This was beginning to be a royal pain in the ass. But still, Rikiya found himself in line, behind other hopefuls. With each attempt came another death. At this point, he was wondering just how long it would take for someone to finally win. Hell, he doubted that he would ever do it. But something compelled him to try, regardless. If the line wasn't so long, then maybe it wouldn't be so painful.

With his turn again, Rikiya attempted to release the spectral sword from its prison.

"Yeah, not letting this shit go.", Rikiya muttered to himself, as he lined up for another horrible death.

Rikyia looked at the line ahead of him, people filing over to try to free the Honedge from its stone prison. But alas, every single attempt had ended in horrific failure, people being killed. He had to wonder if the souls the Honedge had gathered were feeding into something grander. That instead of the promised power, some sort of crazy event would take place, should the spectral blade be freed of its stone prison.

Still, Rikiya took his turn, pulling at the trapped blade, expecting another death by soul sucking.

Under the shadows of his big hat, Rikiya let out a smirk. So she had noticed that she was watching. She then revealed that her third move was Psychic, similar to his. "Interesting.", Rikiya blurted out. At the very least, Ice Beam and Psychic seemed to have some good utility to their names. He could understand what made those moves popular picks in particular. But he wanted to see just how much they had to offer in the game's setting.

"I feel you. I fucking hate boring ass tutorials.", he would tell her, before aiming for a bush, and hitting it with a Flamethrower. He saw that it caught fire, just like it would in the real world. A good attention to detail, one that was rarely seen, especially in this day and age. He had to wonder just how far this attention to detail went. Depending on the results he got, he would have a hell of a time with it.

"Any zones you thinking of hitting first after this shit's done?", he inquired, attempting to keep the conversation rolling.

"I think it's safe to say that I'm a masochist.", Rikiya muttered, as he returned to the sword in the stone. Twice he had died to the trapped Honedge. He had to wonder if the reward was worth all the hype at this point. Considering how much of a monumental pain in the ass it was to retrieve the damn thing, and how people lined up for it, it had to be good.

When it was finally his turn, Rikiya sighed, and attempted to pull at the spectral sword again, fully anticipating another death.

Rikiya would watch as a Rogue would cross the bridge. The griefer would simply watch as he used Phantom Force to make his way across the bridge. But what surprised him was a warrior charging at the Rogue, activating Clangorous Soul, before attacking him. With a wicked grin, Rikiya took the moment to grab a rock with Psychic, and attempted to fling it at the Ranger, attempting to divide his attention.

This was going to be a bad day for the Ranger for sure, and even if the Warrior turns against him, this gank would be worth it.

Rikiya's attention turned to the other mage, who was practicing her moves. She too had Ice Beam, but instead of Flamethrower, she had Fiery Dance. He had to wonder if she had Psychic like him, or if she went with a different move. But before he could get back to his game, she addressed him, asking him what sorts of attacks he was packing. "Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Psychic.", he'd tell her, before waving his wand at an object, concentrating his Psychic power, and attempting to fling the object at a Wobbuffet dummy.

Seeing as the use of Psychic was a success, he grinned widely. That would be useful for his reign of terror, when the time came. "What about you?", he'd ask in return.

"Welp, here we go again.", PKLightning420 groaned as he stood in line. Person after person would attempt to pull the sword from the stone it was trapped in. Each attempt was met with failure, and the death resulting from said failure. Internally, the griefer had to wonder if anyone had managed to pull the sword from the stone successfully, and how good the reward was. He thought it would be hilarious if the reward ended up sucking.

Once it was his turn, the mage would attempt to free the sword from the stone, most likely dying in the process.

With the new game having launched recently, Rikiya had finally found time to get started. He was looking forward to fucking with the other players on the servers, especially the PvP servers. But before he could have his fun, he had to get used to his virtual body first, and find out just what he could do.

So the cloaked mage would practice his attacks on the nearest dummy, first spraying it with flame. Once he was finished with that, he would move onto practicing his Psychic blasts. Once the flames had subsided, he decided to test an Ice Beam on the dummy, watching it frost and freeze over. Quickly coming up with an idea, Rikiya blasted it with another Flamethrower, defrosting the Wobbuffet.

He would take a break, to see what others were up to.

One of the more frustrating quests in the game was navigating a precarious bridge to Valora, with the goal of delivering an egg to an associate of the quest giver in Avia. Death would result in the player respawning in Avia, much to their chagrin. Aside from the bridge itself, the path towards the recipient was wrought with peril, with filled with precarious paths and dangerous jumps that left no room for error.

This was the perfect place for a certain player to set up shop. After managing to find an alcove to camp in, one that gave him a good vantage point of one of the more dangerous parts of the path, PKLightning420 just watched as people attempted to cross. From there, he would impede their progress by burning certain parts of the path with Flamethrower, forcing them to take an alternate route, that would result in him either freezing the ground with Ice Beam to cause them to slip to their deaths, if not outright sending them flying with a well-timed Psychic Blast.

With each player he sent back to Avia, with each bit of hatemail he received, the griefer found himself enjoying each moment more. Eventually, his fun would come to an end, this he knew, but he would make the most of this area.

Rikiya watched many come by and fail to pull the sword out of the stone. Even though it was a slim chance of retrieving the blade, Rikiya shrugged his shoulders, thinking 'why not?' After all, if he were to get the loot, he could use it to potentially fuck with other players down the line. Otherwise, there was no harm in doing this. He would just respawn if his soul was stolen.

Rikiya grabbed the sword, and attempted to yank it out of the stone.
