the beast alone.[break][break]

"consider this meeting adjourned," The Boss says to the Underbosses. "examine the cave, secure sootopolis' perimeters and search for the birds. let us hope that they did not cause harm to our city on their way out."[break][break]

There is much reason for fern delaney's TAPU KOKO to be curious about the Galarian manifestations. As Fern is dragged by Marza Volchitsa, the deity from Lesser Megalopolis ponders the birds' creation, for it has detected a similar feeling from their abrupt flight: that they all "do not belong".[break][break]

"beast frost, if you were able to procure a recording of today's events, please upload it onto our servers for analysis." The Boss says to mint frost.[break][break]

The CAVE OF ORIGIN is still riddled with TERA CRYSTALS. Over time, Rocket goes to work chipping away at the obstructive pieces, continuing the work of the EARTHQUAKE unleashed by Head Scientist Amor Rose's Pokemon.

SOOTOPOLIS & THE CAVE

HOWEVER, MORE ALARMINGLY, Team Rocket would soon discover the effects of their IN-TACT VIOLET BOOK. Investigation into the extremities of CAVE OF ORIGIN by Rocket's higher-ups would reveal a DYNAMAX POWER SPOT glowing ominously within its bowels.[break][break]

However, more alarmingly, upon leaving the cave, Team Rocket would soon discover that SEVERAL POWER SPOTS have manifested all throughout the SOOTOPOLIS CRATER, jutting out from white stone. Quickly then, would Naomi Sato realize she would have to deliver the book away from the TERA CRYSTALS in the cave in case it creates more. The glow of the book reminds The Boss of a recent acquisition from ROUTE 120:[break][break]

"we have a glowing petal we have recovered from the grounds surrounding the tomb on route 120. i wouldn't be surprised if it were related to the book in your hands, head scientist sato. we can commence study on it too."[break][break]

Those guarding the meeting (parker jones, priam conrad, onyx straub and Tempest Quinn) would be able to reunite with the rest of Rocket's higher-ups. They would have witnessed the sudden materializations of these POWER SPOTS all throughout Sootopolis.[break][break]

Perhaps these are new toys as Amor Rose has suggested, or perhaps, they are dreadful omens glowing ominously through the gray smoke of Zev Harcourt's cigarette. Maybe one day, these blemishes—or gifts?—will be reverted...

VERSUS JAYDEN

AS ADMIN jayden cross IS OVERCOME BY CHIEN-PAO'S POWER, many of the syndicate's higher-ups launch into action under Boss declan walsh's command. However, the order may not have been needed, for it becomes abundantly clear that hesitation could spell the end of their lives.[break][break]

In this enclosed space, made more claustrophobic by encroaching crystals, maleficent emotions clot the air. The Rocket Boss watches alongside Grigori Sokolov, who defends him against the snowstorm and collateral debris. His DARKRAI holds a swirling dark sphere: a DARK VOID readied for the most opportune moment, one where no one else would be slept.[break][break]

Initially, some like Cillian Quinn, mint frost, THEO BECKETT and fern delaney attempt to protect jayden cross, or at least, they attempt to minimize the damage of his aggression. A SHADOW HOLD, a GRASS KNOT, a HEAL PULSE, and an ELECTRIC TERRAIN wrap around jayden cross; however, the SNOWSTORM's cold is sharpened by hatred.[break][break]

Some like Marza Volchitsa and bryan delarosa, engage in hand-to-hand. Marza Volchitsa slams fern delaney with a GET-YOUR-SHIT-TOGETHER PUNCH to clear the path for an enduring bryan delarosa, while Grigori Sokolov's SCIZOR strikes his MEGA-EVOLVED GRIMMSNARL. bryan delarosa attempts to strike jayden cross directly. Unfortunately, the SNOWSTORM and swords complicate close quarters combat. Cillian Quinn falls under the effects of jayden cross and CHIEN-PAO'S BOND. In midst the chaos, the two clash with their fists.[break][break]

