the pair moved in succession with circe taking the role of the clingy child, though all in good fun. if she was to be forced to monitor the stuffy bathrooms, she at least wanted to tease gerald to the utmost. "you sure about that?" she replied smoothly.[break][break]

she believed ghosts were quite real, even more than them.[break][break]

the noise disappeared. but they were not alone. something moved in the darkness.[break][break]

and there was circe, holding onto gerald's arm, now with her head hung low, long strands of hair half-covering her face. she was quiet. strangely quiet.[break][break]

a chill settled in the air. and then, in a low voice, circe spoke: "i want you."[break][break]

her neck titled uncomfortably as her face rose to meet gerald's gaze. " i want youUuUu~" she chimed again, looking straight at gerald with her eyes rolled back.

"there's a reason you'll never see a child in my arms. maternity and motherly acts are not in my arsenal." she couldn't possibly imagine bearing a child, unless it meant abandoning it immediately to pursue her own selfish desires (hm. idea.). in that way, she realized her and her mother were much more alike than she wanted to accept.[break][break]

circe decided to play her next move boldly and sat herself on the throne of theo beckett's lap. "i have many talents, though i can't say i really hide any of them. i'm very much an open book, you see." in some ways, at least. though as she sat there thinking of what else she could possibly be gifted in that was unknown to the world, circe came up blank. it made her face turn sour. perhaps she wasn't as interesting as she thought she was.[break][break]

"perhaps i need to elevate my level of mystery and intrigue," she sighed, elbows coming to rest at theo's broad shoulders. "by the way, i haven't forgotten about our modeling gig. we might find out today that you have a hidden talent for the model life." her teeth displayed themselves in a cheeky smile.

circe accepted the tissue and applied it against the small blood spot. now was a good time for a break, despite not having even accomplished much.[break][break]

"tis why i left in the first place, darling," she spoke in agreement. the idleness that dewford offered had never meshed well with her radiant lifestyle. "perhaps there's just too much water here for my liking," she sighed, half-joking.[break][break]

she finally decided to hop off of the workstation and displayed herself in front of theo, legs sprawled out and hand at her hip. "by talents, i can only imagine you mean here, with rocket." acting she could accomplish anywhere.

"Mm, I like the word 'ravishing.' It gives much to the imagination," Circe said playfully, knowing Camellia would be able to take the hint.[break][break]

She stood from the water and stepped out of the pool onto the cooler tiles, coaxing Camellia to follow after. "There's still a dinner to be had before we relax in the room," she reminded her with a smile. "Let's not waste this time." She would then retreat for her towel to wipe it down in the changing room, all the while thinking about what they would eat for their meal.[break][break]

she nodded, as if she were a good listener, all the while making her feeble attempts at the stitching. how was it theo was better than her at this? perhaps it was those skillful hands of his.[break][break]

"i see, so you're an island man. who actually loved his island." she noted his small injury, taking back her thoughts from earlier. "unlike me. i hated dewford. bleh. what a small, boring place." her words were spoken nonchalantly. "can you imagine a person like me living there now?" she puffed out her chest for emphasis and shook her head. "never. it's the city life for me. i've had my eyes keen on unova, to be honest."[break][break]

circe made a small noise. "oh." it seemed she had pricked herself as well.

By air, of course! It's the fastest and most convenient way to go.

"What have been your missed opportunities in life so far?"
I suppose there are certain roles I've turned down because I felt I wasn't a good enough actor for them. Looking back, I wish I would have tried anyways and learned from the experience.

"What’s the best and worst relationship advice you've ever received or given?"
My fans already know what I'm going to say. If you're going into a relationship, save a bit of your heart for yourself and the next one.

"Is the person you are now, the person you wanted to be when you were younger?"
I am the person I always knew I was meant to be.

"Have you told your loved ones that you care about them recently? If not, why?"
I have, actually. It's important to let those you care for know how you feel about them every now and then with not only actions, but words.

