• seemingly loyal and forthcoming, exceling in aiding others with their tasks wherever needed. however, seems to have only participated in hacking and tracking as far as missions go, with his hands being relatively clean compared to others for whatever reason.

• his identity. as an undercover/secret agent, his true identity is known to very few people whether he likes it or not. his real name is keone basilio, an alolan native.
• identity issues. he pushes through them for the sake of his work, but once every so often, he gets a bit lost in his thoughts and overthinks about his life. like the above point says, his true self is keone but is it, really? is that really the case when, even before becoming an agent, he hasn't quite lived for himself?
• purposely distancing from his family. he loves them more than life itself, and would drop anything and everything in a heartbeat for them. because of the nature of his work, though, he knows that they could be put at risk if he's ever compromised in some way, so he's kept contact with them vague on purpose despite how he wants nothing more than to see them.

TAIKA CADELL (KEONE BASILIO)

on paper, taika is a rocket-adjacent character that was born in snowbelle city, kalos— but canonically, his most recent region of residence prior to hoenn was paldea. moonlighting predominantly as a hacker and runner beneath the surface, he works day jobs as a bank teller and freelance financial advisor, with his workplace in the case of the former being situated in mauville.

although he's set to be wrapped up in a couple of Gritty(tm) things in the future, taika is, for all intents and purposes, meant to be the closest to a lower stakes character that i have at the moment! he has his own dealings and reasons for being in hoenn, but otherwise, he's really just living his life by ear.

just so happens that the life he's living technically isn't his, but y'know— that's a thing to be tackled later. :sworddoggofast:

centered around anything and everything related to his case persona. playing whatever part needed of him is a given in his line of work, sure— but even then, the people he meets are, for the most part, natural occurrences. friends, coworkers, people to disagree with... just like any other person, he's bound to meet many people in his path for any number of reasons.

because, after all, he's supposed to be just another civilian for the most part.

so come, one and all, be you professional or casual! he may have a bit of a hotheaded and sarcastic disposition sometimes, but don't mistake any of it for bite. all things considered, he's just here to live his life for however long he's required, so let's make sure he isn't completely all work and no play, yeah?