Fully armored, Zev Harcourt rushes in. He weaves through swords as he absorbs light. Several TERA CRYSTALS are damaged by Amor Rose's EARTHQUAKE in the process, but these crystalline structures are difficult to chip. What light is released from them is also absorbed alongside any residual light from the ELECTRIC TERRAIN overridden by Elisabeth Fiorelli's BARREN TERRAIN.[break][break]

As a SWORD is shattered by Zev Harcourt's tendrils, Elisabeth Fiorelli's FIRE TERASTALLIZED WO-CHIEN uses RUINATION on the CHIEN-PAO. BARNABY FINCH's STEELIX'S STONE EDGE entombs it for the attack to land successfully... However, the CHIEN-PAO feigns helplessness. It allows the attack to harm it some to add to the believability of its performance. It must join its ruinous kin under the facade of eventual surrender.[break][break]

The CHIEN-PAO takes the FIRE-TYPE TERA BLAST, and then the SLUDGE BOMB from mint frost's WEEZING. As smoldering sludge slips from the feline's lithe body. declan walsh and his DARKRAI launch their tranquilizing attacks. Both jayden cross and CHIEN-PAO fall asleep, the former's body ravaged with injuries.[break][break]

"hm. wake him up." The Rocket Boss says, his DARKRAI readying another DARK VOID in case jayden cross remains aggressive. "but remain cautious. even if the cat is asleep, it's possible that cross is under its influence."

PROMPT

IN THE FOLLOWING ROUND, jayden cross may wake up on his own accord or be awakened by his allies. When he wakes up, he will no longer be in a frenzy; however, he still feel that he is connected with CHIEN-PAO. As the injured CHIEN-PAO sleeps, the Pokemon will allow itself to be captured by jayden cross. declan walsh will approve of the capture.[break][break]

When the CHIEN-PAO is captured, Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN will be pleased.

THE VIOLET BOOK

IN MIDST THE CHAOS, Head Scientist Amor Rose and Head Scientist Naomi Sato are able to procure the BOOK. The UNOWN-A manages to strike any stray ice or snow with its HIDDEN POWER before they can damage the tome. Through the tumult, Amor Rose manages to grab the book before passing it off to Naomi Sato... and before engaging in a frenzied bout with the Galarian-born Underboss.[break][break]

After jayden cross and CHIEN-PAO have fallen asleep and should Naomi Sato open the thick VIOLET COVER, she would find a full collection of the KINGDOM TALES sung from GOODBYE GALAR: RUSTED SWORD & RUSTED SHIELD. She would see drawings of DYNAMAX POWER SPOTS, other scenes pulled from that alternate Galar, and curiously, the depictions of THREE FAMILIAR BIRDS.[break][break]

Suddenly, the crystals broken by Amor Rose glow. The whole cavern shines and within that blinding luminescence, three massive avians emerge from thin air. A GALARIAN MOLTRES, GALARIAN ARTICUNO, AND GALARIAN ZAPDOS shriek as they attune to their new existence. Before anyone can act, they soar toward the entrance of the CAVE OF ORIGIN. BARNABY FINCH matches the intense gaze of the GALARIAN MOLTRES as it flies over the crumbling remnants of the STONE EDGE. Its sinister aura graces the man before they all flee.[break][break]

The birds smash through the TERA CRYSTALS obstructing the entrance, soaring past parker jones, priam conrad, onyx straub and Tempest Quinn before dispersing into the great expanse of the HOENN REGION.[break][break]

Suddenly, the cover glows once more. Within its center, surrounded by FOUR MYSTERIOUS SYMBOLS in the corner, an odd LIZARD-LIKE DESIGN inscribes itself. Unbeknownst to everyone, this occurs at the same time the cover in AQUA ASSEMBLY PT. 4 receives the mysterious lizard-like design too...

