The happiest part of that bliss, is that it was Desiree who approached her. She was the reason she wanted to bring together a group of girls; their Girlygang. In a way, it was meant to impress Desiree. Another, was a showing of what Desiree made her feel. That moment in Pacifilog made her happy. Unbelievably so. And even in the swamps of Hoenn, Genny was happy to be in her life.[break][break]

So as the now tiny Gordo was struck by the DAZZLING GLEAM, all Genny could do was smile, a light red blush on both cheeks. A little heat. There's a little girlcrush in there, as she shouts back.[break][break]

"I can't wait! Let's eat at them all, Desi!" One of the first really positive friendships she ever had with another woman. And it felt so good.[break][break]

Now as for Gordo, despite being hit, uses the momentum to spin in the air. Thanks to SAND RUSH, the Sandshrew speeds away like a bullet, attempting its first ROLLOUT on Gloss! The Hatterene was wise not to underestimate him. Because even smol, the armadillo was a force to be reckoned by speed alone![break][break]

"I'm buying!" The biggest grin she can give to Desi. A warm feeling in her chest. Happiness.[break][break]

A friendly face! Wait a second! It's luka chêne! Genny's vibrant and bright, and so exuberant! She's friendly back, waving and jumping into the air.[break][break]

"Glad to see another girly here!" she calls back out with a grin... only to finally accept that she was called cute. The cameras would zoom into her embarrassment, rosy cheeks as she rubbed the back of her head. "Not as cute as you!" She's sheepish, and as Gordo comes out into the ring...[break][break]

She flashes her Dynamax Bracelet to show it off... but decides, for this match, to not use it at all. Much as she wanted to, it put a lot of strain on Gordo. So she puts it away.[break][break]

"Wouldn't dream on it though, Luka. Us girlies have to go all out!" With one flex of her arm to show a lean muscle, Gordo does the same thing from below, the shiny Sandshrew showing off the tiniest speck of maybe muscle.[break][break]

A hand out to Luka. The first move was hers, as Gordo waves to the Sylveon, moving up to hug them, before scurrying away.

Ollie gives his signature, the biggest, warmest smile that made her feel safe. That was what a Head Ranger should be. It was almost idolization. She loved that energy. So, seeing the Pikachu, she grins. She had one herself! Loved that little guy! Makes it worse when she sees a donut disappear into their mouth, and Genny's in love. A sweet tooth![break][break]

Gordo begins to roll and spin dash his way to the ring, opening up just as he gets close, shake his head.[break][break]

Instead of going all out, she'd wait on Dynamax, for just a moment.[break][break]

"Sand." Genny calls out, the little armadillo summoning a SANDSTORM, before calling out immediately after "Under and over!" and suddenly, Gordo disappears into a DIG! Letting little Tofu guess where he's coming from...[break][break]

If he can catch Tofu off guard, he's giving him one heck of a bear hug as an attack![break][break]

It's this local little park in Lilycove, on the grass. This fountain sits in the background, and though its cold, the vibrant greenery is so beautiful here, that Genny and Gordo can't help but take in the fresh air.[break][break]

They'd been through so many battles. Admittedly, Genny and Gordo both felt a little tuckered out. Maybe they shouldn't have signed up for so many matches, or challenged strangers on the street... is what Genny or Gordo would have said or thought, if it wasn't so darn fun! And wouldn't you know it-[break][break]

Was that Melody Miro ? Okay. She had a chance to battle kyle lopez , CIAN MAHER , and lam logan , now was time to challenge an elite![break][break]

"Melodyyyyyyyy!" she calls out, jumping and waving in her little trainer fit, as she quickly jogs on her. Gordo follows behind, a tiny little smoothie straw in the shiny Sandshrew's mouth.[break][break]

Once she's close enough, she's coming for Melody. "Are you still looking for battles for the tournament? I've got a pretty good record so far!" She grins ear-to-ear! She most certainly did have a good record!

Genny's eyes would almost well up. That was one of her girlies, alright. enjoying every second of their match. If it were up to Genny, she'd be over next to Elise and giving her a big hug.[break][break]

An gesture from DESIREE BLOOMS, to her, and now to Elise, an expression of friendship, she makes a heart with her hands, and places it outwards to show Elise that no matter how this battle goes, she'll love her all the same.[break][break]

"Same here, Elise."[break][break]

Gordo tanks the ENERGY BALL head on, the little armadillo flexing so his gut takes the attack, the sphere of grassy energy smacked his belly, and Genny smiles. Back into it. Gordo can handle it![break][break]

Time for the counterattack! "Gordo, serve and spike!" Up comes the massive MAX STEELSPIKE, all towards Mana. A test of skill ever so gentle, to see if she can zip through the masses of steel spikes![break][break]

That went incredibly poorly. As soon as the first two turns came, it was going well, she could feel herself getting through, going faster. She felt so capable, and as soon as the third turn came, Uzi slams into the bank, and Genny's worry is immediate.[break][break]

"Uzi!" she cries, moving to rub the Vaporeon's head, who shakes it off with a bit of a daze. The little Eeveelution swimmer was disoriented, but takes the opportunity to shake his head, and go again.[break][break]

Though worried, Genny leans down and lets him take it at his own pace.[break][break]

She was dead last now, and that was a problem. She misjudged the timing of the last turn, and it really did throw her off.[break][break]

Genny doesn't like pushing Uzi, but Uzi insists. Again, attempting to put that distance back in, Genny watches him fly back to top speed, or attempt to, with a QUICK ATTACK. No way was he losing for his Trainer! And though Genny was hanging on, she worried for her little man.[break][break]

They HAD to make up the difference here.[break][break]

