Adel was excited she was finally about to her foot in the door. This was her first gym challenge, one of many to come. No matter if won or lost the ranger would learn from the experience. Maybe this would be she needed to shake her nerve and find out what she wanted to do with her life.

She knew of Josh Devlin for better or worse. His past faults were still loud and clear but she couldn't be one to hold it against him. He was the strongest and most devoted people to Hoenn. Everyone has their faults didn't they not?

The blonde took a deep breath it felt nice to walk beside her pokemon. She knew basic rules of the battle and what is to be expected of her. She hoped Josh was ready too!  The ranger took a deep breath deciding to munch on a peppermint as she paced the floor in the waiting area.

A space-time distortion in the safari zone of all places. Adelaide wondered why it decided to happen here of all place. The ranger could didn't looked back while drive into the madness. She had tangled with twisted pokemon around and ready which her pokemon. Although she keep her Togepi in her arms her decidueye and Kirlia were ready to fight off version pokemon some were including not limited hisuian decidueye.

Any moment now. She knew distortion always caused some weird or interest effects and sure enough they began to happened in a blink of her faith has not only but has gained a new move and the same when for the little egg pokemon. Thanks the stars it's wasn't anything horrible she could be serious worried. 

They had dealt with a decent chucky of the crazed around here it was best to retreat for now. Noticing a blue shard Adel picked it up before leaving.

She’s lying! She has to be lying. You felt sick to your stomach with everything that happened. What did she mean both the League and Team Rock lost? This girl was you become in just a few years. You want to throw as you mind does through a hundred different way of could have gone wrong. You future self sighed and pulled you along. “Man, I didn’t really respond to shock very well so much denial.”

“You're me! How did you become me? Why do I look like this?” Your future self seemed almost offended and pouted. “Don’t knock it until you try it! I can explain everything, but you need to trust me. I would also like to get out of this dump It smells like shit here.”

Could you trust yourself? It seem an odd question to but given the situation you decision to allow what little aid she give. The future was reckless in contrast to you. She look like a punk. But you had little choices here with sighed you reach out at hand so she can pull you up.

Once she does your future self doesn't let you go and walks you out of the alley. You're legs is still very sore. You hope you didn't twisted it. “How far did I fall?”

“About twelve feet from the ground but you hit it quickly hard. Lucky you appear in from of me when no one was around or people would have been asking questions." You looked into the city beyond the alley. it becomes clear you're in mauville city. Or what is left of it any way? It seem different without the stars in the sky much less the moon. Every seemed in good spirits since it was christmas but the city was so dark since from the artificial lights.

"So what happened?" You want her to get one with as mentally prepared for the worst however instead of telling your future stopping into of a store feed with presents and ribbons.

"I want to stay that this-everything happened for a reason. The short version My Hoenn is the last remaining region on the planet."  Another shocking truth that made you want to scream.

"W-why?" You future looked at them back at the shop with painful. "The simple answer is selfish and arrogant. League and Team Rocket could put their difference aside to truly come together when the time was right. Three disaster led to the end of everything. Ruination, Eternatus, and finally necrozma."

Somehow those names sound similar but you not sure from where exactly. "We are all selfish and it costs us. I lost a lot of friends in the disaster the world has never been the same but we have adapted. "

You couldn't bring yourself to believe any of this is true. You couldn't. "I don't believe this! I can't be! This what the future the in store for Hoenn? Endless suffer more or less?" It becomes harder and harder for you to speak and your voice begins to crack just thing of all the friends and good memories. Denial was wound and your future self was the dagger.

You want this to be a dream on where you can up from. This has to be a nightmare and tell your friend all about it, and laugh it off while you prepare yourself for the next mission. You were in denial of the man standing before you and the unknown D at his side. He spoke rather disinterested about the whole affair. Was this Father Winter from the flyer? To you, he didn’t seem so deserving of the jolly title, but then you remember winter can bring out the bitterness in people, too.

"Maldacena put me up to this. Don't care if you know them or not. Not my job."


“Maldacena?” The name caught you off guard however you wondered who that could Father Winter wouldn’t say. Maybe they were someone she had met before.

"But we're giving you a chance to change the course of history. Mess around in the timeline. Be selfish. This might be your only chance to right wrongs, get what you really deserve, or to learn something new. You'll return home, I swear. We need you alive for this."

Your guard is raised at this offer of a lifetime to travel through time to see the past, present, or future. How would this effects things now? If they mess with time? Their would could be destroyed or worse. “Changing the course of history? Do you understand how dangerous it is? What if I don't want to change?”

You watch for a second man sneer at you then sighed. You weren't the difficult person he has had to dealt with but the outcome would be all the same. You locked eyes with him. That is the last thing you see before your force into a patrol. Your vision goes blurry. It feels like you have been falling for who knows how long. You remember what you wrote in your letter to Father Winter. Answers! That's what you wanted more than anything. You didn't care what time would give them. You just wanted help on find out the true on how to save and protect those you care about. All you can do is hope fate will bring you on the right path as you lose consciousness!

You awake up slowly. The stretch of the garage began more apparent as you opened your eyes. You lying on a thick piece of cardboard for a makeshift bed, and your head was setting up against a garbage bag. How disgusting! You sat up, finally getting even a bit of your bearings. Who knew time traveling could be so hectic. Notice you're in a dark alley way the building blocks your views, but you can still do something off. Why is the sky completely dark? There wasn’t even a star in the sky? Something was really off!