ONE STEP CLOSER[break]TO RUINATION

THE CAVE OF ORIGIN QUAKES WITH THE THROES OF WAR. As Team Rocket clashes with manifestations of their hatred, the resulting ruckus causes diamonds of light to scatter from the tera crystals encrusting the cave.[break][break]

Should Team Rocket's strikes make purchase, the conjured manifestations bleed. Viscera and bone squelch and clatter on the cave floor; such sounds are startling confirmation that these beings are indeed real. Some of these emblems of hatred may fall or fade, but they have accomplished their purpose: to conjure hatred within the hearts of those present.[break][break]

Some attempt to target the CHIEN-PAO itself. However, when their Pokemon rush toward the recovering feline, the manifestations attempt to block them. More manifestations swirl from the hostile energy of the creature. Twisted, disfigured humans with armors and swords stand to take the blows. It is clear that these humans are warriors of old.[break][break]

Some of them are torn apart by TERA BLASTS & FLASH CANNONS, while others are ravaged by FLAMES & FEATHERS. However, Grigori Sokolov's SWORDS DANCING SCIZOR manages to clear the remaining warriors, its claws dripping with the filth of its kills. While Cillian Quinn and THEO BECKETT attempt to ENSNARE THE CHIEN-PAO, the building HATRED from the party grants it an incredible boon. It is not trapped for long, but it grants Zev Harcourt's TYPE: NULL space to HEAL BLOCK; however, it is not a perfect nullification by any means.[break][break]

The CHIEN-PAO snarls as HURRICANE & SPRING WINDS surge around it. Through the cutting gales, the creature makes eye-contact with Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN... Discreetly, the snail's ability to conjure GRUDGES is exercised to fuel the HATRED the feline requires.[break][break]

Suddenly, any remaining manifestations disappear into the ether. The assembled hatred returns to CHIEN-PAO like a red tide. It senses its target: a man who is plagued by thoughts of weakness. A man disparaged by an Elite Four and Rocket defectors. The man who let Ashley Shepard go.[break][break]

The CHIEN-PAO breaks away from vine and anchor, lunging past the wriggling alien and the mega-evolved GRIMMSNARL. It pounces upon jayden cross and sinks its fangs into him. Not too deep for it to be fatal, but deep enough to inject the gathered HATE directly into the Admin's veins.[break][break]

FROST CRAWLS UP jayden cross'S LIMBS as the CHIEN-PAO curses the human it can manipulate the most... with its blessing. On the CHIEN-PAO'S BEHEST, the Admin grows hostile to the rest of his peers.

jayden cross's player can now ATTACK the rest of Team Rocket until he is subdued by the next mod post. He can use CHIEN-PAO and his newfound powers.[break][break]

Thankfully, this hostility will be temporary. Furthermore, jayden cross's inexperience with his powers and Zev Harcourt's HEAL BLOCK will cause him to perform less optimally.

The Rocket Boss finally manages to summon his Darkrai. The umbral specter emerges, its claw raised to cast a DARK VOID; however, the CHIEN-PAO is too fast to catch. Similarly, to use it on jayden cross this early may cost precious intel... should the powers not last.[break][break]

"do not hesitate to take admin cross down." The Boss says. "right now, it's you or him!"[break][break]

mint frost's recording would capture the deranged scenario: Marza Volchitsa fighting herself, the slain Amor Rose copy, the false Arceus... and A CURIOUS BOOK dislodged from dripping ice thanks to Naomi Sato and Elisabeth Fiorelli's FIRE-TYPE TERA BLASTS... Which begs the question, how did a tome find itself here?

VERSUS CHIEN-PAO

THE CHIEN-PAO IS A RELENTLESS FORCE. Its presence alone is enough to disarm everyone and their Pokemon of their defenses (ABILITY: SWORD OF RUIN) by lowering concientiousness in favour for hatred. Though Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN may be able to counteract the feline's lethal strength with its ability, secretly, it dampens its own power for its fellow ruinous legend to do its work.[break][break]

Across cavern stone, walls, and snow banks, Team Rocket engages with CHIEN-PAO:

