The winds were howling around them as the racers of today's tournament were out and about. Sonikku held on tightly to Faye, feeling the sensation of the blood rushing to her head as they overcame the first obstacles. While flying around, she'd swirl back on the Faye to face the racers behind her, offering with a playful gesture as she gave a cute pose and turned back around to go back to race mode. "Doing good, girl! You're gunna get so many snacks tonight if we win!" Just as they were celebrating their successful launch window, Josh would race by while the teenager would huff at the gym leader of hers. Her expression soured as she waved her first at the raven haired man.

"I'll make you re-eat that dust, Josh! I'm gunna Drag your Dragonite to night night time!" She screamed back, holding onto the Togekiss as their next obstacle was up next. "You got this, girl. Let's smoke these fools."

Aha, so her legacy did proceed. Vanessa flaunted her status for the group in front of her. The bundle of chaos that was this teenage girl, whose clothing was as orderly as a power station explosion, would look over towards the rich kid manchild (that she didn't know was currently one). "It's pretty hard to ignore the unstoppable force that is me, so I cant blame you~"

His one eyed friend commented about her races not really taking a more dangerous spin. While realistic and correct, it wasn't like she would ever admit that fact. Besides, she usually placed herself in danger with all of the shenanigans that the girl managed to find herself in. Sonikku exhaled, giving the man a pout. Even her plan about fighting back was just thrown out so casually. Cyclops here was a bit of a stickler, but he did have a point. Fighting the dead probably wasn't the best of her ideas.

"Well, at least we can run faster than them." She scoffed while the other white haired guy across from them would quickly jump into action with his Pokemon. The spirit tag would quickly go into effect once pulled out, but with some quick thinking, a knife, and a lot of skill, it was embedded firmly in the massive Golurk. As the ghosts would forget about the merry group of intruders and begin to surround the massive Golurk, everyone else would get their chance to escape.

"You don't have to tell me twice! Let's make like poison types and get the Muk outta here!" Sonniku said, running away from the swarm of spirits as everyone else would follow suit shortly after.

"No problem! We got this in the bag, Faye!" Sonikku said, hopping up and down on her saddle while the girl continued to eagerly get ready for the take off. At the moment of take off, the two of them soared into the lanes. Sonikku grinned ear to ear, shouting at the top of her lungs as Faye speed towards the upper path, aiming to focus more on her speed than handling. "Alright, Faye! Just like we practiced! Let's smoke these losers." The Togekiss chirped in agreement, with Sonikku putting her head down as she ducked behind the Togekiss, their bodies parallel to reduce the amount of drag on their bodies.

It was a great day for racing, with Vanessa feeling as pumped as ever. After a very good training course in prep for this event, the young rider was giddy as ever. Faye, the Togekiss that was slowly following behind her fluttered her wings every now and again. Upon entering the racing zone, she'd make a b line straight for none other than and puff her chest out in pride. "Don't worry, Josh! You're favorite rival has arrived~ Hope you're ready to eat my dust!" she cheered out and made small talk alongside letting have a chitchat with Josh before she had so rudely interrupted. SHe'd pal around and talk with the two of them as the chaotic competitor was eager to get ready and in the zone.

"Hopefully! Your girl's so strong! So fearsome! I almost wanna ride her!" Sonikku laughed to herself, looking back towards the site of battle. Kelpie was doing a fine job at packing a punch and kelping all over these mean little wolves. But the moon would come out as the howling started to increase. The Lyanroc had stopped assaulting the poor Wooloos now, content with going straight for the defenders. Kelpie came to a stop before Sonikku again, as the tiny rider watched what was happening with Regina. The canines lunging at their oversized foe in a pack. "She needs help! Good job, Kelpie. But it's time for a little extra muscle power." Her hand shot to Kelpie's pokeball and went to fetch Dusk's, recalling the water type and tossing out her Gengar.

"Get in there, Dusk!"

