Fenelle balances that one remaining ball in der hands, knowing that der time in the safari zone is rapidly coming to a close. One final one ... and dee grins as dee sees the cat pokémon from afar. Knowing that this will evolve and gain a dark typing, dee has the perfect trainer for it in mind.

Once more, dee decides to actually put effort into it, stealthing and sneaking until an opportune moment would come ... to strike! A ball is swiftly thrown - der efficiency has peaked now since the lousy start - in hopes of capturing the Litten without any issue.

(Later on, dee would realise that dee could actually bring pokémon into the safari zone, dee just had to be careful about the environment.)

It's disappointingly small compared to der memory from the simulation, but there's barely a bone of hesitation as der hand instantly moves to der bag, taking out a pokéball and just throwing it within a single blink.

There's truly been no question whether or not this pokémon would be caught.

... except on the side of the pokémon. It escapes the first try, just staring at Fenelle as if dee has gone mad (which, arguably, yes, but dee never really left that state in the first place). As if on autopilot, dee simply throws the same ball again, and again, and again ... until it might finally just stay in the ball. Only then der thoughts would resume to der normal activity, too, probably.

Fenelle doesn't flinch - too many expensive, fragile things in this house to risk unintended movement - at Jayden's repeat. That one time dee doesn't take things literally.

Without further thinking, dee moves the laser pointer centerpoint of Jayden, blinking a short signal now directly onto the admin. Dragon Breath, and then wonders.

What defensive typing does an avatar have?

The bubble around the Goodra bursts as he takes a step forward. The air itself ignites as multi-coloured flames charge towards Jayden, flickering violently as it converges to a singular beam.

Fenelle's look is sharp and focused as they fight through the first wave of battles. Hisuian Goodra is slow, but sturdy - its defenses are steel, and this one is particular is quite adamant on impressing Fenelle, too.

Even if by now, he's worn down, but still standing, triumphant.

That is, until Jayden ... Fenelle looks at the Metagross, whose psychic link allows dem right now to understand lipreading better, receive some cues and maybe something like listening. Der Metagross just continues looking at Jayden with this saintly patience it has. O.K., dee signs as understanding slowly settles.

And excitment, anticipation stirs.

Dee fidgets with the laser pointer in der hand which dee's been using to give commands, noticing a weakness. Dee has to use precious time to clap, before quickly signing, You, Bubble. The Goodra would leap to action immediately, covering itself with a large bubble first to act as some sort of shield. Dee wants to see first what's coming, given that they're already worn down.

Fenelle finally managed to sneak into the area just to be met with the biggest disappointment. No signal. Are you kidding me?! dee signs, enraged. Helpfully, der Hisuian Goodra next to dem softens its metallic shell so dee can punch it without hurting der hand, leaving a fist-shaped imprint that the Goodra would probably cherish for the next week until Fenelle starts the battle of getting the shell back into shape.

We're moving in, dee signs, which. Probably, generally, ill-advised, but dee has to confirm that they've moved the servers since the last time. Goodra also doesn't really react to anything, which probably means it's oddly quiet. Have they already abandoned mission here?

Fenelle sprints to pick up the safariball that's containing one shiny liliep now, quickly going through the odds in der mind. Dee wonders for a second if there's increased odds here, or if dee just has been incredibly lucky. If it's the increased odds ... curious what this might imply.

Curious is also a Pichu that has showed up, looking at Fenelle with the biggest plate-sized eyes dee has ever seen in a pokémon that, even to dem, barely reaches der knees. What's up? dee signs, just for fun, but the electric rat just continues staring, seemingly unfazed. For a moment, dee is tempted - however, no. Smell ya later, dee signs (or the signed equivalent of it), before departing - maybe there's something else more interesting out here ...

So they had fossils, too? is Fenelle's first thought as dee sees the Liliep, and almost immediately wants to step forward. But they halt, and stop. Maybe they should've asked for some treats from the Safari Warden and not simply neglected that to get into the zone as fast as possible ... now their only approach would continue to be stealthy, at least unless there's one dee really wants to bond with.

Which, generally, is a rather unlikely occurance. All pokémon here also seem to be their base evolutions, so nothing too interesting either ...

Carefully, Fenelle hides in the safari foliage, waiting for a moment ... waiting ... before they throw the safari ball as hard as they can, hoping to catch the Liliep.

There's one pokémon that couldn't escape Fenelle quick enough, and it's of the type dee has turned out to quite favour, actually. There seems to be a certain kind of familiarity between those, essentially, sentient machines and demself in ways of how dee really likes robots for autism-unrelated reasons (lying).

However, as dee sneaks up to it to catch it unaware, der motivations are fairly different - dee just heard about that one, too, that someone might trade something else for it ... and as dee is close enough, dee quickly throws a ball (without the whole spiel from before), and awaits if the capture attempt would be successful or not.
