Ettie, for a moment, furrowed her brows as she mulled over Yuan's words. Did the two Rocket members really need the pearls? To the same degree that the Swinub did? There were plenty of other places that one could find a pearl, out in the ocean, anyhow! She found one with Pagu and Penny before!

The Grimmsnarl's less than pleasant response doesn't do much to persuade Anne otherwise, either. The wolf snarls - a clear threat to stand down or else.

"... No." Ettie soon decides, curling her lips back a little, baring her teeth in a fashion not unlike that of her Lycanroc's. But rather than growl and snarl...

... She'd throw her head back to howl.

One by one, a number of Howls rung out from Ettie's canid pokemon - either by their own innate ability, or through use of Copycat. The pack was whipping one another up into a readied frenzy, taking the initiative in a loud and proud fashion.

And with this, Ettie drew one of the blades of the Doublade kept sheathed at her back - and pointed it towards the group. "Drop pearls." She repeats her demands, sliding down from Anne's back, the two advancing together.

Oooh; what was this? It was a little pod or something - and it looked as though something was inside of it... But Ettie didn't wanna open it up, while still out diving. She'd check it out later for sure, though, it looked neat!

No, that wasn't quite right, either - Ettie was starting to get an idea of how the tricks she was attempting were supposed to look; but actually following through wasn't always the easiest. She was still trying, however, like the dedicated pup that she was.

The next find was not unlike what she had found closer to the start of this little trip; something flat and round, although this one looked a bit different from the other one. A perfect add to the building collection! Ettie was gonna have a whole new pile in the den, when she got home.

But of course, not everything always goes to plan. Sure, this time she didn't crash into the waters - but she wasn't able to quite get the trick right, either. Ettie pouts a bit as the Mantine splashes back into the waters a bit more roughly than intended; but oh well. She can always try again!

Oooh; a pretty stone! It wasn't really anything special - it was legitimately, just, a pretty stone. But it was smoothed out, and with a bit of polishing Ettie was sure it'd shine even prettier in the light! A good find indeed, in the wildchild's mind.

Ettie practically howls with joy as she goes through the trick once more - eyes alight with enjoyment. Okay, yeah, she was getting good at this she was pretty sure! And when there were people watching that seemed to enjoy this, too? She wanted to go again!

And third try's the charm! Ettie whoops with delight as she manages to pull through with a trick, giggling gleefully as she settles back into the Mantine's saddle. Maybe she was getting a hang of it? She wanted to try that again!

Oooh! A big shiny! Ettie holds it up triumphantly, as she emerges to the surface with a sizeable pearl, giggling with glee. This was really pretty - a prize addition to her collection! (Or crow's hoard, more like.) Once it's secure with the rest of her pack, she wastes no time in diving again - hoping to find more.

And much like before, Ettie is sent into the drink - it was tricky, staying atop the Mantine amidst their twists and turns! She was impressed at the people who could do it, really. She is stubborn - or perhaps more accurately, just having a good time regardless - here, however; quick to settle back into the saddle.

Oooh... This wasn't a shard - but it still was pretty to look at in the light! Perhaps this would be a good addition to the collection, then? Having enough air to go a little longer, she'd continue searching the depths - though Ettie would pocket her latest find. There were so many cool things, down here...!

As it turned out, having experience on riding canines, Dewgong, Primarina, and the like didn't mean she had experience with Mantine. She'd splutter a bit as she ended up getting a faceful of seawater from a particularly big wave...

... But, eager to persevere, she'd adjust her grip on the saddle, before going right into the next trick!

Ettie giggles, as she surfaces with a shard in hand. What was this? She didn't have too much of a clue, but it looked pretty! She leaves it with the rest of her pack for the time being - but is quick to dive back underwater with Aurien, in the hopes of finding more!