  The Chien-Pao is struck, but swiftly breaks free of the trapping waters by freezing and crushing the iced Whirlpool.
• Marza Volchitsa's CORVIKNIGHT uses STEEL WING on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  The Chien-Pao and Corviknight clash in the air, their wings and swords clanging violently in the cave before the feline lands on a ramp of ice it creates.
• Zev Harcourt's GENGAR uses POISON JAB on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  The Chien-Pao parries the blow with its blade-like teeth, revealing to Zev that it is smart enough to avoid poisoning by defending with metal.
• Amor Rose's DRAGONITE TERASTALLIZES to STEEL-TYPE and uses IRON HEAD on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  Amor would notice that his Tera Orb is drawing energy from the cave itself. The empowered Iron Head strikes the Chien-Pao, sending it skidding toward the cave waters; however, as soon as its paws touch the water, it turns to ice for the Chien-Pao to skid on.
• mint frost's ABOMASNOW uses AURORA VEIL in SNOW on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  The Chien-Pao swings its fangs toward the Abomasnow with SACRED SWORD, but the AURORA VEIL is able to prevent the Pokemon from fainting.
• Grigori Sokolov's SCIZOR uses SWORDS DANCE.[break]
  
  The Scizor lifts its fighting spirit as it tracks the Chien-Pao's moves.

Yowling, the Chien-Pao discharges a flurry of swift skin searching ICE SHARDS. The attacks seem to focus the humans in the room, rather than the Pokemon...

• bryan delarosa's XERNEAS uses PROTECT while he heals Naomi Sato, jayden cross, Amor Rose and Zev Harcourt with his Avatar abilities.[break]
  
  As Ice Shards crash upon Team Rocket, the Protect assists several of Bryan's allies. Healing is made.

Through the snow and ice encasing the Cave of Origin's walls, BARNABY FINCH's Ninetales' HEAT WAVE scythes right through. Steaming rivulets of water reveal an unusual discovery: tera crystals have infiltrated here too. When mint frost is thrown across the cave by bryan delarosa after his vindictive attack on the man, he may land near or against a tera-crusted wall too.

fern delaney, who scrutinizes declan walsh's every move, would notice that the man's expression is flat and unchanging. With stoic visage, the Rocket Boss swirls into a geyser of smoke before rematerializing behind Grigori Sokolov to catch him in mid-air. The Boss says nothing, but as the CHIEN-PAO leaps toward him, both Fern and Grigori may notice his blank expression twitching as if he is fighting the hatred swelling inside.[break][break]

Thankfully, THEO BECKETT's BAYLEEF and its AROMATHERAPY grants declan walsh with a thin threshold to resist for now... and anyone else who is able to partake in the Pokemon's sweet and spicy aroma.[break][break]

However, the Chien-Pao manages to lunge toward declan walsh who carries Grigori Sokolov in his arms. The blades cleave at his back, smoke billowing from where he is struck. The Boss and Grigori land on the cave floor—or are caught by Grigori's empowered SCIZOR (RYSA's choice).[break][break]

• Naomi Sato's UNOWN-A uses HIDDEN POWER, while BARNABY FINCH's NINETALES activates DROUGHT (SUNNY WEATHER) and uses HEAT WAVE on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  The Chien-Pao's SNOW fades though mint frost's AURORA VEIL persists. The feline leaps over the Heat Wave and Hidden Power, forcing it to reroute its path. However, the Heat Wave helps to melt some of the snow and ice...
• jayden cross's DOUBLADE uses Z-MOVE: JUDGEMENT to break defenses and inflict PARALYSIS.[break]
  
  The attacks from Nomi & Barnaby force the Chien-Pao into the direct path of the Z-Move. Hissing, the Chien-Pao is paralyzed.
• Kaname Fujihara's G!SLOWKING uses TRICK ROOM. fern delaney's ✨TAPU KOKO uses NATURE'S MADNESS on Chien-Pao; Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN uses RUINATION on Chien-Pao.[break]
  
  The Paralysis and Trick Room slows the Chien-Pao enough for the devastating attacks of Tapu Koko and Wo-Chien to land. Briefly, it seems like the feline is finally downed...

However, before the feline can be subdued, the cave glows bright. The TERA CRYSTALS around them exude a blinding radiance that briefly stuns those who behold it.[break][break]

Around the Chien-Pao, manifestations of everyone's hatred suddenly come to life, appearing out of thin air. They surround the feline as it attempts to RECOVER.[break][break]

The Rocket Boss releases Grigori should he be against him. With a hoarse, pained voice, he says, "seize that pokemon at all costs. it is far too powerful to roam free, let alone be at risk of falling into the league's hands."

