Appearance: Ryker is a handsome young man that stands at a height of 6’7”. He has a naturally tanned appearance and short brown hair. His eyes are amber in color sometimes coming off as piercing making him come off as intimidating at times. He has a muscular body and a sharp chiseled face that only adds to his attraction. He has a crimson dragon tattoo along his back and right arm. Aside from the tattoo he has a few scars along his torso but they’re hard to make out unless a person is standing close to him.

Personality: The young man comes off as someone that keeps emotions at arms length. However that is only part of it. The truth is is that he just isn’t real in-tune with his emotions and struggles to feel anything. Maybe part of him killed his emotions without realizing it. It’s hard to say why he has trouble connecting to his emotions. Because of this he can at times come off as cold. And may unintentionally say something that hurts someone’s feelings. He can’t find it in himself to care. Though he struggles to connect to his actual emotions he can easily fake any emotion he has to by observing those around him.

He’s always been fairly vigilant often noticing the little things that no one else has. He spends a good amount of time observing any of his target. Making sure to note anything he can about them before moving to take them out. After all the more he knows about a target the better chance he has of taking them out. And it might also be due to the fact that he’s never rash and always thinks things through.

Having been taught to wait for the perfect opportunity he’s fairly patient as well. Not being bothered being kept waiting. Though that might be because he can’t really connect to his emotions. Due to his patient nature and his inability to really connect with his emotions he is a level-headed person who isn’t the type to let anything get to them.

This makes him good at what he does. With him being able to take out a target with calm precision. Because of this people consider him to be emotionless. Which isn’t to far off but that doesn’t make him unable to follow orders. In fact the likely hood of him doing something without having orders first is slim to none. Though only those who he has pledged his loyalty to can order him around. Otherwise he won’t do anything.

History: Ryker was born in Pyrite Town in Orre. It was a place filled with a crime and it would only take a homeless kid so long before he would be drawn into doing crimes himself. At first it was just him stealing food or money to get by. He had no parents or adults to tell him it was wrong, his parents abandoning him as soon as they could. Just wanting to get away from such a crime filled place, but feeling they weren’t up to being parents just yet so they just decided to abandon him.

The first major crime he committed was when he was nine. Even if it technically was an accident. Being fairly headstrong and daring when he was younger he could often be found on top of the canyon that surrounded the town. And other kids seeing him up there would often follow him up there. He often ignored them not wanting to have to deal with them.

However one kid thought it would be a good idea to try and swipe something that he had claimed as his own. In a fit of rage he shoved the other kid sending him off the top of the canyon neither having realized how close to the edge of the canyon they were. The kid didn’t make it landing in such a way to that his neck ended up being broken.

Looking down at what he had done he couldn’t bring himself to feel anything. He figured he should at least feel remorse but he didn’t. He wasn’t aware anyone had witnessed what had happened until an older male in his mid twenties approached. The guy was an assassin and the fact he was so apathetic after killing someone had caught his attention.

The older male offered to take him in and teach him his ways. Seeing nothing wrong with the deal he readily agreed. The assassin took him into his home are started teaching him how use a multitude a weapons, with him having a knack for bladed weapons. He was also taught the art of stealth so he could learn the art of silent killing which involved him sneaking up behind the person and taking them out from behind.

While he loved using twin swords his favorite being twin dao blades his favorite weapons were hideaway knives though he didn’t use them as much as he liked since he liked keeping them concealed up his sleeve and long sleeves weren’t exactly the best thing to wear in a desert environment unless it was night time when it was cooler out.

Using weapons wasn’t the only way he learned how to fight. He was also taught many forms of martial arts making him adept at hand to hand as well. To train he was often pitted against some of his mentors acquaintances only allowed to go out on assignments when his mentor thought he could protect himself, which didn’t happen until he beat every opponent that the older male threw at him.

When he was finally allowed to go out on assignments when he was twelve, he was quick to get the hang of killing people. It was almost like he was made for killing people. It wasn’t long before he realized he felt nothing when it came to killing. Deep down he did enjoy it but it was like any emotion he felt was behind a glass wall dull to the point of being ignored.

For the next four years he went on to kill whoever his mentor wanted him to with no change. At least until he was sixteen. At the age of sixteen he became affiliated with a certain gang that was known for their violent acts in Pyrite. Being drawn towards the likeminded people of the gang he joined. His own violent nature appealed to the gang so he was easily accepted into the gang. Though the fact he was able to provide them with information on people who they could take out probably helped with that.

He was with the gang for two years before the gang was attacked by another gang. A lot of the members of the gang he was in were killed that day and he was taken prisoner due to not running when he had the chance. When it was clear he wouldn’t cooperate with the gang the other gang kept him locked up under guard so he couldn’t escape.

He didn’t make any attempts to escape when this happened at least not right away. Due to his assassin training he knew how to wait until an opportunity presented itself. How to wait until the gang let their guard down when it came to him. And finally that chance came three years after the fall of the gang. Two guards were only posted while the others went to bed. It was a moonless night so he used that as an opportunity to attack. He got out of the place he had been kept in taking out the two guards, killing them both before they were even aware what was going on.

Now that he was free he slipped away into the night. He was unsure if any of any of the other gang members of the gang had been captured but he didn’t linger just heading back to the place he had resided in with his mentor. Finding the older assassin gone he chose to leave Orre all together not really caring where he would go after leaving.

After leaving Orre he took the time to travel around. He kept a low profile passing through different regions like a ghost. Mostly because he made sure to keep his distance from people. The young man didn’t want to draw attention to himself. And considering he was born to kill he decided it would be best he wasn’t around others.

He did this for years before word reached him of Rocket being in Hoenn. Having heard the stories of rocket during his travels he had become interested in them. So he made his way to Hoenn the only region he had yet to travel. His arrival in Hoenn has been fairly recent and upon ending up in Hoenn he immediately went out of his way to join Team Rocket.