What was this bird made of, a jet turbine?! Gordo was getting frustrated! So much so, that the armadillo makes one screm upwards, intent to make the MAX ROCKFALL that came after enough to clip the Pidove's wings, if only stopped by Genny below.[break][break]

"Shake it off buddy, Pops can't handle what we got!" Genny's cheer cools the massive armadillo down![break][break]

With a bit enlarged nod from above, the armadillo conjures up the rocks, and attempts to, if nothing else, knock it into a barrel roll. Gordo's gotta make up that time! Only for Gordo's body to shrink compulsively and suddenly! Dynamax time? OVER.[break][break]

Reciprocating the heart comes the heart back from Genny, a dual-set of them from girly to girly. "You make it all the more fun, bestie!" She winks. Maybe Desi made her feel a little more girly... it was nice to have someone like her as a bestie, that much was for sure. Thankfully she had so many besties now![break][break]

Gordo just can't catch a break though! That MAX STEELSPIKE would do its damage, but the sinister giggles of this monstrous fairy had Gordo unable to dodge the MYSTICAL FIRE, leaving him scorched, as he winces in pain.[break][break]

Terastillization, huh? Genny needed to look into it if this happened next year. She already felt amped at the idea.[break][break]

"Gordo!" The armadillo would cry out, but stare at a worried Genny who smiles and nods. "Rock with Gloss!" And with another set of MAX ROCKFALL, keeping that sandstorm up longer...[break][break]

The Dynamax comes to an end. Gordo shrinks like crazy.[break][break]

Gordo makes his mark, and after that final ROLLOUT, the armadillo, shaking his tiny head, pokes out of his ball, splayed onto the ground. First match of the morning, this was tiresome. He wants food already! The Sandshrew's stomach begins to make the rumblies only McDonalds can fix.[break][break]

Genny, taking a leap and stride to get closer to Lasciel, holds a hand out to her, the match now decided.[break][break]

"Breakfast, right? On me!"[break][break]

Big, big toothy grin. A new friend indeed!

It still wasn't over yet, but it seemed all of the DYNAMAX Gordo did have slowed down Amabilia by a good deal. Though, the same could be said the opposite side. Gordo wasn't on his last legs, a thanks in part by the stamina DYNAMAX gave, but the Sandshrew was trying to keep his composure.[break][break]

The duo definitely were powerful in their own right, but Gerald was no pushover. By time the NIGHT SLASH connects, though not the cleanest hit, it does leave Gordo teetering closer to the fainting edge.[break][break]

For the first time, Genny takes a new strat.[break][break]

"Dig! Keep her guessing, Gordo!" And immediately, the armadillo begins to dig down... leaving the Absol to a silent arena.[break][break]

Now. All that mattered was timing. If Gordo could get the jump on this Absol, the match was Genny's. But it came at a gamble. A DIG that could set this match to its conclusion.[break][break]

Kyurem, huh? The frigid tundra was cold, but Genny's prepared for it already. Even late to the party, Genny's getting in on this. Riding upon the back of Inferno Baby the Camerupt, gifted by her girlie in arms DESIREE BLOOMS , Genny is... admittedly, pretty late for the job. But better late than never at all.[break][break]

Gunner Graves , paxton concordas , Elise Calcifet , Yuina Higashi , Kazimir Wynter , Desi, all of them are here already, it's about time Genny enters the fray too. Though she's on the ground, Inferno Baby gets in, a warm entity thanks to MAGMA ARMOR keeping her warm, but when Genny hops off her Camerupt, almost suddenly does a massive, massive chasm appear. and her eyes are laser-focused.[break][break]

"WHOA BOY!" she stops the Camerupt, sneezing as a little tiny horsie helps keep him from falling into that massive chasm. Poor Inferno Baby had a cold, couldn't see where he was going, but this tiny Keldeo was on it. Genny smiles.[break][break]

"Room for one more?" she calls out to Yuina Higashi , who seems to be making a path across, and Genny points over. "Rock Slide, I.B!" The Camerupt makes more rocks to assist in creating a bridge to get across.[break][break]

Girlygang watches out for Girlygang.[break][break]

When the Beedrill goes down, Gordo is able to get out of ball-shape, the judge calling for the match, as the armadillo lands on his tiny chest, splayed out. He was so dizzy...[break][break]

When Genny moved to sign the match slip, she responded in kind with a grin. "Thank you! Little bit of the gym grind, little bit of Ranger work over in Lilycove!" she chimes out, signing her name on the match slip itself, as Gordo gets himself onto his back to rest.[break][break]

"You? That Mega Evolution looked rather special, I can only imagine you're a Gym frequenter yourself!" she responds, holding a hand out.[break][break]

"You go by any nickname, or just Shalin?" she asks her new friend. "How about some lunch? On me."

Desi really was a bestie. Genny's face lights up. Even faced against the goliath that Gordo was, she cheered. And with that cheer, the Sandshrew blushes. But the fight had to go on![break][break]

The best way to describe Desi was pink. Just the color, in feeling, and in vibe, and with the way she fights, that's what Genny gets too, and the fairy would tremble. Genny decides to give the same courtesy. "I know you can handle it, Gloss!" She's smiling ear-to-ear.[break][break]

Luckily, Gloss didn't need the cheerleading schtick, because she began a barrage of her own to combat the MAX ROCKFALL; and that was SHADOW BALLs galore! Genny watched in excitement, as the ghost orbs smacked into the big armadillo, causing them to make a loud scream, a little bit of pain. OOF.[break][break]

Genny responds in kind. "Shake it off, Gordo! Serve and spike!" Gordo knew what that meant. With a fist upwards, he curves it downwards, the giant armadillo making a crater into the arena, and forcing out a barrage of MAX STEELSPIKEs.[break][break]

The whole time, she's giving a confident grin to Desi. It wasn't over till the last move was made![break][break]