In a second, the large spectral mask of Dusk would hover above the field, letting out a devilish cry as Sonikku pointed at the ongoing melee across from them. "Let's help out Regina! Get close and use Dark Pulse!" The Gengar soon took off towards the fight of the Lycanrocs and T Rex, summoning a horrid amount of ghostly energy before letting out a ghastly screench around them, piercing the ears of the wolves around them. "Attagirl, Dusk! Now Shadow Punch" She gathered shadow energy around her fists, knocking the residual lupines off of the T Rex while the Wooloo beside Sonikku let out an eager cry.

"Any plans, Andrea? I don't think they're gunna retreat any time soon..."

Even just by looking at her, Sonikku could tell that this Shalin woman was super hyped up like herself. She leaned in as Shalin introduced herself as the wildest Pokemon rider. She sat her head on top of the bridge in between her thumb and index finger, grinning as wide as could be. "Wildest Pokémon rider, huh? I hope there's a spot for you after I snatch that title from you!~" she snickered to herself while observing the Beedrill in question. The first thing that caught her eye was the size. Like this was the biggest Beedrill ever. She'd need way more than a bottle of insect spray to kill this thing. The multicolored racer, rocked on her two feet as it would seem to want her to climb on. "Queen Zing? With a name like that, no wonder you're super big for a Beedrill!" The menace gently patted the side of her carapace before asked to introduce herself. With that trademark Sonikku flair, she'd strike a pose and then turn her back to the two. So dramatic!~

"Me? I'm the terror of the track, the warrior of the wind, the wayward wooloo w-ally..." The girl turned around, flashing a trademark peace sign and a little cute pose, sticking her tongue out for added effect. "The Soon-to-be Superstar, Sonniku!~"

The girl bounced back onto her feet while Shalin offered some of her Pokemon. Of course, she had various ways of getting around on the ground and one in the sky. But she wanted to test Josh's claims about Shalin were right. "A ride sounds awesome, Shalin! I'll take whatever you're keen on giving me! But we should get a move on. Those Mightyenas aren't gunna quiet themselves down."

It had been a pretty cool morning, just like any other. A quick breakfast followed by practicing laps around the track in order to train up for the upcoming minor league cup. But she heard her phone let out a soft buzz as a message ended up in her inbox. She flipped the screen to see an email from the person that josh had been talking about. Shoving it inside of her hoodie, Sonikku rushed over towards the meeting location with great haste.

She arrived a short while after Shalin had put her phone down and continued waiting patiently. The multicolored menace slid into the back of the daycare as smooth as ever, twirling around while presenting herself to the woman. "Hellooooo, partner!~" she snickered o herself, hands on her hips while showing off to the woman in green. "You must be that woman Josh was telling me about in he Rangers. Nice to finally meet you!" She looked over to the fence as her mood soured, furrowing her brows.

"That stuff with the Mightyenas is serious business though. We gotta make sure this doesn't happen again."

Snacker, evidently having grown restless of standing around, would suddenly buck and begin to coarse around as Sonikku would rock and fumble on the Pokemon. "Whoa, whoa! Easy, Snacker. Just take it eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasy!" She said, soon being rocketed across the water at high speeds. It was only by some miracle that Sonikku grabbed the railing just in time before take off. It was roaring to get back up to speed, SOnikku flailing around to try and get a better footing. Her stray eyes would catch a Whiscash surfacing as it all became too clear what it was doing. "Y-You could at least fling me off before going wild on some lunch!" It made contact, slamming into the attacking Whiscash as she finally found some semblance of stillness. Josh would come to her rescue, as the teenager would recover almost instantly, gently patting the Sharpedo. "That was awesome! I wanna go even faster next time, but just warn me, okay?"

On the way back, Sonikku would eye a poor Seismitoad that had gotten knocked out by the unfortunate timing of the waves being struck against the aquatic Pokémon. She tossed out a pokeball as it struck its stomach, capturing the Pokémon as they'd make their way over and regroup. It looked like it was to the skies now, as the two would get ready to start soaring across the blue skies. He'd introduce the two pokemon as Sonikku would gravitate towards Verte, showering it with affection. "Lookit you! I always loved FLygons' little cut racing goggles! Let's go!" she said to Josh, hopping up in the saddle.