“Oh it’s about time you’re up.” You notice the girl sitting no too far away from you. Danger. That was your first, though, given her unruly  appearance, but she seemed trilled to see you almost too thrilled. “Where am i?”

“Oh Hoenn! Not yours but mine. It’s different in many, many ways.” So I really did time travel. It was the same, but was these the past, present, or future? You would find out seen enough as you tried to stand you get felt dizzy and fall back down.

“Hey, take it easy? You kinda fell out of the sky!” Father Winter and you were going to have a few words next time you meant and if you do. “The sky? What is wrong with it?”

“It’s a long story.”

Alright, another question. “Who are you?”

The unruly  girl grin at that question which made you regret asking in the first place. “As I said before, you fell out of the sky but into my time. This is Hoenn. The year is 2050!”

“That’s not answer my question-”

“Let me finish! I’m getting to that. My name is Adelaide Whiteley.” You eyes wide as what the means. “I’m from the future. I future were Team Rocket and League lost everything!”

Dear Father Winter,
This year has been quite the busy one. I can't say it hadn't been eventful through. This is first time I write to you so I think I should introduce myself as Adelaide Whiteley.  I have been in Hoenn over a few months now. Being here has been an real eye opener to the world around me and what I have missed out on. Also the dangerous that I will have to safe with time.

You ask me what do I want for Wintertide? Of course, there are many things. I want to help heal. I want and  safety and for Galar and Hoenn to be at peace. I want to protect many people but those are things you have read in similar letter before. So, what I really want is answers. Since going to a....false galar my mind feelS incomplete like I have forget something I wish to recall and remember but I can't!  I don't know if things will never be the same but can you tell me if Zacian and Zamazenta are okay? I remember their howls and still have a few of the shards. Knowing that would give me some peace in these trying times.

I don't want to change my past. My mistakes will stay with me until the day I die. I feel thatour choices are ours to make and I never learn anything if I changed my past. I may never be where I am right now. I can't say I am my best life but I am living a life feelings of comfort. Now, I present I do want to change because I feel like I am lost somewhat. So much is happening right in front of my eyes It's hard to understand or make sense off. 

I want my future to be something memorable and if never ends to be a good note. I want to see Hoenn heals for a change instead of the constant clashes with Team Rocket or aliens trying from another world trying to killed us. I want led into feel like am I being simply being lead.

Everything was starting to make sense. In all honesty playing the role of detective was rather fun even she was off on her own for quite some time. The clues were almost like pieces to a large puzzles. She thought about long and hard. Using all the fact given and what others have been saying about it. With the exception of because that man wasn't even close and rambling nonsense she could hardly understand or even care too. "After looking through all the clues there is no doubt in my mind who the real killer is. Using Toxic on Madame Peacock and Thunder Punch on Dayton Andrea Applegate killed them both in order to get enough wealth to pay off het gambling debts."

Adelaide was rather pleased with the update on the clues found.  It seemed someone dragged the body into the tea room. It was all an cover up. She heard other were going to now discovered secret room but she head towards to the entrance. [break][break] There was a few pokemon needs to the check down incase something odd happened them too.  She chose to checked the infernape with the device in hope of finds some kind of clues and put an end to who killed that poor old woman.

Adelina nodded in agreement the other in the greenhouse. It seems pretty much cleared up now so they was making some serious progress for sure. "If that's the case the others have likely found more clues maybe clean up the rest of rooms or are least close. I doubt the killer would attack with two of you here and least one of you armed. Too risky if there trying to cover their tracks." [break][break] It was just her honesty opinions here. If she was the killer than she would for when others least expected it and pick them off. Although playing in something fears could work too but was think into that a bit too much. "I will leave the greenhouse to you both. Good luck and stay safe!" [break][break] She decided to go elsewhere in search of the others clues. There could be might something out here that could twisted the murder mystery one it's head. Adelina heads down the hallway where she discovered the rug it seemed a bit too loose for her likely so she decided to take a a closer took at it.

Nothing. Adelaide combed through the plants with care but hadn't found anything then again she was rather alone in the greenhouse least for the moment in time. Maybe after some other began to search the clues then more people would arrive at the here. At sure enough while the ranger was still searching the plants she began. And sure enough  and  joined in searching the plants.

[break][break] "That was my first guess. I don't about a weapon but anything is possible. Do you know how the other groups after faring at moment." She asked calmly her eyes lingered at Mint Frost a little longer to due the knife but with a murder on the loose she couldn't blame him for being so cautious. "I don't worry the more the merrier. I have a feeling we might be close to finding something." Maybe she was blindly confident? Who know but the woman keep digging around.

Adelina was a bit shocked remember share a nice pumpkin spice latte with her pokemon then she heard a hissed from her luxray. None even of her pokemon were here and now there is weird looking man with detective uniform now asked to aside him then in murder case. The storm? He must have meant the distortion. This was her second time dealing with the thing this but if the "storm" was that. It would answer a lot of questions'. [break][break] Especially with the odd power coursing through her. She felt odd but more relax than most. It might come in handle depends on what was about to happen here. "I suppose I could help." It would kill time and give her a change to see what police work would be like. She looked at the information and the suspects before headed off the greenhouse. She needed quite a bit of herbs and plant so it something just right for here. She began carefully plants for anything odd or out of place.
