Wowee, Lammy certainly knew how to use his birds, as the moment that DRAGON HAMMER hits on the noggin, Gordo was dizzied by the sheer force of impact. Once the bird disappears into that flurry of rocks, Gordo would turn their big head.[break][break]

Flying types wouldn't worry about Ground moves, so all that matters, is "Dodge and spike!" The armadillo, hearing his trainer, slams one fist into the ground, as the head would lower, hopefully able to get the mix-up with a MAX STEELSPIKE back to the birdy buddy![break][break]

Oh, this was something else entirely! Genny hadn't realize the next battle was against one of her fellow girlies, and the redhead is vibrant, starry-eyed as she hops in place. And the crowd is enjoying the show no less, as Gordo holds a hand to the Mismagius for a good match.[break][break]

"Let's have a good fight then, Elise!" she calls out, moving to her side of the arena... and before too long, returning Gordo, and activating her DYNAMAX to enlarge her lil'armadillo.[break][break]

Thanks to protective shielding in this indoor arena, Genny could let loose. "No holding back on me! I won't! Gordo, hit'em with the rocks!" Gordo, in turn, roars out, and begins to chuck the MAX ROCKFALL at Mana, intent to kick up that SANDSTORM for later! It was their go to strat! But she'd have to change that strat soon.[break][break]

Oh there was a stroke of luck for Lyca yet, because the moment those spikes had gotten out of the ground, the ACCELEROCK not only collides, but the Dynamax happens to end JUST at the right moment. And with it, the tiny armadillo took a direct hit, flying back and into the city streets.[break][break]

And Genny turns her head. "Oh wow. Gordo got some serious air..." Old term an ex-boyfriend of her's used from Alola. But turning her head back to Lasciel, she grins.[break][break]

"I gotta teach my Lycanroc that!" Before long, the smol armadillo begins to tear into the pavement with a SAND RUSH-POWERED ROLLOUT, intent to close the distance, and slap the pup back with everything he had![break][break]

Well, now that Noel promised that, it was over. Genny was getting a playdate for both Gordo and this Shaymin together, but for now, as he said. Time to roll out.[break][break]

A Terastillization?! Genny grins ear-to-ear. Yuina Higashi used that too! But she'll see if the little hedgehog can keep up![break][break]

Unable to fully dodge the blast of the ENERGY BALL, in retaliation to falling rocks, Gordo took it head on, blocking with his massive arms. "Keep trying your best, little guy! Gordo! Quake!"[break][break]

The next onslaught of the DYNAMAX? MAX QUAKE from below to get that Shaymin off their feet. Genny was curious to see how well Noel could utilize that Grass Terastilization. If it was anything like her match with Yuina, it'd be to the last![break][break]

Both the Dynamax and the Mega disappear, and with them, as the now tinier armadillo lands onto the ground, Gordo immediately spins into the dirt. That last NIGHT SLASH had winded him, but not enough to stop the advance.[break][break]

Battle wasn't over, and as the armadillo races forward, speeding with SAND RUSH, he attempts an immediately collision via ROLLOUT to hit his Absol foe.[break][break]

Now that the Dynamax was over, and the Absol was mostly okay... Genny breathes a sigh of relief.[break][break]

The Mega Evolution was quick to throw Gordo and Genny both off, all at once. A sudden surge of power hit that Beedrill, and Gordo's response was clear from the sudden tailwind, as was Genny's; two hands on the ears, the pain excruciating.[break][break]

Now that they hit the same speed, it was a matter of who was faster, but if Genny can't talk to Gordo, then winning is forfeit as is.[break][break]

Gordo turns, and sees Genny make a hand sign, pointing to the eyes, with Gordo understanding. Spinning quickly into the dirt, Gordo intends to kick up a SAND ATTACK to blind the Beedrill, before coming in with a ROLLOUT. If he can get a clean hit, then Mega won't matter.[break][break]

But the way Genny's matches have gone so far, was that they slanted near the end. As they did with kyle lopez earlier.[break][break]

More rocks? Genny watches the... was that a Z bracelet? She'd only heard of those, but watching was something else. The Lycanroc was infused with power, meeting in turn the big MAX ROCKFALL in turn with a move of their own, and Genny's haze eyes stared in disbelief.[break][break]

