he hadn't even found them yet. dawn hoped this wouldn't take long. reaching into his satchel, he'd come to pull out two pokemon, "yeah, got'em! floatzel and starmie, come out!" calling his pokemon out, he'd come to summon them from their respective balls. "floatzel is the fastest between the two and can definitely get them with starmie's assistant. your chewtle..." he'd come to look at the angy turtle, "...is very eager to get in there."

what a disturbing pokemon. it was like having the boogeyman stare you down. "m-maybe after i'm no longer sober." he'd take a sip of his alcoholic beverage, "two to three times a month? the dedication you must have." it was then a thought plagued him, "are you from hoenn by chance? you have the personality of a kalosian. during my visit to that region everyone was so exuberant and expressive, it was a bit overwhelming." lavone would definitely fit in. dawn would come to look at the grimmsnarl, hoping its attention was no longer on him.

did he just--? dawn's faced became scrunched at first, but it was then his mind had been brought upon the phrase 'kindred spirits'. "you and i? kindred spirits?" he didn't exactly know how to react. his face became a hesitant bright red, "you mustn't jest like that. we've only just m-met.." and then he spin a story, "i don't have many friends here yet, i'm actually pretty new to this town and i was just taking pictures of the scenery. would you care to join me, maybe serve as my tour guide?" dawn bluntly asked.

"p-please slow down!" he felt himself ready to chunk up his apple fritter and funnel cake. "let me off this ride immediately, i thought this was suppose to be for children!" he'd tried to get the door open as his new companion spun with all his might. "l-let's hurry up and get this over with!" he'd assist the male in spinning, hoping that if they spun enough the ride would be over.

"you're doing just fine carrying the room." he was having a bit too much fun with this, more than the average joe. then again karaoke was very popular in kalos, to think it'd be just as popular in hoenn.
