The sound of others behind her had finally caught up with the girl, was Sonikku spun around after jumping in her skin at the surprise. A party of three would face her...or that thing behind her. Either way, one person's pokemon would flutter over and help tend to her currently pained hand. She fussed about while one of them spoke to her. The teenager nodded in response quietly while the little fairy type would work its magic. Her sleeves came to her eye quickly to wipe it free of any tears before facing the strange one eyed man. "Never better! Thanks you for helping. I'm Sonikku, semi-pro racer, y'know, kind of a big deal!" she said with her usual peppy attitude. Now that she wasn't dead alone inside of these dark ass caves, there was nothing to fear! Well, besides the darkness and all. At least now it would be pretty bearable. "I got separated from my partner when we got sucked into one of these holes. Then we ended up in these caves. Have you seen a Gengar running around?...Huh?" She felt a tap on her shoulder while Sonikku spun around to see...a scary face!

"WAAAAAUGH!"

Another shriek came from the new face as she fumbled back from the spooky face. Behind her, a fairly large Gengar would rock back and forth while laughing at the blue haired teen's misfortune, her fear turning to anger as she stomped over and would shake the grinning ghost type. "Dusk, you little...Don't ever scare me like that you, you dumb cute little trickster!" The Gengar snickered to herself but would join the girl in her relived hug. The man that had gone to get ice would return back as the girl met him halfway and would immediately get the ice on her hand. There wouldn't be time to rest though! "Spirits, huh? Sounds like a job for you, Dusk! Let's get ready to help out!" The Gengar would stand at the ready, hovering in front as it would let out a pleased cry.

Vanessa hopped back aboard Snacker, paddling over towards Josh as she'd look at the little Mantine bumping into Josh. She quietly watched, her mismatched eyes bouncing between Josh and the other Pokemon. It was a little heartwarming to see that despite the little guy being wild, he had a history with Josh. After being faced with the choice of tagging along, the Mantine would bump into the pokeball and join Josh's crew. "Huh, did you guys know each other or something?" she asked, "It looked like you two knew each other." Her answer came but her eyes locked onto another Pokemon over yonder. "Ahhhh! Lookit that Azumaril! I'm gunna catch it!" she puttered away towards the Azumaril on the shore while Sonar followed by her.

"Just like last time, Sonar! Catch 'em off guard with an Air Slash!" The Noibat let out a happy screech and fluttered over towards the Azumaril before launching several highly pressurized waves at the the pokemon, slamming into it Pokemon as it spun around to face the flying bat currently attacking it. The water mouse would rear its head for a moment before then aiming to slam into the Noibet. Thankfully Sonar was agile enough to avoid it outright instead of just sitting and taking it. "Atta boy, Sonar! Now WIng Attack it!" The Noibat screeched out and sliced into the Azumaril like the last foe, tackling it away as Sonikku tossed a pokeball out and smacked into the Azumaril's side. Enveloped in a red light, the pokemon retreated inside of the ball and all was well.

The girl's eyes were practically shining! Her heart was racing, the wind was blowing her hair back! This was the greatest race she's had in the longest time! "Yes! YEAH! PUSH IT FASTER!" she laughed to herself while facing back to watch as Simba and Josh would be gaining on them as she'd lean over to Dusk while in his saddle. "Alright, Dusk! Ready for launch?" She'd unhook a Pokeball from her waist and hold it with her right hand while hanging over Dusk's reigns as the Gengar would swirl around, catching Sonikku in her tongue while quickly rolling it back into her mouth. The Gengar's face took aim forward as it would spit the girl out much farther away. Curled into a ball, Sonikku was shot into the air, flipping back and forth before she'd tossed out her Staryu as the pokeball hit the ground before its owner. Its saddle was an aquatic blue, with it appear more like a normal saddle. The Staryu rotated in a 360 degree turn on before Sonikku had a rough landing in the saddle and grinned, waving at Josh as she had shot through a considerable amount of distance from the trick. Dusk was actively catching up while the girl would clutch the handrail tight.

"Alright, Brine! Just like we promise! RAPID SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAUGH!!!!"

The Staryu's rotation would go faster and faster as it soared across the road at speeds faster than any riding Pokemon should have allowed. Sonikku screeched in a mixture of thrill and terror as her body flailed about, still holding onto the saddle with all her might. But then came a warmth to her neck as she blinked and then...she was somewhere different.

