Gloss was such a powerful foe. Genny's lips curving upwards into a smirk. She really was enjoying this duel between girlies. And what with Desi's stomach giving the rumblies, Genny would happily smile back.[break][break]

Gordo was able to get the GYRO BALL, the cotton candy storm of the AROMATIC MIST was enough to confuse them. Cotton candy? He gets out of ball form to eat. To chomp. But as he tries, his little armadillo tongue holds nothing. Weiiiird... "You know, come to think of it, it has been storming a lot more lately," Wonder why that was... Rubbing her face, Gordo still attempted to eat, until realizing that no, he has to battle. "Gordo! Back to it! Spin dash!"[break][break]

The little green armadillo makes one final attempt! With a quickness to spin dash and get going, he thrusts forward in an attempt at a ROLLOUT one more time, this time, to smack through any psychic energy blocking him, and go right for the noggin![break][break]

The MAX GEYSER blasts Gordo back, the geyser itself something the small armadillo isn't expecting. Is this how the pressure always felt different when the DYNAMAX was on the other foot? Genny can't help but feel cornered.[break][break]

But cornered doesn't mean it's over.[break][break]

"Speed up, and blind'em!" Attempting to blind the big chungus electric mouse, Gordo spins into the sand of the beach arena repeatedly, he attempts one helluva SAND ATTACK. Pocket sand time.[break][break]

It came down to a split-second, but Gordo is able to blast upwards and outwards out of the hole, but not without the earthern might of EARTH POWER attempting to hold him. Without SAND RUSH, he lacked speed. BUT.[break][break]

Big but. Genny calls out. "Spin."[break][break]

Gordo begins smack into the closed off section, repeatedly. Draining that stamina as he slams and slams like a basketball, spin dashing back and forth, until-[break][break]

Like a pinball, Gordo flies outwards. And lands, at the ready. Only to see... oh. He'd already won. With a beep, the armadillo races over towards the Shaymin to help the little hedgehog up.[break][break]

"Great fight!" Genny says, now next to Noel as she holds a hand out. "We have to go again sometime, yeah?" Big grin, ear-to-ear!

Gordo is shrunken now, and sees from the dust kicked up that no, the Machamp Syah did not in fact go down. With a squeak, the now-tiny Sandshrew would begin to quickly spin into a ball, going for a slapshot with a fastball! SAND RUSH plus a little ROLLOUT made for one fast curve ball![break][break]

Hopefully it'd be enough. If not? This was going to get nasty, really, REALLY quickly![break][break]

Ah. Genny's face is pink, heat on her ears, as she giggles mindlessly, wobbling in place as she looks down. Ollie got to see her in her outfit? That was a huge confidence boost. "Hehehehe..." She wasn't sure how to take the compliment, but the way she wobbled on her feet made it seem positive?[break][break]

Gordo, on the other hand, watches the TRAILBLAZE come at him, and the Sandshrew's eyes widen, as it collides with his balled-up form.[break][break]

"You looked great in your suit too." If Genny could float, she would be.[break][break]

Gordo, now staring this foe down, attempts to go in with a GYRO BALL! If Genny isn't paying attention, it could really cost her...[break][break]

Genny can't push the pedal too far to the metal. She can tell there's no making up fully all that speed she lost. Genny's face riddles with sweat. She doesn't want to lose, but she accepts what happens if she does.[break][break]

First place is too far ahead for her to get to, and second place is too. This was their element, and though Genny got back up to speed, one slip-up could cost the whole match. Just like the early one.[break][break]

Now was the time to make-up for lost time. It might make the last leg of this race nigh impossible, but they needed to get back in control, even just a little.[break][break]

"Uzi. One more time. I know you have the stamina. Please." The Vaporeon, breathing heavy, takes the nod, and during this homestretch, comes the last QUICK ATTACK he can manage. After this, it was all a case of if time could be made up. They needed to get ahead of Josh.[break][break]

"I believe in you." she smiles, and closes her eyes.[break][break]

Seeing DESIREE BLOOMS definitely makes things a little better, that FLORAL HEALING doing well to keep Genny's spirits well and up. With the group doing their best to make the structure of the bridge, and keep it up keeps her more and more at ease. It sucks seeing her getting hurt, but she seems to shake it off. Yuina Higashi too, is doing her best to get that bridge done, and with Elise Calcifet helping to craft the bridge, the redhead feels more and more confident.[break][break]

And all is well, until Yuina finds herself grabbed by an arm, and Genny's face drops. "YUINA." She's quick to rush, throwing caution to the fucking wind, her hazel eyes panicked as she gets closer. "LET HER GO. I.B-" Her Camerupt disappears, and Genny releases Zagreus, hopping aboard to speed up. Faster. FASTER. FASTER. COME ON COME ON she throws her hand out and-[break][break]

