She thought of Navy then, and how he stood on that theatrically smoky pitch, hyping people up—and trying not to let them fall.

She smiled wryly as he enunciated. This one had a lot of rough character to him, but it wasn't reflected in her work. The sketch was inelegant but clinical. It didn’t appear to be an artist's rendition. It was too accurate, too balanced, and too unconcerned with biases. His likeness could go in a catalogue, new specimen of the rave typing.[break][break]

In any case, she returned to looking out over the railing with a frown. It almost felt too easy, didn’t it? She missed the old days; instinctively, she palmed the hilt of the sword that peeked out from beneath her jacket.[break][break]

A porygon-z would be released from her hand, standing by next to them with its swirling eyes bouncing from target to target, scanning for the next approach. But all was strangely quiet, with most of the chaos happening in the water as various passengers began blasting away at the pirates with their own pokemon.

Then to Thomas, she would say: “The good news is that the damage to the generators we’ve seen is consistent with whiscash presence.”[break][break]

All of this said as the fish in particular was getting beat up by dragon moves. The barboaches squirted a series of WATER GUNs in retaliation.[break][break]

“Once we’re done with these ones, the rest of the excavation should be clear.”
