An almost deadpan look would cross Akira's face as the suited man asked her the fabled question. It was clear that not only did she not appreciate being reminded of her fuck up, but... she also didn't want to recall the fact that she was on 's shitlist.[break][break]

"You make it sound like it was intentional-" Akira grumbled, finally getting the backpack on her shoulders adjusted to her weight. She really wishes she had a larger pokemon right now to carry this thing...[break][break]

Another Pokemon, this one looked... strange? Was that a Rotom? For a moment, Akira's eyes would almost sparkle upon seeing it. It reminded her of her childhood, growing up with technology... Her dad used to have Rotom.[break][break]

Without thinking, she would throw her pokeball at the pokemon.[break][break]

Oh, right. Someone was here with her. "So- one could say I'm vibing as well I suppose..."

DAY 4
Still raining... how boring. How the hell can people do this Garden stuff for fun? Whatever. At least I brought an umbrella and book this time. I'll probably try and buy a nice umbrella to leave here for the summer when it gets too hot. While the weather sucks, at least my book was a nice read. Hopefully the protagonist grows a spine.

The tent was, despite being a tent, a safe space once the door flap closed. She found herself crumbling to her hands and knees, letting out an exaggerated sigh of relief as she slowly sunk to the ground. "Oh thank Arceus-" she found herself muttering quietly. "I'm alive- I'm alive- holy shit-"[break][break]

If only she wasn't tired beyond relief, she would have cried tears of joy right there- especially now that she was out of sight of her rescuer. No more acting, no more... being mean. She could just rest in peace and pray nobody comes to bother her.[break][break]

As she picked herself up off the ground with one hand, she looked around the tent. It smelled... interesting. Not exactly what she'd enjoy but at least it was subtle enough to be pleasant. And...[break][break]

She looked at the small airbed and sleeping bag. Was... that a Charizard Blanket?[break][break]

The small confused sound of a pokemon would cause Akira to whirl around and scream in surprise. Before... looking at them. Awh... that it looked cute... "S-shit I'm sorry" She apologized, before giving them a nice pat on the head. And- if it let her- she'd pick them up and comfort them.[break][break]

Because for the love of Arceus- she just needed something to hug that wasn't a fucking psychopath.

Alas, the end of the tense interaction would come in the form of a cellphone ring- it seemed he'd found a replacement for her. With a short nod, she would respond with a yes sir before he begun to walk off.[break][break]

And when he was a reasonable distance away... A very loud sign of relief escaped her. "Oh thank Arceus-" she muttered to herself. "I'm- I'm alive-". But not unscathed. It seemed (or rather, felt) like she'd landed on Gavin Merlino's shitlist.

Being tired made her talk to much... she was putting herself at risk. And yet, her eyes would widen as the man specified what he'd meant. "What? Why- Why didn't you say that? You know you have a problem of being horridly vague about things right?" It came out as a sharp jab, perhaps to play off the confusion. And as soon as she saw the grin on the guy's face-[break][break]

Her face went deadpan.[break][break]

"With all due respect: Fuck-" She paused, cutting herself off. Right, insulting the guy that just saved her wasn't a good idea. He could kick her out any second. "....Goodnight."[break][break]

And without any theatrics, she would close the tent door with a very sharp and dangerous zip.

Ugh, it's raining. I had to move my lawnchair under some trees. At least I don't have to water the berries today. Luckily I didn't bring my book with me, otherwise it would be soaked. I took some time to explore the nearby forest and found a big pond. Maybe when it's warmer I'll take a swimm...

"Thats- quite the name for a base I suppose." She had to admit it was kind of cheesy though. Blackwing's Bazaar? Weren't Bazaars usually a name for grand and exotic shopping centers? She'd gone to quite a few of those as a child but- this definetly wasn't that.[break][break]

Unfortunately, she didn't have the heart to tell him that. She stood around almost awkwardly as the masked man made his way around the camp with intent. She did sort of jump though when an unassuming rock turned into a pokemon. Was that... a ditto?[break][break]

Alas... it seemed the coast was clear. As he turned towards her to suggest she get comfy, an almost comedic sign escaped her. "Oh thank Arceus- I won't just get comfy. I'm going the fuck to sleep." She spoke in a way that exaggerated her exhaustion- though, instead it came out as if she was desperately done with all this bullshit.[break][break]

She turned to walk into one of the tents. But before entering, she would look over her shoulder and give the man a quizzing look. "I- wish I had the option to." She admitted, before pausing to look away. Honestly- if her life wasn't in an utter help it of running from the law, she would have taken every opportunity to avoid Team Rocket at all costs. But... "But- I suppose everyone has their reasons and.. circumstances for joining."[break][break]

Plus, Its not like she had much of a choice now. She was high up on Gavin's shitlist right now, and the last thing she wanted was her head strung up on a pike for trying to defect.

She could feel.... something wash over her. She didn't feel wet, but she didn't feel dry or warm either. In the darkness of the ground touching her face, she could feel how... clean she was? And what was this weird warm feeling... Oh god- was she dead? Did she hit the ground to hard and die? Oh thank god, she could finally get some peace and-[break][break]

Oh- she heard him talk again. She wasn't actually dead. Oh, how easy that would have been... Another soft groan would escape her as she raised her head to look at the Gallade- then Navy- then the rest of the pokemon around him.[break][break]

Oh- and what a pitiful look she had on her face. It looked like she'd seen death which she kinda had. "Yeah... thank... you..." she quietly said, before letting her head plop back down onto the ground. She didn't look hurt anymore- moreso just fatigued across the board. "That was... too much... I need to be alone..."[break][break]

At this point, she didn't care about her mission. She just wanted to be at peace...
