Airi shakes her head at Shalin's offer. "It's not fair to your Beedrill, if you withdrew her because I am afraid of it," she tells her with a sweet smile curling around her lips. "It's not bugs. It is more so Bee Pokemon... You know like Beedrill, Combee, and so on... I was almost stung by one as a kid," she explains to her. "And it is nice to meet you Captain Shalin," she gives her a respectful bow.

Airi's deep blue eyes widened as she watches Shalin mount the Wild Talonflame. Within seconds, the Captain Ranger is soaring through the skies on the blazing wings of the Talonflame. "Captain Shalin! Are you crazy? You can get hurt!" She calls out to her superior. A small sweat drop appearing over her head as she continues to watch the show. Her new Shiny Gligar waves his pinchers around in the air cheering for the duo.

Airi smiles, then nods her head at Josh's offer. She is not surprised to hear him reveal that he would much rather be a Gym Leader than a trainer any day. If she had to choose between being a Ranger or a Nurse, she cannot say confidently say which path she would choose at the moment. "I would like to meet them someday. Perhaps, I will let you know the next decide I decide to stop by for a visit," she says, a warmer smile spreading even further along her lips. So far, Josh seems to have a heart of gold and a lot of passion. She admires those traits about him. "I think it that you are also familiar with the Captain Ranger here, too, right?" She asks him.

"Yeah, I am not sure if I would ever want to open up a gym myself, but it was good to about your experience as a Gym Leader," she admits to him. Her Ranger duties keep her quite busy. Therefore, she cannot even think about trying to run a gym. Not right now, at least. It seems that a lot of her friends have a lot to say about Kyurem. She understands completely, since it caused Hoenn a lot of pain. She raises her eyebrow at Josh when he explains to her that he has a tale to share with her."Good thing I enjoy a good tale," she giggles.

Airi's attention soon shifts away from Josh, when she feels someone or something moving around in her bag. She quickly glances down at her bag, only to notice that a Deerling has his head stuck inside in search of a treat. "Hi there!" She laughs, carefully pulling her bag away from the Deerling without injuring it. "If you want a snack all you have to do is ask!" She giggles a little more, taking out a single berry and feeding it to the Deerling. The fawn munches away with the berry. Once it is done, he softly nuzzles his head against Airi's hand. "Something tells me that I'm not going to be able to get away from you that easily, huh?" she laughs, gently petting the Deerling on his head.

If perseverance was a person, it would be Airi. The young Ranger Nurse has wiped out three times in a row, yet she still pushes through the soreness and embarrassment to test her luck for the fourth time. She hopes on Kite's back and the two of them ride off into the ocean. A small wave comes there way and Airi prepares herself to strike the Primarina Twist. Surely, she should be able to stick at this time after failing over and over again, right?

A deep sigh of relief soon escapes from Airi's lips as she watches one of the younger boy's Pokémon free itself in order to protect his trainer from the human rushing towards him. She could have easily engaged in a banter with Aaron about his "innocence", but he made a valid point. She does not know if he is innocent or not. What she does know is that he has enough moral not to attack another human being without being provoked and that alone has to be worth something, right?

A slight frown appears on Airi's face as she listened to the masked man words, attempting to make sense out of them. Is he is taking part in something that he genuinely does not wish to do? If so, then why is that the case? So many questions, but so little time to get answers to them all. "We are doing what we can to help those around us. It might seem pointless to you, but we are going to keep trying our best," she informs him.

The protective forcefield surrounding Bean's body start to crack before shattering into tiny particles of glowing dust before vanishing in thin air. Despite not having its protection anymore, Bean felt confident without. The protect itself had managed to do what it needed to do and that was to protect it from his opponent's overpowering weight. The fins on his body soon started to vibrate, alerting his trainer of a new threat. Within seconds, the ground underneath them start to shake violently before fissuring in various places. This was not an ordinary earthquake, this one is a lot stronger than any Airi has ever experienced in her life.

