It's after the fifth pokémon they have to fend off that Katharina surfaces alongside Froschl, frowning thoughtfully. "Those pokémon here are really persistent, huh?" they ponder, before shrugging. "I think I saw something a bit north to here."

Katharina winces at the painful-looking faceplant on the floor, but doesn't immediately rush to help the other - that comes a heartbeat later, as the pokémon nurse offers the other a hand. "Ouch, are you okay? But hey, at least you're not too wet ..." She says, having rolled up her trouser legs up a notch and another notch, but the dark water stains are definitely still visible to a degree.

"We should probably see about getting that fixed, actually ... Not sure how, but I guess Froschl's sticky slime might do it in a pinch," she murmurs after making sure that the other doesn't have any injuries that need treating. Her main specialty are pokémon, but if you've been in a pokémon center enough, you learn how to fix up people, too - it's not too uncommon for both trainer and pokémon to end up being in a Condition.

"Hi, I'm Katharina by the way!" she introduces herself, and then points to her Froggiursa (see: Teddiursa) by her side. "That's Froschl, and this one's Concrete. Maybe she could help as well ... as long as we can get the materials from construction else. She won't give up that log no matter what," she thinks aloud, and points at the Timburr that she just called out of her ball.

16. Reinforce buildings or other structures with your pokemon.

"Perfect!" Katharina says, only regarding the odd look of the kid for a moment. There's probably stuff to unpack here that she doesn't have the time for, not with the injured pokémon that are nearby and in need of assistance.

"Do you see this Charmander here? It's flame has gone very weak. We need to get it starting again so it'll feel better ... can you wipe it down with a towel while I take care of its tail? So it doesn't have to spend all that heat to get dry in the first place," she explains what they'd have to do first. The Charmander, similiar to the sad flame on its tail, looks extremely dejected, depressed and sad.

29. Offer quick training or guidance to less experienced team members or other individuals.

The humanoid shape tells Katharina that this is indeed a human being, but she blinks ... "You swam here?" All things considered, swimming should probably be better than boats, and the cutoff could ... There's some calculations running in her mind as she processes someone way more athletic than they are, before she shakes her head. "Hope you're not exhausted yet because yep, we got a nest in danger. I'm Katharina! I was told to patch up the pokémon here - I think - but ..."

They look up again. It's not looking too hot. However, there's at least one more idea. "Oh, Froschl! You can use some of your sticky slime to reinforce the floor at least, right?" The stickyness which is definitely frog-like and not honey at all.

The Froggiursa (see Teddiursa) nods and makes an almost ribbit-like sound, working on using the sticky substance on his hands (and body, frankly) to reinforce the debris with it.

"Do you have an idea how to get the nest down?"

Katharina is tech-savy when it comes to big machinery powered by several electric types, directed and processed by Metagross and Porygon2s, but this device in her hand is. A bit beyond her. However, time is ticking and she really needs help.

"Alright, little ones, buckle up close," she tells the Duckletts, inviting them to huddle closer on that small islands of persistent and precarious debris. How she got here? Don't ask. Pulling something here, doing something there ... and a signal flare flies up ahead. She freezes at its sight, slightly perplexed.

Oh, hopefully this hasn't attracted any other pokémon while they're waiting for backup ...

09. Use signaling methods to call for additional support.

"That's not too bad ..." Katharina murmurs after two successful attempts, patting the Mantine for helping and carrying. "Wanna go for another one of those?" The Mantine chirps in agreement, and they start taking off towards another wave!

While the duo might not notice the trail of honey, it's truly hard to ignore the many pokémon that catch a whiff of this strange occurance and start following them. Confused, Katharina frowns as Froschl fights off another pokémon interrupting their dive - really strange.

"Well." Katharina surpresses a swear as she looks at the mess in front of her. She's simply gotten a rough ping with a location where she should head next, and surely enough, she's found the injured nest of Pelipper and Wingull - it's also almost dangling within reach, just hanging on by a mere thread ... the problem is she can't get there, with the debris blocking her path, and the general vicinity looking very unsafe.

She grabs one pokéball. For once, she is aware of the risk because she's taking the risk every time she needs to move long distances, and Natu is really unreliable- Footsteps! "Ah, were you sent here to help-?" she immediately turns around and asks, determined to make that person help if at all possible.

Honestly, the child is not helping the Ghost allegations. Gladly, Katharina is somewhat of an expert in all things superpokénatural - she believes firmly that she'd know a ghost if she properly interacted with one. "Nevermind. But I did know if you suddenly disappear - which, please don't," she quickly adds, frowning slightly before the edges of her expression soften.

She takes off her working gloves, gesture for the kid to come closer. "Think it's better if you're going elsewhere - but that's also kinda hard. Wanna keep with me 'till one of the ranger bigshots come? Are you hurt anywhere? Need anything? If you want to lend me a hand, you can do that, too - I'm a nurse, you see, and I've got to patch some of these up again."

Gladly nothing too difficult yet.

"Let's go again," Katharina announces after they reach calmer waters again. The Mantine seems surprised at the little recovery time needed - which is also not true, as the nurse wobbles on the Mantine as they hit another wave. But, less thought is better in her case! Probably!

Froschl doesn't seem to mind too much, however, and simply gives a thumbs-up. "Alright." And down they go! They swim pretty much side by side, so it's not like Kat would actually notice the trail of honey-sweet-salty that follows as some of the honey washes off, and maybe attracts some other pokémon ...

"Are you lost?" she eventually turns to the young teen while putting on a firm bandage on an injured pokémon. "It's real dangerous here, so you should leave asap." She doesn't dare leave the child out of sight of her vision, fearing that it might disappear as quickly as it appeared - and well.

"You're not a ghost, are you?"