Oh no! The lupines are going over to take the precious fluffies! Sonikku swung her head all around as the pitter patter of Wooloo feets were all around her. "Stupid Lycanroc! Go howl at the moon somewhere else!" She reached for her Pokeball before hearing the ground stomp beneath her. The woman she had just met had a huge T-Rex dinosaur pokemon?! "That's so freakin' cool! I gotta get me one of those." she told herself, then swinging her Pokeball onto the field as a Staryu would make itself known.

"Kelpie! Rapid Spin 'em!" The Staryu hovered in place, soon spinning along its axis and swirling around the field, bouncing into Lycanroc after Lycanroc as it banged around the field like a pinball. Sonikku even had to duck down and avoid one bounce that sent Kelpie careening out of bounds. The Poor Wooloos rolled away, fearing for their safety as the few caught up in the crossfire would cry out as a few stray lupines would sneak off with them. She spun around and pointed at one trying to make a get away. "Swift!" With a single "HYUUU!", the Pokemon was quick to launch a series of star shaped projectiles at the wolf. It yelped and dropped the Wooloo it had been carrying, the Pokemon rushing behind SOnikku as she smiled down and pet it.

"Don't worry, little guy! No wolf's making a midnight snack out of you while we're around!"

"I'll take good care of him, don't worry! I know how to go around and make sure the water lovers are all happy." Sonikku scoffed at Josh's words but would definitely take care of any Pokémon that he'd entrust to her. The teenager did listen to the tale of how Josh and the Mantine had gotten to know one another. The bond that could exist between Pokémon and human certainly was something beyond words! Sonikku had always thought Mantine were pretty cool, all those huge flapping water wings! After he finished, she's clap both hands together. "That's pretty cool! Glad you two could find each other again!"

But what really caught here eye was the demonstration of the Dragonair's capabilities of flying in the air. It brought a sense of awe to the young racer's eyes, thrilled to see something that she ad never seen before. "You weren't kidding! This thing could fly through air like it was nothing!"

"You can talk?!" Sonikku exclaimed, jumping in surprise as the fierce and terrible creature would speak up after her passionate and heartfelt speech about their confusion. A flashlight came from the cellphone they had been using to find their way here and "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD! You look so cute!" The girl smiled, dancing all around her costume and inspecting it from every angle. It looked like the coziest one piece ever!

"I want one! Oh, I just wanna crawl inside and fall asleep forever!"

While the two were busy understanding the confusion. a terrified Wooloo cry rang out from behind them. Sonikku spun around away from the intruder to face the flock of Wooloo currently rolling around in a frenzy. With the crowd going towards them, Sonikku would jump and rush to get behind the same cover that the other girl had managed to get herself behind. She'd huff, but look back at the sheep and frown. "It looks like something's got all of them worried. We've gotta find whatever's got them spooked and settle this thing. C'mon!" she called for the other girl, waving her over before starting to run through the fields in search of the disturbance. Whoever would cause these sweet babies such turmoil would pay!

Somebody had heard of her before! Her eyes lit up, dancing around Ozni as she gloated over her apparent fame and fortune with the other members of the group. "No way, you heard of me, for reals? This is like the best thing to happen today! It makes falling down that weird hole even more worth it!" She did another cool pose before her Gengar had spooked her, followed by the quick little spook Dusk had given her. After that, the leader of the group would approach, with Sonikku looking up at him and giving him a confused expression. "Not the safest place? This looks like most of the caves we run through. I've speen training courses more dangerous than this." she said, puffing out her chest and looking all proud and such as they announced a plan to get out of this place. Sonikku tapped her foot as she was referred to and paused to think about her route in here.

"Oh, I was really paying attention to how I got in here. But I'm sure finding the exit this way beats having your soul sucked out of you!" she said while looking back over to the encroaching spirits wandering inside of the cave. The racer looked back to the other people who had been planning their escape before going straight towards the first man who had recognized her. Totally. 100%. "Okay, actual ghosts is where the fun stops. Are we going cave diving again or are we gunna go fight whatever sent those baddies?"
