The stage is set for fifteen. This time, after Genny had finished her whole day of fights from people like Eva Morales just earlier, to the morning starting with Lasciel Elis, Genny was exhausted. But the fight cam happened to land on her for her enjoying her night, and a curious opponent. Seeing as Gordo was busy eating cup noodles, an unhealthy obsession for the little armadillo, Genny would see him happily nod at the ready. Still the energy to battle.[break][break]

Can't just very well not fight now, can she? Moving onto the concert stage of Lilycove, and brushing off her shorts, Genny's hazel eyes look on. They had a crowd, and a big one.[break][break]

"Don't go easy on me, Ollie. I'm not the same broken up girl I was last year." Now her words oozed with confidence. A lot of it, too.[break][break]

Holding up her Dynamax bracelet and putting it on... she goes to her corner and readies up.

Fourteen.[break][break]

Night time is definitely a great look for Lilycove, and after the long day of nine matches from last night, it's nice to take it easier. This was her last one of the night. And this one was absolutely a special battle.[break][break]

Because this one, Genny had gotten into the same massive indoor arena she had earlier. Another trip to the little restaurant, and as she enters and sees another free spot, like how she went up with Elise Calcifet before... she takes the stage now once more.[break][break]

"I'm up again!" People could eat food, and watch the duel play out. Genny's hazel eyes focused forward. Was anyone going to challenge her for a good show? "Loser buys dinner for the two of us." she adds on the stakes.[break][break]

Gordo the Sandshrew rolls around, spinning into the lovely sandy battlefield. The people clapping for the little green armadillo.

Thirteen. This was getting old hat now, but the arena was much different this time. Much like yesterday, this battle would take place on the beach of Lilycove. If it were summer, some folks might have been using the courts for volleyball. Instead... this was Genny's terrain of choice.[break][break]

Walking on up, and checking her watch, she looks to the sunset. The orange wash over everything making a picturesque fighting arena. Now just for any takers.[break][break]

As Genny crosses her arms, as someone eventually does take the stage. And Genny grins. "Hello! Nice to meet you! Name's Genny." she holds a hand out, with Gordo jumping onto her shoulder, to try and get in a thumbs-up.[break][break]

"Don't go too easy. You're looking at the next Hoenn champ."

Twelve.[break][break]

Genny's gone through the ringer today. Eating food, and enjoying some good ol' Pokemon battles, this Vital City Tournament was a great lesson in practice. It gave her styles of combat she wanted to keep to, and made her learn the importance of each fight. How to use Dynamax properly, how to use the surrounding. Gordo's tactic was strong with SAND RUSH. But she knows she can't always rely on the sandstorm.[break][break]

In the midst of an alleyway, there seemed to be a more back alley arena. And there, she felt her heart pound. Something told her to move. To take the scene. "Will another challenger come and fight? Come now?" said one of the background announcers, and Genny fights her way forward. Fists clinched, as she and Gordo walk.[break][break]

"Me." she calls out, Gordo mimicking her point back by pointing at himself, the little green Sandshrew nibbling quietly on what looked like popcorn.[break][break]

The sun sits lazily above everyone... awaiting for Genny's challenger to come from the stands, the audience. For some reason, she feels a need to battle here.[break][break]

Call it a little fate.

With a fist upwards, as soon as Gordo expands in mass, the green Sandshrew mews out, at the coming of the king's hammer. The DRAGON HAMMER, a powerful strike that pushes Gordo back an inch. Genny and Gordo though? Unperturbed, at least. It looked that way.[break][break]

Thankful for the stamina increase from DYNAMAX, Genny points towards the Pidove. "Make those rocks fall, Gordo!" And wouldn't she know it, Gordo was already on it with that MAX ROCKFALL coming down with the relative force as it could, kicking up that sandstorm.[break][break]

Oh yeah, this tactic was doing well in the tourney so far.[break][break]

Things were going well, and despite dealing with the ROCK SLIDE, Gordo was able to take it in his massive form, and dish it back cleanly. As soon as the Lycanroc jumps upwards to get airborne, Genny takes the idea nd runs with it.[break][break]

