THE BORDER IS A MOUNTAINOUS PURGATORY OF MUTED SEPIA SMOKE. By floating islands, translucent bridges soar through the realm toward the heavens. Tall stone spires jut out from the spiritual mist. In the sky, the wisps of spirits can be seen heading toward their final destination before the afterlife...[break][break]

Curiously, there are four broken seals embedded in four mountains. Though Adrian Malcolm and YVELTAL may have seen their location upon their unceremonious entry, the spirit realm has shifted since their last visit, rendering each broken seal far apart from each other.

Once again Razz finds himself in the land of in-between. Or he supposes this place could be concidered some sort of Limbo. He didn't get to explore the last time round seeing how something had taken over Locke Jamison. Well several people really, but their identities were something he'd try to avoid as he follows the river up until he sees a waterfall on the east side of the mountain. [break][break]

He isn't sure what it is but he swears there is a heat there that semi feels like its calling to him. Or at least it feels like there is something there, as the heat reminds him of when the air changes when Reshiram comes closing in. So he is curious as he comes across the waterfall. Giving it a look up and down before he calls out a Seadra. [break][break]

The water pokemon using WATERFALL to counter the natural occurring one to create a split opening of the obstacle blocking the path.

Thomas recognized Razz immediately. The other two were practically strangers to the former member of Hoenn's Elite Four.

As the Reshiram Avatar's Seadra opens the way for them to get into the cave, past the waterfall, Thomas nods to Razz in thanks, before boarding his Hydreigon. "You two need a ride in?", he'd offer the other two.

Whether or not they took him up on his offer, his Hydreigon would fly into the mouth of the cave, before allowing Thomas, and any of the others who rode him in, to disembark.

As he got into the cave, he would immediately feel the heated air.

"Be careful, there is something extremely hot in this cave.", he'd warn the others, before turning on a flashlight, and continuing on into the cave.

The deeper he ventured into the cave, the hotter it got. That was, until he reached the source of the heat, the all too familiar broken seal. He had seen something like this on the cliffside, during his previous expedition. Though rather than the strangely bitter leaves left behind, the only clue as to what it was containing was extreme heat, radiating off of the remains of the seal.

"Whatever you do, do not touch the broken seal! Whatever it was containing generated some serious heat!", he'd call out to the others, hoping they'd heed his warning.

Okay, so maybe just going ahead and trying to get a head start on things was a bit of a bad idea. Sonikku would have wandered inside of the cave a bit before through another entrance hence why the girl was currently wandering through this heavy and hot ass cave. "D-Dusk?!" she called out, sprinting deeper and deeper inside of the cave as her heart beat was picking up as she continued to stumble through the cave. "This isn't funny! Where the hell are you!" Her eyes bounced around in some kind of effort to see through the darkness but all that surrounded the teen was darkness. A sudden impact caused her to stumble back and onto her back as she looked up to see brief flickers of light dancing across the way. Something was in here with her! She scrambled back up onto her feet and then off back into the darkness.

"WAAAAAAAUGH!" she cried out, hyperventilating as she closed her eyes and took off inside of the tunnel system, just blindly taking every turn as her heart felt as if it was trying to be ripped out of her chest. Her feet sumbled on rocks or sides of the cave but she continued to run and run through the blanket of darkness. "DUSK! HELP ME!!"

She had been running for what felt like ages as the pain shot through both legs. The air cooled slowly as Sonikku had seemed to loop back around to some place other than this dark place. But without an exit in sight and running for what felt like hours, she reached a sudden break in the darkness as a source of light was present and glowing. FIguring it was some Pokemon on the hunt, ready to make mincemeat out of her, she'd try to swerve left after coming out but tripped again. The girl collapsed onto her legs after tripping and would just tremble, curled up in a ball as the teenager whimpered out weakly for her partner.

"D-Dusk! Please...I can't do this. Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me..." she repeated over and again, not noticing the sit up seal in front of her. After opening an eye to see why her demise hadn't come, Sonikku would stare at the strange thing, not noticing the party behind her. "Wh-What's that supposed to be?" SHe slowly picked herself up and would walk closer to it while extending a hand before a voice would cause her to jump, her hand making contact with the seal and...

"AUGH!" she recoiled, bringing her arm back as a fiery hot sensation greeted her touch. "Ahhhh! Hot!Hot!Hot!"

