Things were getting way out of hand.

It all began with a witness to a prank he pulled on a friend a month ago. The girl seemed to get a good laugh out of the prank. From there, she kept appearing in places that he frequented. At first, it was believable, given similar tastes. But as she cropped up in more places he frequented, and her questions got more invasive, he had to wonder if she was stalking him. Her waiting in front of him at the entrance of his workplace, as well as the door of his apartment, especially creeped him out.

In any case, he was gonna need some help in getting this bitch off his back. Seeing no other resort, given his 'friend' were of no help, he contacted the girl he met on the blind date, Evelyn Rothschild, and asked her to meet him at a cafe. As Rikiya was making his way over, he'd notice his phone getting blown up with texts. They were the girl's texts, somehow having gotten his number, and asking him questions. "Oh for fuck's sake!", Rikiya muttered, hurrying to the cafe.

Finally, he'd rush in, spotting the dark-haired girl, and quickly taking a seat. "Yo, you gotta help me, please!", Rikiya told her urgently.

When Rikiya read the mission, he couldn't help but shake his head. Two breeders that were way in over their heads trying to breed a pair of Pangoro. The first thought that came to mind was the image of two perma-scowling bears going at it, which made the blue-haired man chortle momentarily. Of course, he also couldn't help but think back to that kid who was at the dojo all those years ago, the one who attacked him for making some girl cry. He couldn't help but wonder if this guy knew how to handle such a situation, given his experience with the species.

When Rikiya arrived at the address, he came prepared with a bag packed with some incense, aimed at giving the area a calming effect. He also looked up a brand of food that would be eaten by a Pangoro, that would add to this. Finally, he packed a speaker and a digital music player with some romantic music, because why not? Even if this part might not work, he did this mostly to amuse himself.

"Yo, Evie!", Rikiya greeted the raven-haired woman with a wave and an audacious grin. "You helping set up a good rage fuck too? I got some goods for this shit, of course!", Rikiya told her, opening up the bag with the breeding incense, special mix of food, and the speaker. He would divide the incense he bought into two smaller bags, offering one to Evelyn, while taking the other for himself. He then handed her a lighter. "Let's set this shit up!"

notes: Fuck yeah!

It was just another day off for the Devon programmer. Rikiya would be sitting in his apartment, playing on his computer. More specifically, he was making life a living hell for his teammates. The only thing keeping the screams of angry teammates from flooding through the halls of the building was the fact that he was wearing a headset. As funny as it'd be to use this on his neighbors, he didn't feel like dealing with them, or the cops today.

A knock on the door would prompt his Pikachu to pull on the leg of his jeans. Rikiya would peel the headset off his head, and get out of his chair, but not before giving the little guy an affectionate ruffle on the head. "Thanks.", he'd tell him. He would then make his way to the door, greeting the dark-haired woman from before.

"Yo, Evie, good to see ya!", Rikiya told her, being in good spirits, despite what happened days earlier. At home, the trainer was garbed little differently than he'd be, minus the fact that his boots were at the door in the designated area, his feet only covered in a pair of black socks. The inside of his apartment, though on the somewhat smaller end, looked nice enough on the inside. Everything was kept clean and organized, and the place was well-lit. "Come on inside!", he'd tell the girl, inviting her in.

Once inside, Evelyn would not only see the Pikachu that let him know she was there, but a Shinx laying on the couch lazily, an Electabuzz who was watching the TV, and a Togedemaru who was on a small play set in the corner meant for smaller Pokemon, with the Pikachu racing to join him.

Rikiya would take notice to the stuff she brought with her. "I don't know if my kitchen would be big enough, but we could always try something out.", he'd tell her.

Rikiya blinked as the woman thanked him for being late. He didn't care what she was heading up for. The man shrugged, and waited for the elevator to ascend to its destination. When the elevator would come to a sudden halt, Rikiya looked shocked. The woman in question, who sounded familiar upon hearing her talk, was more vocal with her outrage than he was with his annoyance over the malfunction.

