"Thanks, Nav." Airi smiles at him before nodding her head at him. He does not know it yet, but his trust and confidence in her and her budding leadership skills are quite comforting to him. She shifts her attention towards the small group of civilians, giving them all a warm and endearing smile to help ease their spirits a little more. Now, it is up to Navy and Slow Dancer to escort them across the bridge as her Pokémon and she bring up the rear.

How could she forget about the lurking spirits? Airi nods her head at Navy before shifting her attention towards the fraid of ghosts. She inhales and exhales as she retrieves a Poke Ball from around her waist. The malicious smirks painted across their faces tell her that she will not be able to bargain with them. Therefore, she will have attempted the next best thing. "Chai, I need your help!" She calls out to her Blissey.

The Blissey lets out a joyous cheer, but her soft spirit soon hardens a bit at the sight of ghastly shadows wandering around in front of her. "We do not wish to hurt any of you. However, I cannot allow you to cause any harm the civilians around here. So, please. relax and enjoy this sweet melody," she says to them, a gentle smile curling around her full lips. "Serenade them with your angelic voice!" she orders her Pokémon. The Blissey starts to sing a beautiful lullaby, releasing colorful, sparkling musical notes out of her mouth and in the direction of the evil spirits to put them in a peaceful slumber.

"That is very kind of you, Josh. I am sure that the resides of Mauville City fortunate to have you as Gym Leader," she tells him with a sincere smile. She could almost imagine all of the little children laughing and screaming for joy as all of them participates in the water races. Perhaps, one day she will be able to witness it for herself. Nothing warms her heard more than seeing the young ones enjoying life. Everything is a lot simpler when you are young. Therefore, it is important to treasure those precious moments, before you are forced to grow-up and take on loads of responsibilities for yourself and others.

Airi nods her head. Finally, something that she has experienced before in her life. "I have. I like to go flying on my Dragonite from time to time. Plus, being a Ranger and all, I spend quite a bit of time in the air when I am out patrolling or doing field work," she explains to him. She always enjoys feeling in the wind blowing through her hair.

"Hmm, that is interesting. I will have to check into myself and indulge in a little bit of research when I am not so busy with ranger or nurse business," she replies back to him. She would not mind learning more about the space distortions at some point. [break][break]

She laughs at his question about going faster. "It sounds fun and all, but I really shouldn't push it too much. Especially, since I do not have Bean's saddle," she explains to him. Maybe the next time the two of them will be able to ride faster with Josh. Bean nods his head in agreement with his trainer, not wanting to risk injuring her.

Walking along the shore, Airi's keen azure eyes soon takes notice of a Pyukumuku attempting to hop back towards the ocean. She swiftly rushes over to the weekended water-type. "Poor thing. You are almost completely dehydrated!" She spoke softly to the Pyukumuku, carefully picking up her and carrying her around in her arms as she walks towards the ocean. Slowly, she eases the Pyukumuku into the cool and refreshing water. The water-type lets out a joyous cry as her body starts to become more hydrated. "It's good to see that you are feeling better," she smiles softly as she glances down at her. Bean eventually approaches them. "Alright, you're good to go back. Please take care of yourself," she adds with another smile. Airi and Bean then starts to walk away, only to notice the Pyukumuku hopping behind them> "You want to come with us?" She asks the sea cucumber. She nods her head then takes a few more hops towards the trainer. Airi takes out a Poke Ball, then gently taps it against the Pyukumuku's body.

Watching the surveillance camera Airi's deep blue eyes soon takes notice of a few leaking pipes in the area. "Do you see those leaking pipes? If we don't find a way to stop the water leakage, then the room will be overflooded in now time, she points out to Thomas. However, there is not their only problem. Her keen eyes then notice what appears to be black mold spreading throughout the room. "And there's black mold, too. The moisture from the leaking pipes could be the cause of it. If we do not get them out of the room fast enough, then everyone in the room will be at risk of becoming ill, if not worst," she adds.

Airi's smirks at Silv's words. She would have thought that her friend would have known better than to set himself up with another trap. "It's been hot this entire time, but your face is just now turning red? C'mon, you could come up with a better excuse than this, Silvi! However, if you are truly hot, then I have been told that shedding out of clothes can help with it," a teasing smirk curling against her lips and she reaches over and tugs against the collar of his uniform. She gives him a playful eye wink before moving her dainty fingers from around his collar. She then narrows her piercing azure eyes at him after hearing his comment about honey being a good ingredient in shampoo. "It has a lot of good health and beauty benefits. It is great for the skin. I like to add honey as one of the ingredients to my face masks," she tells him, another cunning smirk making its way across her lips. Her facial expression soon transitions from a teasing one to a toner expression as she takes notice of him staring at her. She feels her heart skip a couple of beats as she smiles shyly at him, tucks a strand of her dark chocolate-hued hair behind her ear, then clears her throat a bit.

Airi's Delphox, Ginger, cannot help, but to laugh at Infernape's reaction the human's suggestion to use him as bait. She feels quite relieved that she does not have to play the same role. She gives the Infernape a kind smile before giving him a quick eye wink as if she is encouraging her to accept the offer, too.

"Thanks, that is an important role for you to take and we know that you are going to do your best!" Airi says to the fire monkey, hoping to hype him up a bit. Thankfully, her plans see to work. She watched the fire type spring into action to smoke out the bees. Airi quickly turned behind the trees, making sure that she is not in view sight of the Combee as they make an escape from the hive. So far, so good. Wait! Where is the queen bee? it has not seemed to come out just yet.

"That is interesting. I did not notice the queen make her grand exit... Did you? Either she is still inside, or she managed to sneak out without us noticing her. Either way, we still need to keep our goal up before rushing in," she explains to Silvi as she takes a moment to scan over their surroundings once more.

Diving deep inside of the ocean without a care in the world. A school of Goldeen swims passed her, but Airi is more so focused on swimming closer to grab the shiny object sparkling at the bottle of the seafloor.

Finally! Airi was about to master the Primarina Twist a second time after failing three times in a row. She felt a little bit more ambitious about trying a new trick this time around. Go big or go home, right? She rides on top of Kite as the two of them move a little deeper into the ocean. Once the perfect wave come their way, Air would make an attempt to hit the Magikarip Splash!

Up ahead, Airi and Bean take notice of a two rather large Drednaw and its hatchings marching across the warm sand to make it to the cool and refreshing water. The adorable scene is more than enough to warm her heart a bit. She somewhat forgets the embarrassment and disappointment that she felt a few minutes ago. Perhaps a peaceful walk on the beach is just what she needs to help lift her spirit.
