It's body was etched into this wall, it had tasted pain over, and over again. That was no longer a reason to not fight, and so it pried itself out of the wall.

Pain would not stop it anymore, and so it launched itself at the Rhyperiors back as it approached Gaius, Metal Claws extended, and attempting to rend unsuspecting flesh.

Meanwhile Gaius watched, his heart pounding with excitement at the appearance of a strong foe. This is why he came here, the strong attracted the strong. This would be a proper bout, and he would relish every second of it.

There was a battle, a horrendously beautiful, and savage battle between some mountain of ice, and those that would try to stop it.

It had called to him here, this fight. He felt it in his blood, and he was on his way to enter the fray. Flying pieces of metal crashed next to him as if warning him to turn back, but he didn't. He pressed forward, this is what he lived for. This is what he would die for.

Though fate would have other plans as before he could close the distance a new challenger would approach him. A pokemon with drills protruding from it.

This wasn't the fight he had been looking for, but it was the fight he would take.

His Lucario stepped forward it's claws extending with metallic menace, and it bared it's fangs to the challenger.

He failed the first trick, but failure would not stop him, nor would it ever stop him. So he reigned in that Mantine, ignoring the pain on his skin from their fall, and attempted another Primarina Twist

This was boring. 

Diving was boring. 

This was no place for him, and so he was about to leave, but then he heard it. The large resounding roar of a pokemon, and there was another pokemon or was it a collection of pokemon combined? 

This was something he wasn't familiar with but it was intriguing. It was intriguing enough for him to not leave this godforsaken place. So silently he watched.

A flash of light surrounded his body and that of his location, and then they were gone. The fight had been interrupted, and that infuriated him more than anything.

Now he had been put in front of two people that he didn't recognize. A small girl and someone else, they were new fights for him to take his anger out on since the other refused to let him have his way.

"You must be my new opponents..."

A new presence arrived on the field, and his leg shot out towards the creature. Whether it hit or not didn't matter.

The enemies punch landed on his jaw, and the reverberated through his skull, but he smiled. Rearing his head back he attempted to headbutt the man as hard as he could.

"Yes, good! More, give me more!" he smiled insanely enjoying this more than he probably should.

Staff against blade continued to clash but neither Gaius nor his hound were ready for what would happen.

He was new to this place, this strange region where the strong came together for some reason. This place where you could be grinded down into your core elements, and be freer than you were before. However due to his relatively new arrival status, he had few resources.

So he would dive into this water in an attempt to get some.

No he probably wouldn't, but it would still be a good time to try, and train. So he would use as that.

On the back of his 'borrowed' Mantine mount he would attempt to do this so called Primarina Twist. If he failed it would resort in him just getting wetter than he already was. A small price to pay.

Pain meant that you had not yet achieved victory.

So he embraced the kick, the pain that thrummed through his leg, and he grinned wide enough to reveal teeth. He reared back with his left fist, and sent another hook to his opponent. The anger his opponent felt only incensing him further.

"Yes, don't hold back!" The words came out excitedly as he continued to wail on his enemy. They had to be holding back their strength, they had more to burn, and he wanted to see it all!

The Aqua Cutter would find purchase in the Lucario, but much like it's master it would not be deterred, and so keeping it's staff ready it rushed forward again to deliver a flurry of blows.

Champion of the region? A poodle with a crown then.

"Hmmmm...." The sound was bored coming from his lips. Metal was deflected by water, an then a staff of energy appeared in the hands of his hound, and Lucario began to Bone Rush the bladed knight in front of him.

"I have no issue." He answered the question perhaps too honestly as he watched the battle before him, but his blood was thrumming, and he hated standing on the sidelines. So he rushed at the other man while their pokemon battled, and swung a right hook to his face. "Show me your strength."

Why was he here? The weak sought the protection of the strong, and this was no longer a place for saving. It was a hunting ground. A Gallade was a worthy opponent, but only if it's wielder was competent.

So he removed himself from the shadows, skulking towards the server room that they had just cut open, with his Lucario by his side.

"Are you strong?" Came the three words, and with no further introduction, no further speech his Lucario lunged towards the pair Metal Claws extended to rend the flesh, and sinew from his prey.