"Great, elevator's on the shitter again.", Rikiya mumbled, before turning to the gamer. "Yo, you might wanna call whoever it is that's expecting you.", Rikiya would tell the bespectacled woman. "You mind if I vape?", he'd ask the woman nonchalantly. While he sounded calm about the situation, internally, he was annoyed that this was happening again. But knowing the elevator, it'd come back to life in ten minutes at most.

notes: Entering the elevator

The fact that the app actually spit out a date for him came out as a surprise. What started out as taking on a dare from a friend turned into a night where he was on a blind date. The Devon programmer did not expect much of the date, but since this was covered by the service, thanks to a promotion, Rikiya figured there was no harm in trying. Grabbing the nicest suit he had, a blue suit to match his hair, with a white button-up shirt and black tie worn underneath.

Rikiya would've arrived moments after his date had started vaping. But rather than being escorted via limousine like Evelyn was, Rikiya instead drove into the parking lot on his own. The trainer would make his way to the entrance, taking note of how chilly it was tonight, but persisting as he made his way in. Rikiya would soon be spotted, and escorted to the table where his date was sitting.

Upon smelling the vanilla vapor being emitted from the young woman's vape pipe, Rikiya would whip out his own from his suit jacket. He would then take a seat across from the dark-haired woman. "Hey there, my name's Rikiya, but you can call me Rick if you'd like.", he'd greet the woman, offering her a handshake.

He would then take a hit from his own vape pen, emitting a healthy cloud of blueberry-scented smoke in the process.

notes: Rikiya may be artless, but suitless he's not!

Rikiya would hurriedly catch the vape pen in his hand, taking a quick puff from the device. "I like to live life on the edge, y'know.", Rikiya remarked. As she remarked on how weird he was, he couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing the name Light. "I'd like to say my name is Darkness, but that's obviously bullshit.", he'd respond.

The next question, however, would catch Rikiya off guard. "Am I a virgin? Nah, I used to slay pus back when I was in University.", he'd tell the woman shamelessly. When she'd elaborate on her definition of a virgin, he looked at her again. "Why not just use terms like 'newbie', or 'greenhorn'? But to answer your question, no, I actually toured Kanto several years back.", he'd tell her.

Watt would cry out, getting the attention of Rikyia to the Seadra emerging from the waters, and firing off a Dragon Pulse at him. "Quick Attack to dodge, then Thunderbolt." The Pikachu would dash out of the path of the Dragon Pulse, before firing off another Thunderbolt at the Seadra, managing to strike it. The Seadra cried out in pain, being badly hurt by the attack. In retaliation, he would attempt to blast the Pikachu with a Hydro Pump.

"Quick Attack, then Quick Attack again." The Pikachu would quickly dodge the Hydro Pump with another dash of speed, before dashing up to the Seadra, and slamming into it with a Quick Attack. Thanks to the earlier use of Thunderbolt, this was enough to knock out the Seadra, who quickly dropped down.

Rikiya quickly tossed a Pokeball at the falling Seadra, which the Pikachu would quickly retrieve upon the creature being sucked in, dragging it to land. The blue-haired man would then turn back to Songbird. "Why'd you ask earlier? Are you a virgin?", he'd ask with feigned innocence.

Rikiya waited at the door to the elevator, watching the counter as it marked which floor the elevator was currently on. It seemed to be stopping rather frequently, a sign that the elevator was rather busy at this time. But then, he was too lazy to do the stairs today, he felt like simply taking the elevator down to the ground floor.

"C'mon. C'mon. C'mon.", Rikiya mumbled as he waited for the elevator to come up.

Finally, the elevator arrived on his floor. Much to Rikiya's surprise, the last occupants of the elevator would disembark from it, leaving it empty for the Electric specialist. But as Rikiya stepped in, he would see someone rushing towards the elevator. Feeling unusually generous that day, Rikiya placed a hand on the censor, keeping the elevator door open just long enough for the person to rush in.

He would then let this person hit the button for their destination first.