"Guh?..."

She awoke on her back in the middle of some field, having blinked just once. The moment she could feel herself again, a sensation of pain shot up and down her back. "Ah! That hurt..." She held her torso up to see the path of destruction she had taken in crashing. A part of the white fence had just come off completely as a Sonikku sized hole was in front of it. Some unlucky Milktanks had been taken out by her barreling through, as some would be mooing out and a couple looking thoroughly upset at the sudden attack.

"D-Did I win?"

Man, Shalin seemed even more wild than Josh! While the former racer in front of her was pretty fast, he was the type of guy to take it easy and follows rules and do more of that goody two shoes stuff. But Shalin? She's was a wild child at heart! "Whoa! She's riding a Beedrill? That's wild! I totally gotta meet her now! You're like wild, but she's way off from wild!" The teen rocked back and forth with Dusk as the two would be waiting for Josh to get ready. The two would stuck their tongues out at him in unison before then getting pumped and ready to get going. "Ready to eat my dust, Dust Eater?!" All it took was a small kick and Josh and Sonikku were off, soaring down away from Oldsdale Town. The girl cheered happily, as Dust would just juke and jive across things. She was already pretty large, so Sonikku only really had to just hope over the tops of fences and things that she couldn't clear while on top of him, a pretty easy feat to perform. But of course, her sore body did cause some familiar bits of pain to shoot back up. After a while, Sonikku would be pacing next to Josh with a devlish grin. "Wow, you're just as fire on the track as you are on TV! But I'm straight up FIRE!" she yelled, kicking Dusk's side as the Gengar would increase his speed, turning around to wave his elongated tongue at Josh and Simba before taking off in front of them.

"Thanks, dude!" Sonikku said as she'd be ready to bounce on up on Josh's Typhlosion before too long, only for him and the Manectric to be recalled. A look of being let down was clear as day on her face, but it didn't stick around for too long! Now they'd be going swimming and doing a bunch of cooler stuff. It sounded pretty dope, and it would be a chance to see what other water pokemon there were out here. He sent out two water types, a Dragonair and a Sharpedo. Of course, Sonikku being Sonikku, her eyes immediately shot towards the fastest option. "A Dragonair can swim and sly? But it's only get those little leg things. How's it gunna do that? I hope you're super fast, Snacker!" The girl said while getting ready to bounce on up to ride him before she'd catch sight of a big blue...thing in the distance. She pointed at in and grinned, "Lookatthat! I'm gunna go catch it!" and then tore off with Snacker.

The object in question seemed to be some kind jellyfish. It looked like a Tentacool's bloated body with an air balloon. She snickered to herself, leaning forward. "Hehe, but a weird lookin' water type. Bet you'll be good for some flying lessons though! Dusk come and-" she spun back around, looking at Dusk as he waved at her form the beach. Sonikku groaned, covering her face. Right, he was just chilling. Poor girl couldn't swim despite being a ghost. Which left the racer with one option. "Rise and shine, Star-!" Before Sonikku could throw out Starmie, one Pokeball would come alive and activate itself as it formed into a Noibat that fluttered just above the water's surface. "Sonar?! I didn't call you! Ugh, fine! But just be careful out there." It let out a brave but startled screech before the jellyfish would blast the Noibat with a blast of water. Thankfully the Noibat would dodge and spin back towards Sonikku as she'd smile at him. "Yeahhhh! Wing Attack 'em, Sonar!" The baby would swing towards the Jellicent and blast them with a condensed air attack, sending the jellyfish away. Sonikku took out a pokeball and swung it in both hands before tossing it towards the Jellicent. The projectile smacked it in the head before it would be forced into the ball and with a click, the job was done.

"I'm gunna use it as an air balloon!"

Okay, so maybe just going ahead and trying to get a head start on things was a bit of a bad idea. Sonikku would have wandered inside of the cave a bit before through another entrance hence why the girl was currently wandering through this heavy and hot ass cave. "D-Dusk?!" she called out, sprinting deeper and deeper inside of the cave as her heart beat was picking up as she continued to stumble through the cave. "This isn't funny! Where the hell are you!" Her eyes bounced around in some kind of effort to see through the darkness but all that surrounded the teen was darkness. A sudden impact caused her to stumble back and onto her back as she looked up to see brief flickers of light dancing across the way. Something was in here with her! She scrambled back up onto her feet and then off back into the darkness.