"You heard her, give em the rocks!" In return, as the Sandshrew throws his head back and bellows out, the cascading rocks of a MAX ROCKFALL come in, beginning the sandstorm whipping around them.[break][break]

With the agreement on food, Genny smiles wide. "Sure! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" It'd be nice to get a bite too, after their match. A little workout in the morning never hurts anyone.[break][break]

And with that agreement, and a Lycanroc of her own, Genny returns her Sandshrew, and immediately goes in for a Dynamax, expanding her little armadillo, into a big giant.[break][break]

"Let's see what you got then." With the match about to begin...[break][break]

Her eyes half-lidded with a little confidence in her smile, she calls out. A different tactic than normal, due to the opposing Lycanroc.[break][break]

"Quake!" And with her yell, came in the MAX QUAKE, to keep that pupper on their toes.[break][break]

Genny chimes out, and waves back towards her opponent. "Just Genny is fine!" But upon seeing that little Shaymin rolling to mimic Gordo, her hands are on her face, red, with big shining eyes. "SO CUTE!" That Shaymin was the most adorable little thing she'd seen! Immediately she feels herself approaching them, and petting them, if allowed. She was in love.[break][break]

Finally, able to peel herself off, with Gordo even patting the Shaymin too for good luck, Genny heads back to her respective corner.[break][break]

"Good luck!"[break][break]

Gordo is returned, and with the massive ball in hand thanks to the Dynamax bracelet, she throws it behind her with a pitch, before the massive monster armadillo explodes out, proper-sized.[break][break]

"Start it off like all the others, and cover the field in rocks!" yells Genny, who watches as Gordo begins the onslaught of rocks with a MAX ROCKFALL, starting the sandstorm and covering the field in the ballistics.[break][break]

"I didn't, but you looked uncomfortable with it!" she's grinning ear-to-ear now. Even if, this was a test to show what she and her little buddy could do together. So...[break][break]

As Gordo races and zips towards Queen Zing, he sees the POISON JAB coming, before slamming upwards, intending to do a very fast ROLLOUT upwards to smack the queen bee on the chin.[break][break]

"I haven't had enough battles this way, and Gordo could use the practice, so come at us! Gordo, kick it into high gear, and show her the smackdown!"[break][break]

Gordo, flying in the air even if he doesn't hit his mark, attempts to come down with a powerful GYRO BALL, making a very, very quick SANDSTORM before he gets too close, to activate SAND RUSH.[break][break]

In the mighty SANDSTORM, unbeknownst to Genny or Gordo, the duo watch a jetstream of water fire outwards in a HYDRO PUMP, thrust outwards and dead-onto Gordo, the redhead looking back to see Gordo taking the brunt of the strike.[break][break]

"Whoa..." she calls back, before turning her head back to the frog in the storm. "This is gonna be fun!"[break][break]

With a hand outwards, Genny calls out. "Quake!" It's the only command she knew it as, and with a MAX QUAKE, the Sandshrew blasts the arena below the Froakie, intent to knock them down and take back the lead.[break][break]

Eleventh match.[break][break]

Genny and Gordo had managed to get some lunch in a lovely little restaurant, watching a battle happen in the tiny little arena they had as she did. It looked so fun, and as their match ended, a small announcer would call out for another set of two from the crowd.[break][break]

The restaurant was big enough for even Dynamax, and with that in mind, a hand pulling the hat down on her head, Genny and Gordo finish their meal, and enter the ring.[break][break]

"My name is Genevieve Cromwell, the next Champ." Hazel eyes look vibrant, a big grin showing her pearly whites, as she points to herself.[break][break]

"Come at me."[break][break]

The announcer waited for a challenger to approach, the spotlight on Genny until they would enter...

New day, new her. Genny's stretching for the morning, and Gordo and her just get out of the Pokemon Center. Gordo was in top-fighting shape, and now, the two had some more rounds to win. Walking through the cloudy city, Genny glances around.[break][break]

So many battles... she's bright, bubbly, and enjoying what she sees when she comes across someone not in a battle... Gordo immediately hops out of her arms, and spins in his ball, tearing against the hardened cement at the ready.[break][break]

"Hey," Genny calls out, a big, happy looking grin over her glossy lips. "Wanna battle?"[break][break]
