Keiko's helped to her feet by Rex and barely has a chance to return Milly to her pokeball when Mr. Business is there. She seems to perceive in slow motion, his strike, but her limbs are molasses. He slams into her ribs and breath leaves her in a wheeze. [break][break]

Winded, she curls over herself as she stumbles back from him, prey instincts taken over. She's hurt, but she embodies perseverance, and she came to Hoenn for the sake of this very mission, and that means she needs - [break][break]

Her fingers wrap around a pokeball and she tosses it carelessly. Audino appears, and its endless empathy immediately picks up on the situation. "P-please." It's not clear if she's speaking to Audino or Mr. Business. Audino mega-evolves and faces Mr. Business defiantly, opening her mouth for a hyper voice to push him back. [break][break]

A fight seems like a terrible idea, but running isn't working so well. These two are undoubtedly psychopaths, especially with the cockier of the two taunting them over old trainer etiquette. She spares a glance at Rex, wondering what the gameplan is.
