Bean's protective barrier soon fades away as Queen Zing's wings comes to a cease. It takes a few minutes for Airi's sensitive ears to stop ringing, but she is soon able to better hear Shalin's words after a moment. "Oh, umm... Well, to make a long story short... I was almost stung by a colony of Beedrill when I was a little girl," she explains to Shalin. In a sense, she supposes it could be due to their stringers or maybe it has something to do with their aggressive behaviors. Not that all Beedrill are aggressive, right?

"Someday I do hope that I will be able to get over this fear of bee Pokémon," she adds. However, she is unsure if she will be able to overcome her fear anything too soon, but she does hope that Shalin will be understanding about it. She also hopes that Queen Zing does not become offended by her.

Airi nods her head in agreement with the student's comment about the foul air flowing around them. She takes the collar of her ranger uniform and covers her nose to prevent her from inhaling a lot of the polluted air surrounding them. Her deep sapphire eyes taking a careful glance of the motor-like Pokémon trapped within the murky waters. The poor things are so overwhelmed by the mixture of emotions rushing throughout their bodies and it causes them to act out aggressively towards others.

"I believe so. They are not too common around these parts of the city," she explains to Cass. The two of them will have to work together to calm the Wild Pokémon down, then rescue them from the filthy waters. Cass must have read Airi's body, because the younger female did not waste any time using her Fairy-type's moves to calm them down enough for Airi to carry out the next plan. "Matcha, pull them out!" She commands her Venusaur. The Grass/Poison-type uses his strong vines to wrap around the Revavroom and Varoom body to eject them out of the mud. The Poison/Steel-types let out a couple of loud noises. This time, the noises are not aggressive. Perhaps, the motor-like creatures were thanking them for rescuing them.

Airi recalls Matcha back to his Poke Ball before taking another Poke Ball from around her waist, tossing it into the air to release her Pyukumuku. She extends her arms out to catch the falling sea cucumber. "Now that we have solved the case, I believe it is safe to clean this place up a bit." she states, uncovering her mouth. "Cucumber use Purify!" She orders it. The sea cucumber lets out a soothing cry before releasing a shimmering mist from her body, purifying the air and the water around them.

Bean's fearsome tidal wave is enough to overpower the opponents' death-dealing tidal bore, and it even manages to push them back a bit, too. Of course, it does not last for too long. Luckily for Airi and Bean, Vortigern and Navy did not hesitate to bring into action. Airi's piercing sapphire orbs widening with admiration as she watches Navy make quick work of the death angels. The raw power of the Sygna Suit is beautiful sight to behold. Someday, she dreams of obtaining one of her own. "Welcome back. It's good to see that the cavern did not get the best of you," she says to Navy, giving him a playful smirk.

Her attention is soon shifted towards their opponents, watching them charge up for their next move. "Stay behind us. We will block this one. You two be prepared to strike," Airi tells Navy and his Pokémon. "Bean! Protect!" She calls out to the Swarmpert. Bean lets out a loud roar, summoning an emerald force field to protect his friends and himself from the powerful energy beams jetting towards them.

Bean lets out a couple of low grunts as the dazzling beams of light makes contact against his impenetrable barrier. "Hang in there, Bean! A little while longer!" Airi encourages her loyal partner. She then glances back at Navy, giving him a confident smirk. "Are you ready to wreak havoc again or are those old bones of yours too tired?" She asks him between a cunning smirk. Does not completely understand it, but she enjoys teasing him even during the most crucial events. Perhaps, it is simply a way for her to distract herself from the dangers happening around them or it could be she wishes to keep her friends in good spirits.

Airi stands outside of the entrance of the Giant Chasm. The Ranger Nurse has been assigned to explore the tundra area in search of finding a specific plant for Arctozolt. Apparently, the eccentric fossil creature has a strict diet it follows at all times or else it refuses to eat anything else. According to the researchers, the Arctozolt has not eaten any food for the past few days due its favorite meal not being available for it due to the researchers not being equipped to explore the dangerous of Giant Chasm to restock. Luckily for Airi, she has at least made one visit to the Giant Chasm, and she has a clear understanding of the dangers that awaits her inside. Her mind starts to drift off to the last time she explored the frosted area and rescued her Cetitan from being devoured by a sleuth of Beartic.

Her deep thoughts are soon interrupted at the sound of the Arctozolt's cry, the Electric/Ice-type becoming slightly impatient with waiting outside of the entrance. "You are hungry, I understand. I promise, we will be able to go inside in a few more minutes," she explains, giving the Arctozolt a gentle pat on its head. It was told to her that she will be pairing up with another Ranger. However, she does not even have the name of another Ranger, who is supposed to be assisting her with this task. She does hope that whoever it is will arrive soon enough or else she will be tempted to complete the mission on her own.