"WAAAAAAAUGH!" she cried out, hyperventilating as she closed her eyes and took off inside of the tunnel system, just blindly taking every turn as her heart felt as if it was trying to be ripped out of her chest. Her feet sumbled on rocks or sides of the cave but she continued to run and run through the blanket of darkness. "DUSK! HELP ME!!"

She had been running for what felt like ages as the pain shot through both legs. The air cooled slowly as Sonikku had seemed to loop back around to some place other than this dark place. But without an exit in sight and running for what felt like hours, she reached a sudden break in the darkness as a source of light was present and glowing. FIguring it was some Pokemon on the hunt, ready to make mincemeat out of her, she'd try to swerve left after coming out but tripped again. The girl collapsed onto her legs after tripping and would just tremble, curled up in a ball as the teenager whimpered out weakly for her partner.

"D-Dusk! Please...I can't do this. Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me..." she repeated over and again, not noticing the sit up seal in front of her. After opening an eye to see why her demise hadn't come, Sonikku would stare at the strange thing, not noticing the party behind her. "Wh-What's that supposed to be?" SHe slowly picked herself up and would walk closer to it while extending a hand before a voice would cause her to jump, her hand making contact with the seal and...

"AUGH!" she recoiled, bringing her arm back as a fiery hot sensation greeted her touch. "Ahhhh! Hot!Hot!Hot!"

"Wow, I'm getting the VIP treatment today! I'd love to see all that and more. That food is gunna taste so good after running around all day, hehe." Sonikku was taken a bit by surprise as an Oshawott would be picking a fight with them. Josh jumped straight into work and would summon his Flygon before then it let out a loud revving noise that she covered her ears from. The Oshawott seemed to not enjoy it either as Josh tossed a Pokeball at it and that was the end of the fight. "Eh, no biggie. At least you didn't hurt it too much." she said before pulling on the reins and off they went!

They ran for a couple of more minutes or so and Sonikku had gotten her fill and came to a stop. "Alright! Now I wanna ride-" She stopped as the girl's eyes fell onto a wild Shinx that had approached out of the bushes nearby. It would stand on guard, having been busy growling at Dusk who was looking down at it and meeting its gaze with just as much ire. "Oooh, a Shinx! Looks like I'm gunna copy your whole line up, Josh!" That being said, the little girl was pretty cute like this. Maybe she'd like a little thing following her about? "Let's go, Dusk! Lick it!" The Gengar's tongue would elongate, stretching to make contact with the Shinx as it would shiver, paralyze. Sonikku pumped her first. "Got 'em! Now Hex 'em!" Dusk would summon a pulse of darkness from inside of herself, blasting the Shinx as it tumbled back. The teen popped out a Pokeball from her side. "Great job, Dusk! My turn!" She tossed it at the Shinx as its form would disappear inside of the ball and sound off with a click to signal the deal was made.

"Easy peasy!"

It was to be expected. A lot of people just thought that most of her Pokemon were going to be the standard 'mons everybody thought of when you side you were a rider. "I experiment a lot with Pokemon that normally don't see a lot of use in racing. If you want to stay ahead, You've gotta get a head start in the new trends and fads after all!~" Sonikku cheered, having enjoyed her little wisdom nugget before continuing. "I also have been training a Starmie that I've been training to race using Rapid Spin...But it's not going well. Oh, and my baby Noibat. He's not really meant for racing. Kind of skittish."

At the idea of going on a ride with Josh, her eyes widened in delight, those heterochromia irises big into to fill with pokemon food. "I'd love to! This is gunna be so cool! Riding with THE Josh Devlin!" She clapped, bouncing up and down in place before waiting for the man to collect himself. Once he was up and ready, Sonikku was already out the door and waiting for Josh to join her outsdide. Dusk would phase out of the ground in front of her while she adjusted his harness. A simple design, purple with a yellow handle and a piece that reached to the Gengar's waist for her to settle her feet into as to not disturb him. She was still so eager on Dusk that Sonikku grinned at the image of Josh on Simba.

