So the oversized water mouse was the opponent... Johto vs Johto. While the Superpower presented by the Azumarill did strike home, the fact that it got caught by Crunch was a good start. And that allowed the Alligator to go further, wrapping its clawed arms around the mouse, using his Superpower to squeeze the life out of it, metaphorically... right?

A smirk appeared at the mention of that bet. "You're on. But you better put a limit to the number of beers, cause I'll make you declare bankruptcy." Yes, he drinks a lot. No one can judge him for that, it comes with the avatar state! (Ok not really but whatev).[break][break]

"Now, let the show begin." The Feraligatr roared before diving further into the sea, waiting for his opponent to descend. Once he would get in range, however, things would get rough. Due to the Sheer Force of its jaws and arms, the alligator would strike much harder. And as such, a Crunch awaited the enemy foolish enough to descend.

The double team worked, albeit temporarily. Seeing it speed up even more and chain all these acrobatics, the man couldn't help but whistle as he was amazed from this. But the Noivern could feel the pressure from this. But fighting speed with speed wouldn't help. The best plan was to reel the bird in.[break][break]

Thus, as the Talonflame finished crashing through the Double Teams and finally assaulted the real bat, the creature unleashed a point blank Dragon Pulse as it suffered the damage from the acrobatics.

The confusion was gone. The world stopped turning. The Paralysis wasn't letting up however. But this wouldn't stop him anymore. "Turn this around, Jungle." An order. Filled with conviction, belief that the lizard could fulfill its duty. He couldn't disappoint anymore. The advantage of having his hand onto the ground allowed him to feel the charge of the cat, to Detect it in advance. Thus, a roll to the side, followed by a jump further away allowed the Sceptile to avoid the range of the Discharge.

Less people on the battlefield also meant less casualties. As the delivery person got onto its Tropius, Balder waved good bye at him and proceeded to leave this field, marching towards the next battle.

It seemed like the bird was moving on its own, without any orders. Or none that Fernando was verbally or physically giving. He had trained his pokemons well. As expected of a Silph, one could say. But, he wasn't the only one. As the Noivern saw the bird on fire charge towards him, natural instincts kicked in, to try and dodge this. Rapidly, he began to fly around, using Double Team to try and dodge the attack.

As the Razor Winds proceeded to unleash, the Noivern dove right in, bringing its wings back against its own body. The blades struck, leaving gashes on its body, but no major wounds. Deploying its wings once more, the Dragon bat was now closer to the Talonflame. Balder whistled a loud note, signaling to the bat to use a strong move: Boomburst. The dragon concentrated vibrations into its ears before letting them unfurl towards the fire bird.

"Yes I am, but we ain't fighting here." Instead of waiting for the drunkard's input, Balder proceeded to lift Bryan onto his shoulders and got unto his transport. Without a warning, the Alolan started the engine at full speed, making them blast quickly away from the beach. After a few minutes of travelling, where the water was deep... He dunked Bryan into the water[break][break]

"That should wake you up a bit. We'll be fighting here." Upon these words, the man called a Feraligatr onto the field, having it sink under the waves and help Bryan up so he can breath and choose his pokemon carefully.

Adding Paralysis to the Confusion occasioned by swagger? Damn, this man wasn't holding back. The previously Unburdened Sceptile was now a knee on the ground and a hand to hold himself up. The punch missed the knife-holder, whilst a Grimmsnarl's punch was able to strike the invisible shield created by Shieldon, pushing the fossil and its owner a bit. Enough of an opening for someone to slip into the spire. Damn it. And now the damage was being piled on the rest of the team.[break][break]

Time to go a level even further beyond then. Seeing all the attacks going for Stella, the man unhooked the shieldon from his arms. "Tate, help her!" Thus, the man threw the fossil like a ball towards the Celesteela, allowing it to latch onto the steel structure. From there, the creature proceeded to extend a shadow Protective barrier all around the creature, to protect it from all incoming attacks.[break][break]

Once the attacks passed, the carnage began. Celesteela engaged the Steel Roller protocol, clearing the extended Misty Terrain created by the Weezing's special move. Balder proceeded to recall his Togekiss right away, hoping to spare it any upcoming damage. Once the field was completely cleared, the Celesteela unleashed the Steel Roller attack at Bryan's Kommo-O.[break][break]

"Emerge, Merlin! Stop this creature's madness." A flash of light allowed for an Alakazam to appear. An abnormal Alakazam though, as its left leg was a massive crystal spike and multiple smaller crystals covering the right side of its face. The creature grunted slowly, before using its 'Shadow' Disable to try and stop the Z-Move from Grimmsnarl.[break][break]

"Now... You got my attention, Beast." The knife guy was now growling and trying to reach him. But a surprise awaited. "Give me a boost... Leo." As he whispered these words, the light covering his arms, legs and hair intensified. Slowly at first, but then enveloping his whole body. The light expanded, taking a form akin to Solgaleo. And within it, Balder. The Light-shaped Lion advanced towards Chu-e Choi , ready to unleash its fangs in the form of a Fiery punch of light to BURN the beast's face off.

Well this... was an anti-climatic ending. Both Balder and Vulcan didn't expect for the other Camerupt to fall so quickly. Only two attacks had been dealt to it before it collapsed. Was the Mega Evolution that much powerful? As the other trainer advanced, extending his hand for a handshake, Balder proceeded to grab it and shake as well.[break][break]

"I guess it's more of a beast then I expected. I didn't expect the battle to end so quickly." Yeah that Camerupt did clear a forest full of Kartanas, but that didn't mean it could destroy another Camerupt so quickly right? .... Right???