Gone.[break][break]

She watches, as Yuina is thrown into the dome, head on, and falls limp. And something in her snaps. Her gaze hardens, and she hops off of Zagreus. She can see her friend still.[break][break]

Her gaze turns to Kyurem, and she grows quiet. A hand outstretched. The storm of war begins to boil. And she calls out towards her Heatran. "The legends are too dangerous. Earth Power on the Kyurem," Her gaze is cold, as she turns to Zagreus. Fury built inside her. "Flare Blitz in tandem. Incapacitate it. If it dies-"[break][break]

"-so be it."[break][break]

Zagreus does just that, letting the LIFE DEW wash over her, as she clinches her fists in fury.[break][break]

Whoa, what?! That SEED FLARE broke up the sandstorm? This guy was something else, and as she grinned at him, all she can do is respond.[break][break]

"We can't wait to see how you both flip the script then!" Confidence surges, and Genny pumps her fist up. Gordo wasn't able to get by unscathed, but...[break][break]

Where was he? The field was empty, once the sandstorm ended.[break][break]

In truth, Gordo had already been digging. Digging, digging, and digging some more. "Now!" Genny calls out. And from below that Shaymin, came the DIG finisher, if Gordo can land the hit.[break][break]

Genny eyes the Abomasnow, and she can't help but grin. She had one too. But this match-up wasn't the best one, not for her. But, she had the best knowledge of how to handle Abomasnow.[break][break]

Guy was cute too! Precious, and the way he seemed like a celebrity... well, this fight would be fun for them both.[break][break]

If only she knew who he was. "Likewise. Name's Genny."[break][break]

Still, with Gordo at the ready, once the match is called to begin. and with it, Genny gets the party started. "Sandstorm, and rush him." Thing about Abomasnow, Genny found, they worked best if they controlled the weather. So Genny wouldn't give them a chance.[break][break]

With the immediate tiny SANDSTORM, Gordo began to SAND RUSH him with a ROLLOUT, speeding fast, speeding loose, and fast enough to get a speeding ticket. All to slapshot that Abomasnow in the noggin.[break][break]

Just a moment's hesitation. Gordo's strength faded. The moment those claws shine that dark purple, as they charge into one another, Gordo would falter, the GYRO BALL too weak.[break][break]

And with it, though they collide, as Gordo bounces off, the Sandshrew could feel their energy reserves emptied. The little armadillo shaking left, shaking right, and then... COLLAPSE.[break][break]

And as Genny returns the little armadillo, she looks towards the Absol, and just... smiles. "Thanks for the fight," she starts, and gives as big as smile as she can manage for the moment.[break][break]

"And take good care of her." Her eyes prick with tears.[break][break]

She missed Ebony. So much.

It... it was over?[break][break]

Genny's hazel eyes shot open, disbelief. Gordo, in one fell swoop, hurt by the EARTHQUAKE, was shot out with enough pressure to land the DIG! Gordo would land on his feet, right on the outside, the armadillo breathing heavily.[break][break]

Only to go up to Serizawa, and move to help him up. Gordo seemed to have a tiny kinship to the little Larvitar. He wanted to help.[break][break]

Genny, walking up quietly, and giving the Larvitar a quick berry on the ground, eyes Howard.[break][break]

"I think it'll work in the end. The tournament bond and all," Genny starts off, petting Gordo now, who was busy trying to fan the little Larvitar awake. She tries to give him a smile. "Thanks for the battle!"[break][break]

She still had no idea who the guy was.

Have you ever seen a giant armadillo getting the literal guts punched in by a massive four-armed monster?[break][break]

Even after the Mega-Evolution, Genny's eyes are vibrant, happy, excited! The way the Machamp comes back, to give Gordo hell for the strike done to him, the giant armadillo was winded, and could feel the air quite literally pushed out of his lungs. But as the Sandshrew felt himself close to falling over, he would grab the arms with his big meaty armadillo arms![break][break]

"QUAKE!" Genny roars back out!, as the Dynamax Sandshrew jumps, intending to slam the Machamp into the ground with a MAX QUAKE... as the Dynamax finally fades once the attack goes off![break][break]

Wow. That Froakie sure was made of stern stuff. The redhead can feel herself staring, jaw dropping, as Gordo fell for the feint, only to get blasted away by a HYDRO PUMP, thrown back into ball shape, as it blasts the poor little armadillo into a wall... and with it.[break][break]

The match ended. Genny would return Gordo, quickly moving across the field, to make her way to Cian.[break][break]

"Guess I got my work cut out for me, huh?" Big, toothy grin, she holds her hand out towards Cian, to shake it and wish him well. "I look forward to the real battle with you, Mr. Maher!"[break][break]

So her record wasn't spotless. That was okay.
