The case that Blaine was working on in Fallarbor town ended up being a bit more complex then he initially thought. When the man first took the case he thought it would be open and shut but he had hit a little bit of a dead end for the moment. Wanting to take some off from the investigation Blaine had wandered out onto Route 113, wearing a kind of tight fitting brown jacket over top of his clothes due to it being a little chilly outside. [break][break]

Training his pokemon a bit was a decent enough break from work, it would at least keep his mind preoccupied and his body busy as opposed to just hanging out at a cafe or something. If luck was on his side today he might even be able to find a new pokemon to add to his team. Blaine wasn't sure what kind of pokemon hung out on this route but hey it was better then doing nothing.[break][break]

Slipping his hands into the pockets of his jacket the man started to take his first steps through the tall grass on the ash covered route.[break][break]

Detective Jones had been working on a case for Slateport city for a few months now. He had been keeping track of a vigilante that was running around the city trying to stop crime, and after the couple months of surveillance he had their identity narrowed down to a few decent guesses. [break][break]

While morally he didn't have any problem at all with what they were doing, if you really think about it it wasn't too different from his detective work, just with a bit more violence and no rules. Despite not seeing much of a problem with what they were doing the pay he was being offered for their identity outweighed whatever feeling he had.[break][break]

At the moment Blaine was sitting at the counter of a shady little bar in Slateport, a glass of whiskey in his hand and empty seats on either side of him. There were a few people in the little bar, another man at the counter and some other patrons in booths. However it was still considerably less packed then the kinds of places Blaine was used to going to.[break][break]

He had seen his suspect come into this little bar a few times now and was rolling with it in hopes that she'd show up here tonight. Of course he came to the bar a few times already to get a bit acquainted with the staff, so he wouldn't seem completely out of place here. Even his attire blended in a bit, a plain black shirt and a pair of blue jeans instead of anything fancy.[break][break]

For now the detective simply sat at the bar taking sips of his whiskey, waiting to hear if anyone came through the door at all.

It wasn't too often that Blaine spent time at the night market, it wasn't that the man didn't enjoy the market he just didn't really hang out here all that often. For the most part Blaine was pretty tight with his money so a place where that money would be spent wasn't his ideal hang out spot. [break][break]

However he had recently come into a bit of extra money, nothing too important just a case that was solved super easily and paid pretty well. So that extra money was burning a bit of a hole in his pocket, the man wasn't sure what he wanted to spend it on so the markets wide variety was a pretty decent place to go to solve that issue. [break][break]

At the moment the man was wearing a dark brown shirt and a pair of black jeans, pretty casual clothes since he wasn't doing anything important. Aside from those he also had a shoulder holster on each shoulder.[break][break]

Instead of a weapon in either holster though they were modified to securely hold his pokeballs, three slots on the front of each one. Since he only had four pokemon though there were two balls in each holster so it would be even.[break][break]

Despite having planned to spend some money today Blaine had yet to actually buy anything in the night market, instead just walking around with his Pikachu following behind him. Occasionally a bit of attention was drawn over in the man's direction due to his Pikachu having a pipe in its mouth, no smoke seeming to come out of the pipe at all though.[break][break]

It wasn't too much longer until his plans to just blow some money would change, as he was walking along Blaine heard what sounded like someone sputtering behind him. Curious as to what the random noise was about he glanced over his shoulder to see a familiar face right at the edge of a trash can. Did she walk into it or something?[break][break]

Raising an eyebrow in confusion Blaine decided to make his way over to where Miya was, raising a hand up to scratch at the back of his neck. "You alright?" He simply blurted out kind of quietly, not trying to draw more attention to what might of been an embarrassing moment for his friend.

Blaine grew up in Mauville city as the eldest child out of three in a decently well off family. His family was best described as upper middle class, they didn't really struggle for much of anything and got a lot of extra things but they weren't filthy rich. Throughout most of his life Blaine really had no idea what he wanted to do when he got older, sure training pokemon was fun and all that but he didn't really see himself becoming the kind of guy to challenge gyms and try to become the region's champion. [break][break]

It wasn't until much later in his life that Blaine actually decided on what to do with his life, around the time he was set to graduate from high school Blaine decided to aim to become a detective. He wasn't able to do it right away of course and it took him years to actually get to the point he is now with his own little detective agency. [break][break]

Despite having his own agency he's still the only employee in the little shop front he rents in Mauville. He's also offered his help free of charge to the league and rangers every now and then. His primary goal is to just continue taking on cases and helping out the people the best that he can.