She summons her Rotom Phone, swiping through her photos until she finds a picture of the mysterious plant that Arctozolt seems to love eating. The Pokémon lets out a cheerful cry as its eyes make contact with the picture, too. A couple of soft giggles escapes from Airi's lips as she glances away from the device and shifts her attention towards the Arctozolt. "This is it, huh?" She asks it. Arctozolt nods its head before making an attempt to lick her Rotom Phone's screen. The smart phone lets out a surprised screen before zooming out of the way of the ancient creature's tongue. Airi giggles and shakes her head at the sight taking place in front of her.

Airi gives Cass a soft and comforting smile. "Sorry if the Gyarados startle you... To be honest I probably would have been a little startled myself, too. If I had not noticed the sign of Wild Pokémon resurfacing from the water," she shares with her. It also helps that she is a ranger, and she has the ability to think quickly on her feet even during the most challenging times. She nods her head and smiles at Cass and her fairy-type as she watches the Aromatherapy heal the Gyarados from its poisoned and sleep status. The Gyarados wakes up with a roar, but it is a lot gentler than the last one. "You should feel a lot better now. Please be more careful and try to avoid swallowing any Black Sludge or swimming too close to any of it," she tells the Gyarados, giving it a small pat on its head before it takes a dive inside of the water.

"Yup! Let's get a move on. We do not want to risk any other Wild Pokémon becoming effected by the Black Sludge," she responds, leading them towards the path ahead. As the duo continue to move further along the path, Airi's keen eyes takes noticed of a trail of dark ooze a few feet in front of them. "We may not even need to use your fishing rod after all," she says, pointing towards the trail of dark ooze.

Airi smiles watching her sea cucumber's shimmering mist fight off the black mold and restoring the walls and ceilings back to their original state, of not even better. "Good job, Cucumber." The Ranger Nurse smiles down at her, then returning her back to her Poké Ball.

"Thanks, Thomas. You were great, too!" She tells her. She has to admit the two of them make quite the duo. "Sounds like a good idea. I will assess them for any injuries or complications," she assures him. She then starts to lead them back towards the boat. She does not waste any time with providing every with medical treatment with the assistant of her Slowbro.

A rush of loneliness rushes over Airi's body the moment her trusted partner dashes off inside a mysterious cavern. The eerie and melancholy lullaby of negative comments echos through her sensitive ears. You are too weak. You will never defeat us all. Today is the day... You will die. Alone, you will die. Her heart feels like it is about to burst out of her chest. She feels her lungs becoming even tighter, making it difficult for her to breathe. She wishes to be anywhere, but here. However, escape is not an option. She has an extremely important mission to follow, and it is to keep everyone else safe. Bean's crest starts to vibrate a bit, as it seems the powerful emotions are almost suffocating her. He lets out a loud roar as he reaches out to touch her hand. His roar and soft touch seem to be more than enough to snap his trainer back to her senses. Sheh inhales, then exhales a few deep breaths. "Thanks, Bean." She glances over at her aquatic titan, giving him a warm smile.

Airi straightens out her body as she takes an authoritative and powerful stance. Her icy-cold sapphires were piercing at the angels of death, daring them to come even closer towards her or her friends. Vortigern is able to quickly work out a decent amount of them. Unfortunately, this is not enough to intimidate them or prevent them from moving even closer towards them. The tidal wave of purple ooze smells of death, and it churns her stomach a bit, but she keeps her composure. Despite the gloomy and solitary environment all around her, she is not alone.

"Bean, use Surf!" Airi calls out to her Pokémon. The Swampert's eyes start to glow a stunning blue as he summons a massive wave of water before hoping on top of it. It rides the powerful wave towards his opponent, allowing it to collide with their own tidal wave and allowing it to crash down on them. Leaping out of the wave, Bean then starts to hammer away at some of the fallen angels with his toughen fists to deliver multiple Rock Smashs. that could potentially crack their bodies and cause them to crumble into clouds of dust from the impact.

Airi's piercing cerulean orbs carefully scans over her surrounding as she wades through the semi-flooded room. It appears that Thomas and she have arrived on the scene just in time. She takes out a Poké Ball of her own to release her Swampert, Bean. "Bean, help guide them to the boat," she instructs him. The massive axolotl-like creature nods his head as he follows her trainer's order.

"It's time to take care of the mold," she says to Thomas, taking out another Poké Ball and tossing it into the air to release her Pyukumuku. She extends her arms out to catch the sea cucumber, then pulls it closer towards her body. "Purify," she orders it. The Pyukumuku releases a purifying mist to clean away the dangerous mold.