What good was being rich if you didn’t use it to do cool stuff? Sure, he could go to the moon whenever he wanted, but this was a whole new dimension. And, it was the real deal, not that crap they fed you at amusement parks. So, someone had bribed someone, and here he was. Maybe he could get this place named after him one day: Adebayo’s Border.

Oz looked like a tourist. He wore a company-branded hat and backpack. There was even a designer fanny pack wrapped around his waist. This held a number of things he thought could be useful. A few coins dropped off Chippendale, a tube of all-natural lip balm, and a lockpicking set. Though he had zero idea of how to use the latter. Instead of a giant Kodak camera, however, his Porygon-Z levitated what seemed to be a GoPro beneath it. This took videos of the area and his party members.

It’d be a six or seven-part series on social media when he was done. The music rights were already cemented.

“I’ve never had a man ask me to ride his dragon before—” Oz winked at the former member of the Elite Four. “But I definitely could use the ride.” None of his Pokemon could carry him like that—minus the snowboard on the Gholdengo. The CEO was not full enough of himself to think he’d survive that. With a nod to the Porygon-Z, he climbed onto the reptile’s back. His stomach dropped as the beast glided down. His hands may have dug into Thomas’s waist at one point.

As he slid from the dragon’s back, Ozni would fish out a flashlight from his own pouch. This he would sweep about the area with a low whistle. “Would you look at this place?” It looked like a caveman’s interpretation of hell. “Wow. Someone really did a number on—” Before he could reach the seal (and completely ignore the warning), a teenager blundered into his shot. A wince emerged as he watched her whirl away with a tearful expression.

“Yo! Princess Lei!” The ‘necklace’ he’d been wearing revealed itself to be a Comfey. Her expression—mostly at the name—was the opposite of pleased. Even if after all six movies she did like who she was making a pun of. Floating over to the girl, it dropped a few petals on her head and hands.

“Feeeeeeeey…” She hummed. The pain would fade with the note.

"Think you can hold that?" Razz questions the dragon who seems to be find with it as @thomas uses thew chance to go forward. Part of the young avatar wondered if this group would fair any better against the spirits that roamed this realm. But surely it couldn't be worse than before right? He tries to have some hope as he follows into the cave afterward. That hope draining as he hears the fearful cries of a civilian. [break][break]

They really shouldn't be traveling to these places if simple things scared them. But to help the lighting problem Razz calls out his Litwick. The candle pokemon's magenta flame shining bright to illuminate the cave to allow proper light to see everyone present as well as the crumbling seal. [break][break]

"You doing alright?" Razz questions vanessa rosiello as the other's comfee attempts to heal the civilian. Training taking hold in wanting to be sure they were alright before giving into his own curiosity about the seal.

It was a miracle that Thomas didn't elbow the older man in the face. But his obnoxious behavior was enough to earn a good few dirty looks from the Kalosian.

"Ah, fuck.", Thomas muttered with exasperation after the teenager touched the seal. Thankfully, the older man proved to be of some value, and got to treating her burnt hand.

"I'll get you some ice for that hand", Thomas offered Vanessa, before making his way back to the mouth of the cave.

Giving Razz some time to look at the seal himself, while hoping that the other two didn't get in his way, Thomas brought out Colt, his Clawitzer. "Ice Beam on the waterfall!", he ordered.

The Clawitzer would blast the waterfall with a beam of ice, freezing it solid. The Hydreigon would fire off a Dragon Pulse at the waterfall, shattering the ice, which Thomas would collect in a bucket he had on him.

As he allowed ice to fall into the bucket, he would spot a group of spirits, seemingly marching down below. And it looked like they were heading in their direction.

Thomas quickly recalled Colt, headed back into the cave, hoping that Vanessa would meet him halfway.

"We got company! A group of spirits, and they're coming in fast!", Thomas warned the others, as he handed Vanessa the bucket. "Dunk your hand in this. It'll help", he'd tell her.

