THE LEADER

After his tenure in kyle lopez's minor league, Cian has since been promoted and will be following after his old mentor ALEXANDER STONE's footsteps and taking up the mantle of being Rustboro's gym leader. The position comes with additional responsibilities that involve overseeing the general welfare of the city.[break][break]

In a soon to be released interview with HBS, Cian speaks of his time in Rocket, ultimately advocating against them and everything they stand for. (This is set after the events of PAAA).

The award for successfully completing a challenge at the Rustboro Weather Gym will now reward trainers with a WEATHER BADGE.

THE GYM

Among one of the oldest buildings in Rustboro, the weather gym resides within the city limits, allowing trainers from all over the world to come and train, battle, and learn. The gym hosts regular seminars and workshops all with the purpose of education the world's next generation of trainers.

The main area is a wide space that consists of varying terrains to compliment different weather conditions. Challengers are able to utilize the space and terrain as they see fit. This allows for a more realistic battle which is also meant to be educational for the future.

THE CHALLENGE

TRADITIONAL FORMAT[break][break]
Two (2) pokemon each in a 1v1 OR 2v2 format. Both of your opponent's pokemon must be knocked out to determine a victor.

Rustboro does not hold non-traditional challenges.

RULES & REGULATIONS

‣ All challenges are recorded for educational purposes. They are not publicized unless initially agreed upon during sign-ups.[break][break]

‣ There are NO banned moves or abilities. This is subject to change pending the result of challenges.[break][break]

‣ If a Challenger does not reply within SEVEN DAYS they are subject to thread archival. Challengers can opt for a one time SEVEN DAY extension.[break][break]

‣ Alternatively, if the Gym Leader does not reply within SEVEN DAYS, the challenger may be authorized to receive the badge.[break][break]

‣ No known members of Rocket are authorized to challenge this gym. Please note that your aliases/personas will need to be airtight due to Cian's history with Rocket. A list of names will be made as they come to be known.[break][break]

‣ Challengers are NOT allowed to permanently harm, maim, or kill. Furthermore, no-one is to cause permanent destruction or damage, or act with blatant disregard for the area around them.[break][break]

‣ No legendries, ultra beasts, etc. are allowed to be fielded without prior approval. This includes AVATAR ABILITIES. Communicating with your legendary through telepathy, or some other form that does NOT require having it on the field is AUTHORIZED.
