Looking around the sky they were flying through, she saw the figment of... something in the distance. "Hey, am I seeing things? Do you see that over there?!" Oh no... please dont be another piece of nightmare fuel...

Every ounce of Akira's presence is doused in a raging conflict. A desire to be freed from these caves, yet too tied down by... misery, as she'd said. Yet while on the surface level her mannerisms were really bad, merely inches from going off the first excuse she was given, things were a hell of a lot worse then Isaac thought.[break][break]

The worst part about it? It was a self created cataclysm of horseshit of horrible decisions and biting off more then she could chew.[break][break]

Akira remained silent as they begun to walk, mostly due to how fatigued she was- the less energy used the better. And yet, she couldn't hold back a pitiful groan. Should Isaac turn, he'd witness Akira raising a hand to her face to rub her eyes.[break][break]

"Thats wishful thinking, and you know it. There's always someone lurking around the corner. And when there isn't nobody, rumors make noise to make up for it." She speaks truthfully, but her tone seems very jaded for someone who was new to Team Rocket. "-Heavens forbid someone has any semblance of peace. Keeping my head low already has me on one of the underbosses' shitlists. And that shit wasn't even my fault..."

Here she was again... getting caught sleeping on the job, being blamed for a bad cargo haul that wasn't even her fault to begin with... to say that her luck was horrible was the understatement of the century. She wasn't the type to care about promotions, or attaining ranks... but she absolutely despised being look down upon. She joined Team Rocket to hide from law enforcement, not become everyone's personal punching bag.[break][break]

When she was told about her assignment, she dreaded even going back down into the caves and it's... horrific landscapes in this Arceus forsaken sea. But unlike that fucking idiot Kouji Matsubara , it seemed she was in good hands- even if said co-worker didn't like her very much.[break][break]

Or thats how it seemed anyways. Akira wasn't the most useful person in existence, but she was made up for that with her observation skills. Unlike the rather lazy persona one would assume of the young woman, Akira did her best to be hasty with her actions- a hand moving to pick up the large backpack she and her Seraphim were in charge of transporting. Picking her head up to look at the suit of armor, she would find herself instinctively standing up tall.[break][break]

"...I'll do my best. But- I doubt things will go that horribly wrong." she said. She tried her best to stay civil with her comment- but it was clear she didn't appreciate being judged. That and.. with the bags under eyes, it was pretty clear she was doing everything in her power not to be testy. The last thing she wanted as her luck to sink lower then rock bottom...[break][break]

With an exhale, perhaps to recheck herself and adjust the bag on her shoulders; An annoyed expression plaguing her eye. "-Whats in these bags anyways, it's so heavy..."

For someone who was so externally.... hard to read, slowly yet surely she was beginning realize that Gavin wasn't as jaded and cold as she thought. Judgemental, perhaps. But the rumors about him exaggerated him quite a bit. This was her first meeting with him afterall, so perhaps that impression would be prone to change.[break][break]

...Or maybe she was more surprised that some people in this fucking faction had a sense of reason. No matter, with a small nod in response to his level headed responses, she would find it in herself to respond. "Very well then sir, I'll conduct that once I've been relieved." she speaks in an even tone here.[break][break]

She seems calm, but it's evident that she'd being careful with the words she chooses "I'll admit the last cargo I was apart of was- disastrous. Are there any communications that still need to be done?"

It was a swift end, the pursing pokemon not pulling up in time to evade the rocks. It was a horrifying sight to watch it clatter into the sharp terrain, spilling blood and unleashing a howl of pain...[break][break]

...Even if it was a figment of this guy's imagination, it was a sad sight to see. She could be mean, but death wasn't something anyone should deserve.[break][break]

As the trio begun to fly higher, Akira would let out a sigh of relief. She then begun to let go, unaware that the threats they faced weren't gone yet. "Oh, uh- I don't have any I particularly like. I adore my Umbreon, and... Mimikyu has their quirks. Uh-" she seemed to stumble over her words, what kind of pokemon did she like? "I don't really have a full team, so- I don't tend to pick favorites based on categories."

As they walked, she did come to admire his willingness to help others. He hadn't asked who she was, did he- oh, there it was. "...I'm Akira. Uh- I was sent down to deliver some communications but... things didn't go as planned. If it weren't for a league member (Navy) I finessed I would still be stuck down there..."

He was knocked out. Finally, she could rid herself of this absolute headache of a human being. And soon after- she felt her hand flare up in pain. "Owh... motherfucker..." bringing the ligament to a viewable level, she realized that some of her fingers were mangled from how hard she'd hit him. Guh, that was going to take her out for the count..[break][break]

Struggling to stand, Akira turned swiftly to look at Umbreon. She'd left her to fend for herself... and it seemed like the pokemon had found itself in a stalemate. She looked worse for ware though, "Umbreon, Withdrawal. We need to go." she ordered in an annoyed tone before turning to walk through the caves to find an exit...[break][break]

Seeing her trainer begin to leave, Umbreon would turn towards Liepard and let out a low ruff. Yes, they would settle this at another time.. But with a second bark, asking for them to look after their own trainer, Umbreon would chase off after Akira... leaving the duo alone in the darkness...

Honestly? The kick worked better then she thought it would- it was a unthought out strike afterall. Hell, the moment she felt the guy's weight begin to fall on her, she realized it may have worked too well. Before she realized it, the duo fell onto the floor in a heavy heap- thus causing Akira to let out a pained yelp.[break][break]

Dazed for a few moments, she realized the guy was on top of her. Akira would quickly grit her teeth, raising her hands to use her full strength to push him off her. She tried to push him to the side. But with how tangled up they were, she ended up rolling ontop of him instead.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Umbreon would jump off Liepard and growl furiously, realizing it had attacked more then necessary. It then begun to crouch, prepared for another attack.[break][break]

Panting from how winded she was, adrenaline flowing through her, with a fierce look she would look down at the dazed Milo. And when she opened her mouth to berate him, he spoke:[break][break]

"...We should do this again sometime. Are you free next-"[break][break]

She was so done with him. With no greeting words in response and zero hesitation, Akira would raise her fist and punch him square in the face with an unadulterated force that would knock a person out. And- as a response- bones in her hand would crunch from a lack of training.

Despite the... rather pitiful image it painted of her, she was glad to see that the trainer was letting their pokemon off the hook for something that had been her fault. She didn't allow herself to smile, but... she did let the warm bubbly feeling in her stomach sink in.[break][break]

"Haha- yeah, too much of it for me today-" She tried to phrase it like a joke, but... the amount of dread and fatigue in her tone gave the comment an unintended heavier meaning...[break][break]

Ah, yes. And then that question was asked. The orange haired girl would let out a groan as she begun to walk closer. "-Too much." she said curtly. "Way.. to... much... I'm one step away from snapping. And not in the pretty way." Ugh, just that comment alone irked her the wrong way. Kouji... that league fucker that knocked out Umbreon... She really hoped this guy wouldn't push her buttons like they did.

"SO WHY DON'T YOU-" The disruption in their path would cause Akira to turn, fully prepared to retaliate with Umbreon if she had to. However, one thing led to another, and the path between them and the monster was blocked off.[break][break]

A yip would escape her as she was once again pulled along. "For fuck's sake- that's not going to stall them for long! Shouldn't we try to climb the walls or something? Or break out? Surely you have something to do that. Umbreon's mostly good for stalling... fuck, I'm getting tired..."