The sound of others behind her had finally caught up with the girl, was Sonikku spun around after jumping in her skin at the surprise. A party of three would face her...or that thing behind her. Either way, one person's pokemon would flutter over and help tend to her currently pained hand. She fussed about while one of them spoke to her. The teenager nodded in response quietly while the little fairy type would work its magic. Her sleeves came to her eye quickly to wipe it free of any tears before facing the strange one eyed man. "Never better! Thanks you for helping. I'm Sonikku, semi-pro racer, y'know, kind of a big deal!" she said with her usual peppy attitude. Now that she wasn't dead alone inside of these dark ass caves, there was nothing to fear! Well, besides the darkness and all. At least now it would be pretty bearable. "I got separated from my partner when we got sucked into one of these holes. Then we ended up in these caves. Have you seen a Gengar running around?...Huh?" She felt a tap on her shoulder while Sonikku spun around to see...a scary face!

"WAAAAAUGH!"

Another shriek came from the new face as she fumbled back from the spooky face. Behind her, a fairly large Gengar would rock back and forth while laughing at the blue haired teen's misfortune, her fear turning to anger as she stomped over and would shake the grinning ghost type. "Dusk, you little...Don't ever scare me like that you, you dumb cute little trickster!" The Gengar snickered to herself but would join the girl in her relived hug. The man that had gone to get ice would return back as the girl met him halfway and would immediately get the ice on her hand. There wouldn't be time to rest though! "Spirits, huh? Sounds like a job for you, Dusk! Let's get ready to help out!" The Gengar would stand at the ready, hovering in front as it would let out a pleased cry.

If Oz noticed Thomas’s glaring (spoiler: he did), no outward sign of it showed. The shit-eating grin didn’t move or waver. Though, if he knew he was the older guy, the CEO might have started sobbing. It wasn’t like he had grey hair or wrinkles yet! The idea that he was getting closer to the age-that-should-not-be-said was not something Ozni wanted to acknowledge. Hopefully, he conquered death before that hill was conquered.

When the Comfey finishes, she gives the young lady a smile. The injury already looks less severe. Before he can ask how she’s doing, however, the one-eyed man beats him to it. “Great job, Lei! Live that Tinkerbell life!” With that, she returns to her place around Ozni’s neck. His open high-five—meant to give her #praise—was completely ignored. When the girl introduces herself, Oz grins. “I mean I’ve heard of you, so you must be.” The dark-skinned man watched the Gengar approach with his best neutral expression.

The resulting spook received a giggle-snort in response as he buried his mouth in one thick hoody sleeve. When Thomas arrived, the dark-skinned man suddenly turned serious. That didn’t sound good. He shooed his Porygon down the tunnel, giving the viewers a quick view of the opponents below—his attempt to make this feel more real. “I’m not sure if spirits obey the laws of physics—” He’d only ever hung out with Mr. Make-It-Rain—Chip—before. And that walking pile of Bitcoin didn’t walk through a ton of walls. “But we could head deeper into the tunnels.” One hand gestured towards the tunnel where Vanessa emerged. “Numbers don’t matter as much in tight quarters.” Unless you were a panicked mob turning people into toothpaste.

“Find the other way out.” Blue eyes then shifted to Vanessa. “Wherever Speed Racer came from.”

Razz nods in greeting as he goes along with the small talk thinking it might help distract her from the pain in her hand, as well as whatever it was that scared the young teenager in the first place. "Sounds like a fun hobby, I'm Razz Kingsman a Ranger, you realize this is probably not the safest place to be right?" he questions her as part of him hopes that she wasn't here so recklessly. The fact that there was a partner did give him some hope until the prankster Gengar tried to startle the spirit right out of his trainer. Lovely, with the ghost pokemon being a distraction for vanessa rosiello Razz does take a look at the seal while his pokemon watch the silly exchange between the two. [break][break]

He takes a moment to examine the seal, noting the heat and how it actually felt different in comparison to Reshiram's flames. Though as he is examining and Thomas Benoit calls back about a group of spirits coming their way. Shit, is all he could think as Ozni Adebayo repeats about there being another way out. [break][break]

"Sounds good, I'll lead the way in case there is anything in front of us, Benoit can you watch our backs?" Razz ask as in his mind the other two are civilians and probably aren't as cut out for the dangers this rift has to offer. With that he would take the lead out and whistles for Salem to help lead the way and find the path out unbeknownst of the danger that was on the other side.

"Yeah, I'll watch your backs.", Thomas told the group, as he recalled his Hydreigon, and deployed his Ceruledge.

It didn't take the Soulmarchers long to reach them at all. The Ceruledge was ready to defend the party, ready to defend his master.