She quickly returned her Swampert, then released her Dragonite. The Dragonite lets out a loud roar before swooping down to pick up her trainer and position her on her back. "We have to get out of here! Don't worry, I will heal your Pokémon once we're safe," she tells, Aaron, extending her hand out to him, if he accepts her offer to ride on top of her Dragonite with him. As she waits for his response, her deep blue eyes notice the masked man's body disappearing underneath the rubble. She feels her heartstrings being pulled on, not waiting to see her opponent in such a predicament. She closes her eyes for a few seconds and makes to prayer for his protection and healing.

Airi finds herself wandering along the shores of the Slateport Beach after she wiped out in front of the massive crowd at the surfing contests earlier. The beautiful, mocha-haired maiden is still having a hard time with accepting the fact that she was not able to stick her last move on the Mantine. Her ego is bruised, and her face is still a little reddish from her previous fall. Instead of heading back to her hotel, she decided to spend a little bit of time walking along the shoreline in hopes in that it helps her to clear her mind. However, she is not alone. Bean walks closely behind her, but also ensures that he is able to give her a little bit of space without overcrowding her.

"Thanks?" Airi responds with a slightly confused expression shown over her face. She is pretty confident that she has been a ranger a lot longer than Rex has been one. "But I do believe that you have your words twisted around a bit. If you keep hanging around me, then you will become as good as me. Hopefully!" she teases him, watching him take a careful glance through the secret files. She glances over his shoulder, but even she does not understand all of the numbers and symbols printed over the forms. More than likely, it best to not even attempt to figure them out at this point.

Airi raises her eyebrow at his request. It is known knowledge to a lot of the other rangers, that Airi is not one to engage in Pokémon battles, unless she has to do so. However, she cannot turn her back against a fellow ranger, who desires to become stronger. She nods her head and gives him a warm smile. "Of course, ki-.." She catches herself from preferring to him as a kid. "Yes, Rex. We can have a battle someday," she adds, flashing him another smile.

Airi recalls her Leavanny back to its Pokémon for a rest. She feels a little bit more confident with Rex's Pokémon's ability to protect them from any other threats awaiting them in shadows after witnessing the strength of Togepi's Metronome. "You did great today, Rex. You should be pretty proud of yourself, too," she smiles, gently wrapping her arms around his shoulder at the two of them start to make their exit out of Sea Mauville.

"Ah, you are the captain of your hometown. huh? I think that is pretty cool!" Airi states with a smile. Her long, mocha-hued hair whipping around in the wind as her Dragonite soars through the peaceful sky. The residents of Mauville City must be extremely proud to have a native become their Captain Ranger.

"I'm also a native to Hoenn. I was born and raised in Rustboro City. I suppose you can say that we are kind of like neighbors," she giggles a bit. A quick trip through Rusturf Tunnel and Verdanturf Town one would soon find themselves in Mauville City.

The two rangers engage in a little smaller talk before their destinations comes to view. "Right down there, Cream. This is where we need to land," She pointed out to her Pokémon. The majestic Dragonite nods her head as she gently hugs the Swablu closer towards her chest as she prepares for her landing.

Airi finds herself taking a deep dive with Bean. The two engaged in a game of water tag before the two of them finds themselves distracted by the sight of a Clampearl. The mysterious clam-like Pokémon seem to have something sparkly stuck inside of its shell and it did not seem to be a pearl. Curious, the two decided to investigate the scene.

Airi does not like to fail, but she also does not like to quit either. Her last twice rounds were quite rough for her. For some reason she has not been able to stick the Primarina Twist at all. Instead of throwing in the towel, she spent a little extra time practicing her moves with the surfing instructor until she managed to rebuild her confidence. He encouraged her to give another move a try, but she is determined to master the previous moves again before moving on to the more challenging ones. Airi and Kite take the waves once more in hopes of scoring some major points with the Primarina Twist.

His words catch her off guard. She feels her once pale cheeks becoming slightly warm and reddish from the impact of his words. Airi clears her throat, then turns her head away from Navy to hide her blushing face. She cannot help, but to wonder if he meant to say those words out loud to her or not. Either way, she makes the decision not to discuss them at the moment. There is no time for any distractions. The two of them have a rescue mission to complete and it requires a strict time limit in order to ensure everyone's safety.