"Looking good! Ready to go?~"

"Hehe, I just know what a hungry stomach wants more. After I get down with racing, I'm super hungry and just demolish a burger or three before passing out. One of the perks of having your mind wired like a Pokemon. But I'd love to see yours some time. Maybe we can see whose is fastest?~" She stuck her tongue out playfully while pressing a pokeball to her new Boltund's head as she'd be recalled into the ball. With a small nuzzle, Sonikku would stuff it inside of her hoodie with a grin. "Welcome to the team, girl. I'll get you all the food you can eat after we get back home." The girl walked back to the mounts, showering each with affection starting with praising Dusk for his speed and endurance, then to Saber and finally, Flint! She patted his head and stroked his sides as she tried to avoid the flames. "You didn't think I'd forget about you, did you?~ Such a good Typhlosion!"

Hopping back up on Manectric, she'd nod to Josh's question. "Recreational and some tournaments. I'm not semi professional like you though. I can hold my own, but I always mess up at 5th or 6th. And nobody cares about the people who place after the big three. I'm just happy to be going fast. One day I'll break the sound barrier and see what Hoenn looks like from the heavens. But for now, you're stuck with me~" she snickered before getting the reins back in her hands. "Let's go for a little bit longer before switching to Flint. Let's keep going though!"

Sonikku's eyes widened at the offer, the excitement in hers eyes able to be felt by everyone within the vicinity. Was this actually happening? Riding with THE Josh Devlin?! Ahhhh, be still her beating heart! This was the coolest thing anybody could ever do! "HOLYCRAPYESILLDOAGOODJOBFORYOUTHISISTHEBESTDAYOFMYLI- I mean... Y-Yeah, that's cool." She said, passing off her fangirling as she slowly climbed aboard the large Manectric and sat down in front of Josh. He might have a hard time seeing things around her wild head of hair, but she had grabbed the reins and felt the body of Josh behind her smaller one. She looked up at him and gave an elated grin before then lightly tugging on the reins for Saber. "Ready to go, Flint, Saber? Let's go! Dusk, follow behind us and see if you can keep up!" The party was off after a while, rocketing through the Route.

The reins to Saber were a bit loose fitting for Sonikku, but she was having fun. For obvious reasons, she wasn't pushing Saber as fast as he could go, but was happy to speed across the landscape. It wasn't until too long that another blur of thunder and fur would make itself known through the distance. "Hey! I think somebody's over there!" Sonikku pointed out, whipping the reins as she had the Manectric move towards the blur. It wasn't until they were a few feet away that it seemed to pick up on their presence and then quickly bound faster than they were. Her excitement was through the roof, the blue haired girl giggled to herself and pushing Saber to go faster. "C"mon! Don't let it get away!" The party bounces along as she looked over at Flint with a broad smile. "You're doing super good Flint! The fastest Typhlosion ever! Hehe!" She focused back on the object and would go about match its speed as they tried to tell what exactly it was. The blur of colors was speeding as fast as they were, but soon would begin to falter off as the yellow light suddenly died down. While normally Sonikku would have continued forward, her curiosity got the better of her. She turned them around to show down and see what it was that had battled them. As the ground came to a halt, Sonikku's eyes widened at what wwas in front of them.

"A Boltund?" She hopped up and looked over the Pokemon. The wild Boltund was panting, overexerting itself and was growling at her approach. It was a bit slender, large but most noticeably, thin. More than a Pokemon like them would be. "Poor girl...guy...thing. Here." Sonikku cautiously approached as the canine raised its head and bared its fangs as Sonikku stood in place and would dig into her hoodie before producing a large bag of chips. She cracked open the bag and would take a chip out before offering it to the canine. While in the right place, the girl definitely was emotional and didn't really think such things through, if this was any indicator. "Here. I know it's not Pokemon food, but it's something." The Boltund slowly got up, still panting while it slowly walked over to the chip and sniffed it for a moment before eating it wholeheartedly. Sonikku took out another chip and the cycle begin. After a few chips, she went to slowly stroke the Boltund's fur. "There. That's a good girl. I've got way more if you want to come with us." The Boltund, a bit fuller would bark in response, its tag wagging behind as she looked back to Josh. "Wanna keep going?"