The duo would notice that the group of malevolent spirits seemed to be focused on Thomas specifically. It raised the question whether or not they were the spirits of Thomas' victims. The men and women that died by his hand under the guise of Wraith. Did they recognize him, and come to exact vengeance for their violent deaths?

What he didn't know, at that moment, was that it wasn't him they were after, but what he brought with him to the Border.

While managing to keep their distance, what they didn't know was that they were about to be caught between a rock, and a hard place.

Somebody had heard of her before! Her eyes lit up, dancing around Ozni as she gloated over her apparent fame and fortune with the other members of the group. "No way, you heard of me, for reals? This is like the best thing to happen today! It makes falling down that weird hole even more worth it!" She did another cool pose before her Gengar had spooked her, followed by the quick little spook Dusk had given her. After that, the leader of the group would approach, with Sonikku looking up at him and giving him a confused expression. "Not the safest place? This looks like most of the caves we run through. I've speen training courses more dangerous than this." she said, puffing out her chest and looking all proud and such as they announced a plan to get out of this place. Sonikku tapped her foot as she was referred to and paused to think about her route in here.

"Oh, I was really paying attention to how I got in here. But I'm sure finding the exit this way beats having your soul sucked out of you!" she said while looking back over to the encroaching spirits wandering inside of the cave. The racer looked back to the other people who had been planning their escape before going straight towards the first man who had recognized her. Totally. 100%. "Okay, actual ghosts is where the fun stops. Are we going cave diving again or are we gunna go fight whatever sent those baddies?"

Oz grinned at Vanessa. In his family, praise hadn’t been all that common. Daddy wanted more, and mommy was too busy helping poor kids in the tropics to worry about her own. “You betcha.” The CEO gifted her with a trademark Adebayo grin. “I keep these baby blues on all the potential influencers in this place.” It made it easier to do collabs before the MLM schemes wrung all the integrity out of someone.

The dark-haired man nodded in agreement as Razz took the lead. A big part of being a big wig was knowing when to delegate. And these two gentlemen were way better suited to watch their sixes than Oz. If they needed someone to come up with a killer sales plan or product idea, though, he was a shove away. After a moment of debate, Oz slotted himself into the conga line right behind Vanessa. Sure, he might not be bringing up the rear, but he’d rather get his soul sucked out before a teenager.

“Well, that sucks,” Oz muttered at Vanessa’s admission. This place could have them wandering in circles for days. “Could just keep turning left. That seems to work in the—” Bright blue eyes shifted down the nearest left fork. At its end, he caught a wisp of something like a funeral shroud. “Shit.” A very rare bit of profanity from the mostly PG executive. “Guess that way’s out.” As they raced against beings that phased through matter, Oz would start to notice how much the ghosts focused on Benoit. If it wasn’t helpful, Ozni might have complained about it.

“Yo! Benoit!” The man yelled behind him. “Are you carrying Spooky Snacks or something?” Maybe these were the ghosts of people he’d beaten in battle or something? At Vanessa’s words, Ozni turned to her. “Pretty sure we’d have a hard time with a hoard of the dead.” He shivered. “You ever see Poltergeist, Nessa?” It really made him wish he had a priest or something.

Which, as an almost-atheist, was the first time he’d ever had that thought.

"I doubt your race courses usually have the dead," Razz counters back at the racer as she claims to have encountered more dangerous courses before. Something he highly doubted, especially as they were currently trying to escape a hoard of warrior ghost. Warriors he could only hope didn't come from Kanto. [break][break]

A thought he tried to push back as right now survival as they traveled through the cave. Pausing once or twice as Salem tried to make sure it was the proper way to go. "I think it would be safer if we avoid the ghost coming after us, I'm sure the dead are just angry at the living just casually trespassing," he voices his opinion as vanessa rosiello talks about possibly fighting them. Finally light could be seen at the end of the tunnel though before going out Razz holds out a hand for the civilians to pause and wait there. The Ranger wanting to be sure that things were safe first as he and his Meowstic go out first. [break][break]

Though it would seem that the souls of old warriors weren't their only problem. As a larger than life palm tries to crash down on Razz, Salem's eyes glowing as it uses SPIKY SHIELD to stop the hand of the giant Golurk as it seemed to try and grab them. "Move quickly!" he yells as an order to get the others out of the cave while Salem tried to keep up it's SPIKE SHIELD. Razz prefering they be outside than be stuck between a rock and ghouls.[break]
