[attr="class","diana"]As Fenelle extended their hand, the world began to crumble. Diana shouted in surprise, grabbing onto their hand and holding onto it tightly.

She felt like she was going to hurl.

There was a sudden nudge, walking wake urging her to climb on its back. She pulled on Fenelle's arm, guiding them to the beast. It seemed to be able to withstand the alterations of reality.

Most likely because it wasn't meant to exist.

But Diana didn't have time to hear her answer. As Ameena drew closer, the lucario struck her and sent her flying. Instinct took over her movements as she released gouging fire from her side.

It roared with malice, heat buffeting off its fur in intense waves. burning bulwark caused the lucario to collapse as the mythical beast struck it, setting its hair ablaze. It let out a howl of pain, momentarily subdued as Diana rushed to her friend(?)'s side.

"Ameena! Are you okay?"

It hadn't fazed Elise Calcifet either.

"They were people displaced like we were. They needed help, more than anything. Don't you think it's harsh to punish the group as a whole for what their leaders decided to do?"

Diana sighed. "I understand you're feelings. But I don't think it was the right way to go about it."

She thought of her family, punished under Ronan Calcifet's rule. Were they not the same?

"The jail... does it haunt you?" Her fingers played with the ceramic handle of her cup, a clear sign of her unease. "Do you believe what they called you?"

Above, the kartanas threatened an attack. While Ameena provided some defense with her unown...

The purple-ish delphox waved her baton, a will-o-wisp surrounding them. Balls of fire shot forward, threatening to burn any of the ultra beasts that wanted to attack.

"Can we.. find somewhere else to stand? Somewhere that won't separate us like this?"

Though, she wasn't sure if such a place existed.

Releasing walking wake, she allowed the paradox Pokemon to stand beside her as they moved, in case she needed a quick escape.

"Look. His veins." A spiderweb of deep purple appeared, mapping out the dead man's still venous structure. "What is that?"

As Fenelle spoke, she noticed that it was beginning to turn dark. The feeling of cold, though it wasn't as deadly and dangerous as jayden cross's frost, seeped into her bones. Diana shivered, the air in front of her turning into a puff of smoke.

"Lead the way, Fenelle. I'll follow."

And Diana had the intent to murder Theo right then and there, until a tight grasp on her arm and a forceful pull yanked her forward. The spirit evacuated her body as it sensed no where to go, instead absorbing back into the spiritomb they left behind.

"I... I'm sorry, sir."

That was the understatement of the century. He was dead.

And Ameena was walking toward the body without a care in the world. Diana's stomach lurched, the overwhelming urge to vomit putting pressure against her throat. Her dignity wouldn't allow her to, however.

Instead, she approached the body slowly, swallowing hard. "Perhaps, something happened internally. Do we know if he had any diseases or poor health?"
