adrian's plan didn't seem to go all that well. looks like it was cadis turn. "ditto, go: transform." ditto became a pangoro and was ordered to get the pokemon riled up. though, sadly, it would seem as if ditto took it too far and became to enthralled with his role as a pangoro. "oh, when i said go i didn't mean beat it up, ditto." dawn would cover his face in shame.

with that aside he'd go to check on adrian. "hey, buddy, you doin' okay?" dawn spoke within a gentle tone. poking adrian upon the back. "looks like every pangoro is different."

the utterance of bug buzz from accelgor had been enough to alert them that fighting began. "it seems they're here, but we can leave our pokemon to deal with them." the sound of obstagoons and mightyena's crying were heard. while that was happening, cadis remained upon his phone and read the recent hnn article. "did you hear that there's a man dressed in tights going around calling himself a 'pokenger'? hoenn sure has been gathering some interesting individuals as of late."

cheeks became a rosy color as he explained. "how admirable, adrian. your hard work will truly take you places, how envious!" dawn stated with exuberance. "tell me---eh?" a special someone? rose-colored cheeks blushed heavily as he'd trail off to the side. "there is a special someone, but..." he'd rub the nape of his neck, "i don't think they'll ever notice me, haha!" covering his face and turning around, he couldn't continue doing his job due to being too bashful.

"b-b-but it's okay! there are other remoraids and feebas out in the sea, besides i'm too busy for relationships." he couldn't contain himself. his lower half casually swaying as hands clasped his cheeks. "but that doesn't mean i'll stop, if i try hard enough i'm sure i'll eventually win their hearts!" bringing his hands together, he'd say, "like your sweets. maybe if i feed them some it'll hel---actually, what were we making again?" he asked with confusion.

he could tell by from his positon she was someone who strived to achieve her goal. a hidden passion, if you will, to prove something to others. it was admirable. once she was done speaking, he'd lean in a little closer. hands clasped together as elbows were placed upon the table. "what i desire isn't loyalty nor strong trainers." that all came second, "what i truly yearn for is your truth." black orbs rested upon the woman before him, a hollow gaze peering into the very depths of her orbs. "i wish to see the true you. i desire your humanity. i want to understand what makes you human and me a monster..." a slight head tilt, he'd smile, "and your greatest desire." simple, right? "i want to understand your motivation, your reasoning for joining us. who is celeste abbiati, is she truly rocket material?"

"that's true, rabid pokemon weren't worth our time if they were just going to be a hindrance." he'd come to pull out his cellular device and began to text desmond and company. "if only they would just hurry up and show themselves. we're practically begging, after all." cadis remembered purposefully leaving the wooloo cattle's door open, so their had to be some wandering about.

"i'll just call for backup just in case we need a few set of hands to help move them." it would be troublesome if they proved feisty. "ah, and i'm also alright with severing their life cords early. we don't exactly have time for quarrelsome newborns."

"pleasure, lady nightingale." it was then the sound of a pokemon caught his attention. luckily, gallade was already on the case. together he and accelgor would bring him a potential feline that would serve him well, "a glameow, nice capture." with a simple ball he'd capture the feline with haste. "continue your hunt and don't stop bringing me potentials." his gaze would come to shift back toward isra.

"i've been meeting with most of our new recruits one on one. it was about time it for your turn." removing the bandage around his forehead and slicking his hair back, he'd say, "i'm sure your well aware, or at least were informed, about rocket's return. my question is how exactly did you come to learn of it?" he was genuinely curious. with their increase in recruits, someone was doing their job very well.