PROMPT

CHIEN-PAO & TERA CRYSTALS' INFLUENCES have coalesced together to conjure twisted forms of everyone's hatred. Like Paradox Pokemon, should the manifestations of your character's hatred be a living being, they will be slightly different than their original selves.[break][break]

The manifested hatred may be a representation of something abstract as well. You may be creative with this. You can think of new ideas for what your character hates other than the ones previously mentioned in this thread.[break][break]

"many reasons. at the time, we did not have many political inroads in hoenn." The Rocket Boss says. "additionally, it was a personal request of boss monroe's: to hand down his position to dahlia goode. though his choice came suddenly, the man is a bigger enigma than me admittedly."[break][break]

"i will lay the responsibility of finding a way to control necrozma upon beast harcourt's shoulders... if that is a burden he is able to bear." The Boss says, eyes gliding from Beast bryan delarosa to the Necrozma Avatar. "despite your reluctance beast delarosa, should necrozma become our ally, be prepared to empower it should such a process ever be advantageous to us."[break][break]

In relation to legendaries, declan walsh elaborates upon the status of YVELTAL. He goes on to explain that YVELTAL has returned to THE BORDER in order to oversee the balance of life and death within the region. However, The Rocket Boss is now uncertain of which faction it is allied with, if any.[break][break]

"no interview will be necessary, amor. mixing your personal squabbles with rocket agendas will only create further mess of your reputation." The Rocket Boss says. "the dissemination of misinformation must be done carefully and organically. but do not forget your fire when crossing paths with the league on the battlefield. i expect you to finish the job with Melody Miro of the elite four the second time around."[break][break]

"before we decide between mossdeep or dewford as our next acquisition, beast frost, underboss cillian's idea of spreading falsified intelligence about an attack on pacifidlog can be prepared... alongside a red herring offensive on the town admin cross has suggested. striking while one of their avatars are weak will be pivotal."[break][break]

An almost-smile emerges on the Boss' face, though to call it a smile would be a far cry. He pulls a pokeball from underneath his cape and tosses it to Kaname Fujihara. "we were able to procure the deoxys from decker before his departure. i can grant you temporary access to it while you find a way to coax the other out."

NOTE: Kaname Fujihara can place the DEOXYS (NORMAL FORME) into his PC for the time being. please choose the moveset like a gachapon pkmn. deoxys can replace one of the pokemon Kaname Fujihara had signed-up with.

"as head scientist fujihara and underboss beckett has stated, dewford is quite far with a pest protecting it. yet, the more rifts we control, the better it will be for our resources." He says, referencing Admin fern delaney. He catches Marza Volchitsa in the corner of his eye. "we will have time to decide. do not fret beast volchitsa, your patience for violence will be rewarded soon."

AND INDEED MARZA IS REWARDED. The CAVE OF ORIGIN suddenly dips into frigid temperatures. From the bowels of the cave, a howling wind of frost surges forth alongside a wave of snow. Ice crawls across the cavern walls, freezing stone as it spikes into violent peaks of crystalline ice. Vaulting across the subterranean avalanche, a CHIEN-PAO snarls, wielding its broken swords.[break][break]

The attack comes as a complete surprise. The cavern had been thoroughly inspected. Every cave lake, tunnel and dead end had been cleared of threats and yet, this creature of ruin has been able to infiltrate their exclusive assembly. Furthermore, should Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN and CHIEN-PAO witness each other's presence, the two would betray little of their wider plan and act antagonistic to each other.[break][break]

After all, they must bide time for TING-LU to carry its dangerous cargo.[break][break]

The ICE SHOOTS OUT OF THE CAVE OF ORIGIN like a violent geyser. It interrupts parker jones and priam conrad, but somehow Grigori Sokolov is tossed back inside the CAVE OF ORIGIN by luck of position and by the attack's force.

