Branwen looks quite shocked - flabberghasted, even, at the shiny Eevee's proposal. It sounds ... so simple yet possibly effective, and definitely worth a try ... maybe? "Huh ... no I've not yet tried," she thusly remarks in turn with a shaking of her head. How did she not think of it herself? But this truly proves that perhaps, there is something not quite right with her mind right now, it's much more scatter-brained than usually.[break]

Forest, Ghosts, and Grasps(HGT)

Though Islwyn wouldn't necessarily describe herself as particularly curious, there is also ... an intrigue that even she cannot quite ignore all the time. Thinking it would be better to rest at home - thinking it would be fine to stay behind and to hear the tales that others bring to her homely abode ... It all seems to crumble a little in the face of someone as fierce and determined as Keiko, and ultimately, as shovel comes to shove, she does expresses her interest and in the distant of the night, they are off to explore. Leaving the Fomantis and the Applin at home, she is only accompanied by two of her Pokémon, with the Eldegoss floating freely alongside in this eerie atmosphere where darkness seems to fall even more than usual.[break]

It's strange, how something that should be familiar in some way appears to be not, how the absence of light can cause such a disruption to her perception. It makes her scurry closer to the other, eyes wandering in the dark that even with adjusted eyes, does not seem to reveal too much. "Hm ... beyond Ghost Pokémon, you mean? I'm not quite sure," she answers into the dark, her usually soft voice turning even quieter in this silence where every word weighs heavily, "what about you? I also do not think we spotted anything unusual ... apart from the fact that it is even harder to make things out."

To be honest, Branwen is fully ready to fight - it's somewhat enscribed in her being, one could say, that she throws a good punch in case needed, even as she isn't fully feeling it in this moment. After all, it's not like she is mad at the Eevee, necessarily, not at all, but ... She sighs once more. "Really sorry about that again ... been on a pretty bad nap streak," she mutters, still feeling the need to kick lightly against a leaf nearby, barely lifting it from the ground this time.[break]

"I just feel - so very - at unease. Like, really not so great, it's - urgh. I can't nap!" the Fomantis stutters forth from the feelings that threaten to overtake the more she thinks about it, the more she actually puts words into this world. Life is just so infinitely unfair! What is even going on? Why does she even need to feel anything other than having a good nap?! (Unaware that 'napping' is no emotion. Probably.)

Believing is such a hard thing to do. There is nothing that should betray her eyes in this very moment - the sun shining brightly on this wondrous day that had brought back what she thought to have lost for so long, yet couldn't help but look back, stuck in the very past she was left in. Even now, Islwyn isn't quite sure if 'bringing back' is even such a thing ... There is no certainty past this moment, after all, nothing that would safely predict how things would be going from here. She could only give the other a gentle smile, happy over this one moment, unable to discard the feelings that surge. "No ... well, maybe," the forest ranger answers honestly, eyes averting a little as her voice reveals the truth, tender as it goes with the late autumn breeze. "I was hoping you wouldn't."[break]

The other question feels lighter - at least in her eyes, as she looks back into Keiko's eyes, nodding with a smile, humming, "yeah ... I've ... never quite moved away." Still, her words carry a heavier tone, as if to say something other than the words she spoke. You wouldn't have to look far, if you ever looked for me. If you ever wanted to find me ... I'm still here.[break]

But there is curiosity in her eyes when the other mentions her stay being for the foreseeable - something akin to hope glimmering, if only - but then again ... "Oh - are you ... do you wish to come by more often?" Islwyn asks before being able to think about what she just uttered, "you could ... if you want, we could - catch up over some tea? Maybe?" And as if lured, drawn in spellbound, she walks towards the shadow - the tangential being from her past, of her current present, though not fully embracing, waiting for Keiko to close the gap, should she really so desire. There is a distance of years between them, after all.

The interaction, although the situation proves itself to be rather dire, is a sweet one to observe, making the forest ranger smile gently upon the four of them. Teamwork is pretty crucial in most scenarios, after all, and coordinating attacks belongs to it just as much as knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses, the limits that each imposes on themself and whether or not one would be willing to push past such things, ready to embark on the next journey. Islwyn, for once ... well. She does favour the peace of the status quo, sometimes maybe a little too much.[break]
[break]
Though Eldegoss can cover a huge view from the ground, it's difficult to detect the finer details on earth that way, though a certain scent enables her to navigate alongside the Lopunny, clumsy as they may be, towards something that looks like a solid clue. A large footprint ... "It definitely does not belong to the forest," Islwyn is quick to agree with the other, racking her brain over where she saw something similar like this ... "I think the thieves are using Krookodiles - three, perhaps, from what I can tell," she eventually remarks after a few more detections, glancing over the variety of footprints that exist. It seems ... doable enough, and they should have some type advantages at least if the thieves have nothing else to show.[break]

"Shall we confront them head-on, or do you feel more comfortable with a stealthy approach?" she asks, wanting to ensure that Usagi would be fine with the plan they are doing as they proceed to further approach the gang of no-goods.

Branwen, in all her white-hot fury over anything and nothing - especially something she just isn't aware of -, did not notice the shiny Eevee that just wanted to take a nap. In fact, it couldn't have been further from her mind to disturb someone else's nap, but ... of course, a perfectly bad day just had to get a lot worse, just like that. "Oh! Oh. Oh, sorry," she lets out after a moment of pause, looking suddenly a lot less angry than she was before, but there is still something in the way she is frowning that reveals how dissatisfaction seeps into every cell of her being, "I did not see you, please do nap on."[break]

But even as she says it, the Fomantis' mind seems quite elsewhere as she only stares at the pile of leaves that she now disrupted, the spot of sunny grass - and she sighs, long and loud.

Lately, Branwen has been feeling ... agitated.[break]

Normally, she wouldn't even be awake at this time of the day, when the sun is shining so warmly and happily that it just invites to another day to sleep through until she can feel energised in the evening. But lately ... lately ... lately, things have not been the same. Thus, even as the sun is standing warmly on its peak, as she sees that her trainer is busy with some other matters, she just hops off and about. There must be something out there that she is missing ...![break]

Oh no ... Never would he have ever considered the fate of a bad name ...! He likes his own name so much that it never occurred his mind much that there could be individuals that don't like theirs! A name is like - like something they all have to carry around all the time! How dare this one be given a name she doesn't even like! It rises the determination inside the Skiddo's body, nodding as they galop away. "We gotta find your name, then! Your real name!"[break]

And flying off the grasslands they go as he remarks, "hm? My name? Pryderi! It's some kind of story character! My buddy Is-lw-yn gave it to me!" He still has to go around pronouncing every syllable carefully, lest he gets them all messed up. Soon, however, he comes to a stop in front of what seems to be a home nestled around a tree. He easily cracks open the door with his hooves, walking around freely in the space, though not unlike the meme of a Phanpy in a porcelain store, kicking things off shelves and suchlike before he finally has found the space he wanted to be in. Oh! Oh! Oooooh! A mission! A ... a name, though? That doesn't sound like something he can just eat or find or sniff out. "Woah ... that's so deep," he remarks nonetheless, brilliance and sparkles settling in his eyes as he turns his head - neck around just enough, so he can do a little eye contact with the other. "So you don't have a name? That's - that's such a bummer!" He couldn't imagine not having a name.