"Whoa." Her jaw was dropping. Even if it seemed Gordo had it, the sheer power output had left the armadillo a little panicked. But as Genny smiles brighter, she turns to the girl, unperturbed.[break][break]

"You gotta show me how you did that after this! Like this, right?" She strikes the same pose again, knowing it wouldn't do anything for Gordo. Who, in turn, made the last of their typical strat with MAX STEELSPIKE, a barrage of steel spikes coming from the ground, coming after Lyca![break][break]

The FELL STINGER would meet its mark, only to have the GYRO BALL smash down through it, pushing Queen Zing with Gordo, as they begin again their now faster, SAND RUSH ROLLOUT, as they sped around in a quick circle around Queen Zing, to stir up the sand.[break][break]

Time to see if all that training paid off. With the quickness of the balled up Sandshrew, they attempted a quickened barrage of five ROLLOUTS in succession, each from different angles to make the queen bee guess. They'd need a miracle to get out.[break][break]

Man this battle was ROUGH. That big SMACK DOWN does more to Gordo than the Froakie, and the redhead can feel Gordo taking the rough end of it. These fights really were something.[break][break]

Not to mention, that insane optimism that Cian had only made Genny grin more. How the heck can someone match the sun with another equally bright sun? This weather was nothing. Nothing at all, and as Genny pumps a fist into the air, she calls back.[break][break]

"Good to hear! Here's one to remember us by then!"[break][break]

The last strike, the classic they had made in their three hit combo of DYNAMAX, was a MAX STEELSPIKE, the many little spikes on the ground shooting upwards to attack at the Froakie. The resilient little frog really was doing wonders.[break][break]

Genny's heart sunk lower, until the Mega Absol dodged and dove between and around the spikes, the redhead able to breathe again. The fear he felt was multiplied ten times over, but once it was over? She was a lot better. Unfortunately, that NIGHT SLASH had done worse to Gordo than Genny imagined.[break][break]

Best to throw it back then. "QUAKE!" And with it, as the last of the Dynamax went off, the MAX QUAKE begins to tear into the ground below the Absol.[break][break]

Genny shouldn't be worrying about their Pokemon right now.[break][break]

A little extra incentive to win, Genny can't help but pump her fist back the same way. With the Machamp standing at the ready, marching out onto the field, Gordo was now out of ball-shape, and with the shine of the DYNAMAX bracelet, Genny returns the armadillo, only to throw them into a giant behind her.[break][break]

"Alright, Gordo! You heard the doctor! Give that Machamp the first attack!"[break][break]

With a roar out, the Sandshrew fires up the MAX ROCKFALL, firing the massive downpour of those rocks to slap at the Machamp. The gigantic armadillo intent to hit hard, and hit fast.[break][break]

Genny practically covered the field in seconds, racing right to Yuina, and if permitted, clasping arms around her, girlyhug! It was so close, and Genny loved Yuina so much, so once she pulls away, she nods.[break][break]

"That's the plan! I'm gonna be at the top!" she cheers. First match, she felt excited to keep going. With one big grin, she moves to Daikenki, who Gordo was already patting down and giving armadillo hugs too. She scritches Daikenki too.[break][break]

"Hisui sure has some tough cookies, huh?" That Samurott, getting so close, should feel amazing after that. She can hope.[break][break]

A big sportsmanship handshake later, and Genny can't help but smirk wide. "I like a guy with confidence. But we'll see about that." But the moment she sees that Pikachu pop out of his backpack, there's a squee, as the Sandshrew, Gordo, waves politely to the little Pikachu.[break][break]

As they move to their respective sides of the beach, Genny DYNAMAXS Gordo, a massive armadillo at the ready. Electricity won't hurt Gordo, but, the thing is... this was a points game, less of a victory. So Genny had to outmaneuver Aaron.[break][break]

Therefore. First up? "Rockfall!" And with it, the barrage of rocks from MAX ROCKFALL begins to close the distance onto Aaron's Pikachu.[break][break]

With the sandstorm going off, the battle begins.[break][break]