The warmness kissing her cheeks soon fades away and Airi turns her attention back towards Navy just in time to see her friend summoning his majestic stallion sculpted from ice. Her dark blue eyes taking mental notes of the ice horse's unique and captivating ability to freeze a decent amount of water around them to form sturdy bridge made of ice. As usual, Navy is able to execute his orders without any problems. Airi shifts her head back towards her Gardevoir, making sure that she is still capable of holding up the wires with her psychic powers. "You're doing great, Latte. Keep it up." She encourages her. She then signals for Bean to swim them over to the icy bridge that Navy and his Pokémon managed to build. She carefully slides down from Bean's back, being careful not to slip on the slippery ice underneath her feet.

"Nice job, Navy. I knew that I could count on you," she smiles at him, giving him a quick pat on his back. "No need to worry, I am not too clumsy," she assures him even though she is also appreciative of his kind warning. "I do have another idea that should help us to get everyone else across the bridge a lot quicker. Of course, I will need Slow Dancer's help, too." She tells him, taking out another Poke Ball, then releasing her Leavanny. "Bean, I need you to use Hydro Pump and stay cause to Slow Dancer. Ginseng, I need you to use your Confusion to mold the water into the shape of a sled. Lastly, once the ice complete freeze the shape into place I will need Mint to use Slash to carve out some of the ice," she commands her Pokémon.

Bean shoots a powerful blast of water from his mouth, and Ginsing uses his psychic powers to mold the ice into the shape of a sled. The water molecules soon solidify and take the form of an ice sled. Mint then steps forth, using her powerful bladed arms to carve out some of the ice to make room for the humans to fit on the sled as well as to smooth out its edges to make it easier to glide across the ice bridge. "Alright, Navy... If Slow Dancer is willing, tie this rope to its staddle and have Slow Dancer to carry them across the bridge. You can lead them from the front, and I will bring up the rear," she tells him. Her Slowbro and Swampert make a quick dive in the water on opposite sides just in case something does go wrong, and someone ends up in the water. Cream will remind in the air to keep an eye on them from above, but also to offer Latte any assistance if she needs up needing it.

Airi azure eyes lights up with excitement in response to Elise's words. "Yes! Those are good ones, too!" She says, probably a little too loudly due to the overwhelming amount of fieriness building up inside of her body just from their conversation. It is not too after Airi finds someone else, who is not afraid to admit their love for shoujo manga. Airi laughs a little bit Elise, watching the Calyrex take interest in the wide spread of shouja manga. Bean soon joins Charles, not that the little Mudkip understand what is going on at the moment. He simply wants to be curious and wishes to explore something new.

"Whoa! That's pretty awesome! You must have a crystal heart for such a rare Pokémon to take interest in you." Airi tells her, another warm smile making its way across her lips. She does not receive an unwelcoming spirit around her. In fact, she can sense that the other young lady seems to have a gentle soul and clever mind. It should be no surprise to anyway why the Calyrex made the ultimate decision to trust Elise. "No worries, this kind of stuff happens sometimes. Especially, when you're trying to multitask," she smiles at Elise.

Airi arches her eyebrows at Elise's mention of the word "princess." "Wait, huh? You are a princess?" She asks her, her eyes widening even more as she takes in the appearance of Elise. She does have the personality of pure-hearted princess, and she also has a distinguished air of confidence surroundings her, too. "I can't believe. Today must be my lucky day! I've meet a Calyrex and a Princess," she adds, still clearly in shock from all of the information she recently received from Elise.

"You did great, Mint!" Airi praises her Pokémon for her victory. "We shouldn't have to worry about it bothering us anymore," she adds, watching the Crawdaunt make a run for it. For a moment, she finds herself wondering if the Crawdaunt was a Wild Pokémon or if it belongs to a hidden trainer, who is trying to prevent them from finding the mysterious documents. Either way, she will keep a watchful eye on everything around them.

Airi laughs at Rex's question. "Oh, I am sure it was a female," she teases him, shifting her attention back towards him as she watches his Togepi waddling its cute and adorable hands around until it manages to strike the wall with a powerful Brick Break. The perfect move to use for this event. It is either their lucky day, or Rex's Togepi is extremely well-trained.

"Whoa, don't let those files and folders hit the floor!" Airi yelled out, rushing into grab as many files and folders as she can before any of them have a chance to make contact with the soaking, wet floor.
