A shoal of graceful Horsea dances around Airi as she swims towards a shiny object at the bottom of the ocean. She cannot fully tell what it is that she trying to reach, but she has faith that it will be something special. Something that she can claim as her own.

For a few seconds, Airi almost forgot John's Pokémon gave them the ability to communicate with each other using telepathy. She nods her head at his words before swimming a little closer towards the entrance. It does not take her long to realize that massive cargo box or something seems to be blocking the entrance. She glances over at Bean, signaling for him to clear their pathway.

The Swampert raises his powerful arm, smashing the box into small pieces and granting them access inside of the building. Airi thanks her Pokémon, then continues to swim deeper inside. "I don't know how much further we will have to travel inside building, but it doesn't seem like we're close to what we were searching for just yet," she tells John. She cannot help, but to feel as if something or someone is watching them from a distance.

Josh has a lot of achievements to be proud of in Airi's opinion. Therefore, she did not mind her new friend self-esteem increasing a bit more. Someday, she also hopes to make some achievements of her own. Outside of becoming a Ranger Nurse, of course.

"Mhm! My Dragonite loves to fly at high speed!" She shared with Josh. She closes her eyes for a few seconds to imagine herself flying high in the sky with her beloved dragon. Her mocha-hued hair dancing in the wind and her adrenaline rushing quite a bit. "May someday," she responds to Josh. She admires his love for riding Pokémon. However, she would be lying, if she told him that she feels that passionate about riding them. She does not mind riding them from time to time. However, she wants her Pokémon to feel free as possible without having to bear the weight of a human mounting them for a long period of time.

"Mhm! It takes a lot of skills and knowledge!" She responded back to Josh's comment. It is not an easy task, but it helps that she is familiar with the physiology of various Pokémon due to her nursing background. "Josh, would you like to grab some ice cream once we're doing having fun in the water?" She asked him, a gentle smile curled against her lips.

A slight blush shown against her high cheekbones for a few seconds after she realized she misunderstood John's words. Well, at least it did not seem to take offense to her words. In fact, he seems to get a little bit of a laugh out of it. "Ah, sorry. I suppose I took it upon myself to assume how you are feeling," she admitted, rubbing the back of her neck. Still words of encouragement are still great, right?

"Pleasure to meet you, too, John." She smiled at him. "Let's make this mission a quick one. I do not wish to keep you too long. I am sure you have better things to do, right?" She giggled, her piercing blue eyes glancing over at the at mysterious Bug/Psychic-type Pokémon. She gives the Orbeetle a friendly smile and a quick head nod. "Good idea!" She responded to John's words.

Airi and Bean gave John a little bit of time to catch up with them before diving a little bit deeper inside of the water. The two of them have been asked to search for important artifacts or resources that will be useful for research purposes. Unfortunately, Airi does not fully know where those objects may be found just yet. Luckily, she was given a device is useful for searching for missing items underwater. She takes the device and scans it over their area. A red flashing light along with a few beep noises soon starts to happen with the device. She takes a careful glance around their surroundings, finding abandoned building not too far away from them. Perhaps, the hidden treasure is resting within it. Airi gives John a hand gesture, encouraging him to follow her inside of the building.

Airi zipped up her diving suit before using her dainty hands to smooth out the fabric against her modelesque frame. The mocha-haired beauty turned her attention towards her partner, allowing her deep sapphire blue orbs to contact with his eyes for a few seconds. "If the League felt that you were inadequate to take on this mission, then they would have recommended you for this task. Have more faith in yourself," she told him, a warm and gentle smile curled against her soft lips. To be honest, this mission is a little outside of her comfort zone, too. However, she will push herself through it in order to better herself.

Airi then moved a little closer towards John, gently placing her right hand against his shoulder. "Inhale and exhale. You can do this!" She encouraged him. She gave his shoulder a quick pat before removing her hand and placing it back down to her side. Her brilliant azure eyes shifted towards the ocean as she found her minding starting to drift off a bit. She has no idea who or what will be waiting for them underneath the surface.

"Please, call me Airi." She told him. No need to be too proper with her. Besides, she understands that her last name can be a little bit of tongue twister for others. "Mhm. After being a ranger for a while you will gain a lot of experiencing doing a little bit of other thing," she responded to his previous question. She then withdrew one of her Poke Ball and released her Swampert. She glanced back over at John. "Stay close, watch your surroundings at all times, breath normally, and know your limits. If you start to feel too uneasy or if you need to resurface for whatever reason, give me a thumbs down or some sort of hand gesture," she encouraged them. She hopes that her tips will be helpful to him.

"We should get a move on. If you do not have a water-type of your own then feel more than free to hang on to Bean," she gave him another smile before taking a graceful dive off the boat and into the deep blue alongside her Swampert.

Airi closes her eyes. I wish, I wish with all of my heart to dive with Kingdra in the land of heart. She thinks to herself becoming taking a dive underneath the crystal-clear water in hopes of finding a new treasure.

Her face is still a bit sore and reddish from her last failure attempt. However, that does not stop Airi from hopping on Kite's back. She straightens her body out as she prepares to stick a Primarina Twist!

Airi smiles, then nods her head at Josh. "Awesome! I will be sure to check out the video during my downtime," she tells him. "And it is always good to have something that you can depend on to cheer you up during bad times," she adds, giving flashing him another gentle smile pressing against her sweet lips. She soon finds her mind drifting off for a moment. Will I ever be able to face off against the Elite Four? She asks herself, softly chewing against her bottom lip for a few seconds.

"Struggle following the speed?" She asks him. She is not sure if he is preferring to his gym challenge or his Pokémon's swift movements in battle. She nods her head as listens to his recommendations. A weather theme gym could be quite difficult for a first timer. A fighting type gym may not be too bad, since she will know which types she will be facing off against in opposed to Josh's gym. "Lots of options," she giggles a bit, still undecided in regard to which gym she will choose to challenge first.

She makes a mental note in her head regarding the information that Josh shared with her about his gym. Swift Pokémon can be a challenge to face off against in battle. However, Airi is able to think of a couple of strategies she could use to counter his battle tactics whenever she does decide to challenge him. She also recalls Josh making mention that a lot of trainers choose to challenge his gym first, too. Perhaps, those trainers were able to come up with a clear strategy to counter his agile Pokémon, too.

A warm smile curls against Airi's lips as she listens to Josh speak about his legendary Pokémon. "Even though I have not seen you two battle alongside each other, I still can sense a close bond between the two of you," she adds, her smile spreading a bit wider against her lips. She feels her body becoming less tense. She glances down at her Dreepy, taking notice that she still seems to be holding on to her shirt.