THE ROCKET BOSS LISTENS QUIETLY, HANDS LAYERED OVER THE HANDLE OF HIS CANE. He scrutinizes the behavior and physicality of each character. With his silence, he allows their opinions and personalities to expand in the stillness of that space.[break][break]

The cave grows chillier. Like jeweled arpeggios, the chiming of droplets falling from antediluvian stalagmites is a persistent countdown.[break][break]

"allying ourselves with maldacena is a risk, but we have witnessed their willingness to play both sides in the cloud." The Boss sets the cane against the table. "the next time we encounter them, we can broker a deal. our resources for their knowledge."[break][break]

"continuing to foster allegiances with sources of power will undoubtedly pay dividends. if beast harcourt and head scientist sato can court necrozma and the unown to our side, would it not follow that maldacena too, will find a partnership with us more fascinating?"[break][break]

"we will take care of the good commissioner in time. we must do it carefully lest she become a martyr. as it stands, i do not see her lasting long. the league fights internally. the public continues to lose faith. this was planned for years, my fellow rockets. ulysses monroe, the previous commissioner, did well in handing over the position so hastily, after all, he is kanto's rocket boss."[break][break]

A FOUNT OF SHADOW rises from the end of the table as tendrils of the cave dark stream toward it. From it, declan walsh's stoic face emerges through the smoke and leads the rest of his dark suit into his seat.[break][break]

The Boss' gloved hand rests upon his cane's brass knob, its nickel finish catching the bluish luminescence of the cave and its waters.[break][break]

"i do hope we weren't having too much fun without me." The shadows subside, disintegrating into the blacks of his clothes. Like a scythe, his gaze cuts across the table and ascertains the presence of each conniver. "we have much to discuss."[break][break]

The cave groans. Winds caught within its lapidarian tunnels hiss and echo deep within. Running water trickles and clicks against old stone. Despite the dim of this subterranean abode, the mystery of this place is mythologically bright. KYOGRE once slumbered here. One may wonder if the leviathan originated from these cave waters, or if this place was the well of its primal powers.[break][break]

If so, this grotto was once latent with the possibilities of ecological disruption, the beginnings of Hoenn born disaster... But now, Hoenn disasters extend to the wider universe, stirring powers from all around the world, including those scattered about and/or resting in Terminus Cave.[break][break]

"the league runs this region for now, providing hinderance and nuisance to our operations. yet such grievances are but impedimenta for our eventual triumph." The Rocket Boss says.[break][break]

He takes a pause; carefully, he delivers a message on behalf of his own superiors.[break][break]

"kanto would like to hear from you all personally. they would like to know what you believe to be is the gravest threat to our organization. do not shy away from answering. the league offers much reason to hate them after all."

DECLAN WALSH CALLS UPON ROCKET'S HIGHER-UPS FOR A MEETING. Much has transpired after the BATTLE OF DEWFORD/ULTRA DEEP SEA. With the SEAL STONE in Team Rocket's hands, glimpses of the universe's timeline have been granted by way of THE RKS SIMULATION. Within it, THE DRK TRIAD & ARCEUS' motives hide... Though Team Rocket grows, several desertions have been of concern, including the defection of former Galarian Ambassador and ZEKROM AVATAR, Remiel Calcifet.[break][break]

Furthermore, some may worry about the presence of RUINOUS POKEMON such as Elisabeth Fiorelli's WO-CHIEN, powerful forces that may threaten to bring about the entire destruction of Hoenn.[break][break]

The meeting is held within THE CAVE OF ORIGIN. Away from prying eyes, Team Rocket plots their next move.

THE SETTING

A THICK SHROUD OF SHADOWS obfuscates the entrance to the CAVE OF ORIGIN. Only those who have invited, Team Rocket's higher-ups are allowed passage through the umbral thicket. Some security is stationed outside of the cave's mouth. However, the shadows swell from cave as intimidating reminders of a DARKRAI'S PRESENCE.[break][break]

Rocket Boss declan walsh HAS NOT ARRIVED YET. Unlike the League there are no snacks. No coffee. After all, to drink and dine within such a hallowed space would be sacrilege...

SECURITY

SHOULD onyx straub, priam conrad, Tempest Quinn, parker jones and Grigori Sokolov DESIRE, they can make a SINGLE POST of their characters guarding the entrance to the meeting.[break][break]