"What is your go to karaoke song?"
Hm, I prefer classics, but recently I've been obsessed with NO by Meghan Trainor.

"How have your parents shaped you? For better or for worse."
Most know this already, but my father died when I was young, and my mother wasn't much in the picture. In this way, they were motivating factors for me to pursue acting.

"What would you say to a deceased member of your Pokemon team if you had the opportunity?"
I can't imagine what one would say in that situation, and frankly, I don't want to.

"What do you think about when you're alone?"
I do find myself reading people's comments on social media a lot. So I suppose what people think about me.

"Tell me about a time when you truly felt safe?"
My pokemon and I keep each other safe. I can always rely on them and vice versa.

"Would you save our universe, even if it meant that all other universes would be destroyed?"
Well, well, wouldn't that make an exciting episode? Depends. What do the other universes have to offer me?

"Gut check: do you expect people to act in their own self-interest or in the interest of others?"
Humans are selfish beings. Are selfish desires are the driving force behind our success, even if they don't want to admit it. Deep down, we're all looking out for ourselves the most.

"If someone really wanted to hurt you right now, what should they do?"
What an odd question. I'll just use the safe word.

"Do you believe in the afterlife?"
Perhaps. I see no reason not to.

"What would the apocalypse look like or feel like for you?"
Everyone looks like cavemen and are in desperate need of a shower.

"indulge me, then," circe cooed. she made her last stitch, bit the end of the string, and tossed the suit into the pile of completed ones. she lifted herself off the workstation to retrieve another 'sync stone' and a fresh suit. the drab colors of the suit made her shake her head in disapproval.[break][break]

"i want to hear the story of theo beckett. have you always been this hardened, or is there a tragic backstory to explain the way you are now?" circe took her place seated atop the workstation once more, this time letting her legs hang and dangle. the tips of her black heels scuffed against the tiled floor.[break][break]

"and don't leave out the juicy details," she said with a wink.

circe was not as quick as theo. by the time he was on his second suit, she was still finishing up the first. her stitching was incredibly lackluster, too, though she hoped no one would care to notice. it didn't help that right now, most of her attention was on the ragged man sat beside her.[break][break]

"however, if i'm being honest, i don't like to hide talent. you are not someone that should be kept to myself, mr. beckett."

Circe nodded to Cillian in understanding. Now with his approval, her drive burned to make progress. Life was far more interesting for her when she had a goal to reach and a reason to prove to others that she could be successful.[break][break]

"Then, I'll be seeing you around, sir," Circe spoke cooly. She made a half-bow to the man, though whether it was out of respect or as a joke was uncertain. Her eyes glanced to the lycanroc once more before she walked on, past Cillian's form, and towards the other direction.[break][break]

It would be her fans she would attack first.

Circe returned the same, devilish smirk to Camellia. When it came to her partners, men and women alike, Circe always did find herself drawn to the bad apples. Good was simply too boring for her. Good was only for show.[break][break]

She adjusted herself in the pool to strech out her legs under the water and kick them back and forth in a slow motion, just to keep her body busy. "I'm not one to judge others for what they do," she spoke. "But you already knew that about me. And you know I like money." She made a low chuckle. Her life of luxury made it plainly obvious she was a materialistic person, driven by fortune and fame.[break][break]

"And isn't that what soap is for?" she then retorted. "If we soil our hands, we just have to wash them well." Circe turned her head to look straight at Camellia. "I bet it's fun, too."

a cackle escaped circe's lips, so loud that the zubat in the pocket of her lab coat stirs and pokes the top of his head out. "do mine ears deceive me? is that a promise?" she said with gleaming eyes on theo. she felt a prick at her finger. such was the consequence of paying little attention to the sewing project before her.[break][break]

circe returned to her work of art, needle moving at slow lengths as to avoid jabbing herself again. she continued to speak, "i can obviously give you tips. the question is, shall we share your newfound modeling career with the others? or is this show just for me?"