"accelgor, gallade, come!" calling forth his pokemon. cadis would turn to eva, "why not just use some of them for any current experiments you have ongoing? i'm sure we can bring back at least five of them." did he have any reason to bring himself back any? some of the grunts were pretty low on pokemon, so perhaps he could pass some off to them. "we could hand some over to our grunts." turning to his accelgor, an order was given, "accelgor, make sure to survey the area. gallade follow him and take one side, report back if you both find anything suspicious."

an index finger would come to meet the back of her head the moment she attempted to take a sip, "is that so?" said the hidden assailant. their voice, familiar, but lacking a specific tone to it. this tone of theirs was empty, almost devoid of any life. the person before her was a spitting image of the person standing behind her, as he walked by he'd casually pet the head of his 'twin'.

the illusion broke.

the duplicity of a zoroark would come to be revealed. since celeste's arrival she'd been speaking with a guise. a foxy grin was thrown celeste's way from the zoroark, snickering with glee. "i have to apologize for the deceit." cadis started off, "i'd no intention of using witch," his zoroark, "for something as trivial as this. it seems she has a mind of her own and can be a bit overprotective." cadis had been casually dressed within a suit, whereas his zoroark had him dressed within something more casual.

"though i must admit to think we'd have the chance to meet an abbiati. zoroark surely did ask the right questions." patting her head as she would remove herself from the chair, cadis would come to take over. "you're right to say that nobody would suspect a 'frail', 'weak', and 'defenseless' girl. an interesting mindset to have, but you should be careful." cadis chuckled, extending his hand out to her, he'd say, "my name is dawn grandier, at least in public."

they were paid to protect one of their many benefactors ranches. this was where they got some of their pokemon and test subjects. it would be a shame if something were to happen to the pokemon being produced upon this farm. would it hurt business? not necessarily, but rocket couldn't lose good cattle. "to think the obstagoon and mightyena would get out of hand like this." cadis secretly wanted to capture them. violent pokemon like that, who were to go on the front lines, were always useful.

"your enthusiasm is a great start, you remind me of priam." priam had already shown promise. the potential to become the next boss, if he could excel a bit in critical thinking then he'd definitely, without a doubt, become the next boss of team rocket. "i definitely want to partner you up with priam. he's a great person to follow. he was like you, new, fresh, and strong." rex had great potential, as long as he stuck to his truth.

"though, i am curious, why did you join rocket?" he inquired with curiosity.

"exactly, that's why it's up to us to make them sure." turning toward marcel, he'd continue, "we are gong to make them so sure of the other that they will never have doubt again." it was ones duty, as a partner, to ensure that their significant other felt safe--comfortable. "subordinates won't follow you if you're unsure, and it's clear the male is unable to reassure the female."

pangoros were strong creatures--warriors. even the slight whiff of weakness would most likely cause the female to reject the male. "pokemon are no different from human. we all have a preference, some prefer those who smell sweet. others prefer one with a bit of...tinge to their scent." looking back toward the pangoro, he'd say, "and then there are those who prefer someone who's strong, a person who takes initiative." he'd come to wield a pokeball upon the tip of his fingers, "they just need a little bit of motivation."

with the flick of a wrist a ditto was called forth. "ditto, transform." becoming a pangoro, the transfomred ditto would go to challenge the male pangoro for the female's heart. "love is just a fickle thing. so easily fragile when ones heart is clouded by emotions." looking to marcel, he'd ask, "before joining rocket, by chance, were you ever in love?" he'd leave ditto to finish the job.

interesting, a member of the abbiati. her story was quite an interesting one. it was then that, after capturing the boss's attention, she insisted on learning his name. "you know," he started, "it takes more than having a tragic backstory to be considered a member of rocket." sitting in his chair, hands folded over the other within his lap, he'd wear a soft smile, "as someone of the abbiati, what i don't understand, is how this led you to rocket?" councilwoman came to mind.

"are you not related to the abbiati woman upon the council? you say your parents died, but you are not without family like most in rocket." she was no different then any other grunt. "there must be a reason for what led you to us. the person who recruited you must have saw something in you, and i'm going to assume it's because of your name." standing from his chair, he'd lean in, "what if i asked you to abandon that name?"
